GO Outdoors - Exeter Arvostelua

Igor was a great help!

Staff were excellent, most accommodating to this customer. I foolishly, (Did my homework after purchase, not before - twit), purchased two gas cylinders subsequently found to be the wrong type. I did not expect to be able to exchange them, expecting a ban on full cylinders, there being no proof of non-use. However, Larry on the phone spoke to manager Harry who agreed the exchange despite it being, 'Irregular'. Returning to the store for the exchange I was assisted by Cody who lifted all four heavy cylinders for me and organised the whole exchange. The young man at the till also most efficient though I didn't get his name.
Excellent service on both visits.

Knowledgeable help and friendly advice from members of staff, especially Harry. Thank you. We are happy with our purchases.

I was looking for new hiking boots and didn't know where to start, given my last pair lasted15 years. Larry brought at about 8 pairs for me to try. Let me take my time trying them on but was there when I needed to ask a question. Great service.

Excellent customer service from the team. Sam T helped me pick a pair of climbing shoes that would suit me. He was very knowledgable and helpful.

Went in for fishing bait, started chatting with Paul, lovely bloke and very helpful, good knowledge and more than happy to help us.

Thanks Paul you we're great, my son is desperate to beat his PB to get his photo on the wall.👍

Excellent!
The help and attention l received when purchasing my tent was second to none!
Thank you to the tall man and the chap with beard .🙂

Harry and Liam were super helpful when my partner and I were looking for a pair of walking boots! They were both extremely knowledgable and took their time explaining all the different types and materials! Thank you lads

Expert, friendly advice from Harry who helped me pick a pair of walking boots and very patient, warm and knowledgeable service from Sofiia who helped me choose a raincoat. 5 stars.

Paul.( The fishing dept) was helpful, polite & knowledgeable.

Paul is always welcoming and helpful. Any question's you ask Paul he will be able to help you with.

Very good range and excellent assistant Sofiia

Always great to go down and get my bait but not only that it's always good to have a chat with Paul on the angling side of things great bloke always happy to help.👍😊

Lewis was an Extremely helpful assistant

Paul who served was great went out the back to check if they had what I wanted in stock and explained excellently everything to me

Euro Hike rucksack cover. I put the cover on the rucksack and lifted the rucksack by the handle stitched to the cover and the thin cover material ripped straight away making it useless. So I had absolutely no use from the cover. Please don’t waste your money on this item as it is not fit for purpose.

After the response to my review from GoOutdoors, I emailed their customer services as requested and more than a week later they haven’t replied! I’d change my review to zero stars if I could!

After waiting another 2 weeks with no response from GO customer care, I called them and the advisor said she couldn't help and my only option was to go back to the store. I don't live near the store and it would cost me more in fuel to get to the store than the item cost. GO customer care are not helpful at all.

I called the customer helpline again and spoke to someone else and agreed a resolution I was happy with. So have amended my review accordingly. Thanks

Great service from a young chap called Larry. Very knowledgeable and a good listener too, so I ended up with the ideal pair of walking boots.

I had great service from the large Go Outdoors store in Exeter. Looking for walking boots, I found Harry to be extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. It was a great shopping experience.

The service given by Paul was excellent as always. His friendly manner and knowledge especially in the fishing department is an asset to go outdoors!

Lewis was a very helpful man and nothing was to much trouble
