GO Outdoors - Porthmadog (Express) Arvostelua

Tyler was very helpful in my paddleboard search. He was super helpful, knowledgeable and paitient with all my questions, he went above and beond to source the right paddleboard for me, unfortunatley they didn't have it in stock and called 2 other shops in the area and got it reserved for me to collect later that day in Caernarfon. I'm a returning customer for a reason and thats because I always have great service at all Go Outdoors shops.

Alfie was patient, thoughtful about details and had great advice.
Would thoroughly recommend!

We came in to buy walking boots for our kids. Tyler was so helpful and patient despite the shop being very busy. He took time to check the fittings and offered helpful advice. We had to try lots of boots and eventually found perfect pairs. Thank you Tyler!

James and his colleague’s were super helpful and very friendly. It was a pleasure shopping there. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent 👍

Amazing staff. Always happy to help and great advice!!! Phil the manager very helpful and goes the extra mile to help. Thank you

Served by a gent called Tyler. Great service from start to finish. Despite the shop being busy he couldn't do enough to help and pass on knowledge. Have been into store before and all the staff are always welcoming and have great knowledge of the products. Cheers to all involved.

I had Tyler and Aron help me today and they where so kind and helpful giving me tips and advice and helping me pick the ideal sleeping pad and cooker for my activities I am very grateful for tylers help and personal experiences 100 stars

Popped in to grab some new hiking boots, staff were excellent and very knowledgeable. Can't wait to try them out!

I was very pleasantly surprised by my visit. I was greated by very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Aron helped me find the best hiking boots that fit me perfectly. And to top it all off, it was cheaper and the staff were friendlier than other outdoor shops I'd tried. Would highly recommend them! I hope to visit again soon.

I was served by Tyler and have been a few times. He is knowledgeable of the products and helps you make the right choice depending on what you are looking for. First class service! Thanks Tyler

Excellent experience at the Porthmadog store. Helped out by Alfie and Aron, both of whome were more than happy to help!

Will definitely go back.

Visited a few weeks ago, very friendly staff who will go above and beyond. Was served by Aron who contacted another store in the area to see whether they had a product that wasn’t available in the Porthmadog branch. After checking they had it in stock and then reserving one for me, he gave me clear directions to the store and helped me set up a membership to save time. Would highly recommend and will be using again when I’m in the area.

Popped into the Porthmadog store and received great knowledge and service when buying a sleeping bag and rucksack from Tyler and Mark. Cheers.

Staff very helpful and informative.

Staff are always very helpful and knowledgeable. Great stock range and availability. Highly recommend.

Do not bother sending anything back via this store to ups ! Terrible service and extremely rude.. I was told that my I would receive a txt verifying that I had returned my item within the hour .I did not receive the verification txt , called the store , The person on the phone was Not the person I dealt with in the store !
This person was totally unhelpful and rude ,He then put the phone on hold intentionally for ages so there ended the conversation! I had to phone New Balance ,the parcel was sent to them , who sorted it out immediately without any issues

Lovely staff extremely helpful well stocked store nice signage for items
Found what we wanted with no problems and much more Thank you for assisting me in spending my money lol

Phil and Tyler were so helpful and very knowledgeable about the product I was buying. Thsnk you

Visited Sunday 5th July with a list of 40+ items for daughters trip to Kenya. Was dreading it! It Ended up being a really lovely experience! Had help from a few, but in particular Alfie really helped us! He knew the store like the back of his hand and advised us on sizes/make’s and suitable gear! Thanks Alfie we really appreciated your help. The guy at desk also excellent customer service, but didn’t catch name.

Have previously been happy with the store but this morning I found the staff uninterested in serving or answering a query. No ‘ good morning and renewed the membership card with asking’ . Obviously been out Saturday night and didn’t want to be there. Not good customer service.
