Golds Gym Arvostelua 

I recently visited Gold’s Gym on a day pass and, unfortunately, had a very unpleasant experience with a staff member named Rafia Amjad at the reception. From the moment I arrived, her attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. I initially asked for a day pass, which she refused, claiming that it’s only available if accompanied by a current member. While I understand and respect gym policies, her manner of communication was unnecessarily rude.

I returned shortly after with a friend who’s a paying member, meeting the policy requirements. Instead of handling the situation professionally, Rafia seemed visibly irritated, stared at me for an uncomfortable amount of time, and even laughed sarcastically before reluctantly issuing the day pass.

To make matters worse, when I asked to pay for a locker key—a service I was more than willing to pay for—she flatly refused, stating that I wasn’t eligible because I’m not a member. This contradicts what I understand about the gym’s locker policy, and her dismissive attitude throughout the interaction left a very negative impression.

I was genuinely considering joining Gold’s Gym as a full-time member, but this experience has seriously put me off. Customer service is key, especially in a fitness environment where people expect professionalism and respect. I hope management addresses this issue so future visitors aren’t discouraged in the same way.

Ein Unternehmen, welches noch nicht mal zeitnah für erledigte Jobs (in meinem Fall Plakat-Checks) bezahlt - solch einen Verein kann man sicherlich insgesamt in die Tonne werfen.
In Zukunft werde ich es mir 2 Mal überlegen, ob ich für die Firma Aufträge als AppJobber ausführe - denn für mich sind 114 € eine Menge Geld (genau dies ist mir Golds Gym seit Tagen schuldig)!

Hounslow Golds Gym makes you sign a 12 months contract saying that they do have a parking but the parking is a lake… not a parking and the availability is 5%… minimum waiting Tim to get a parking is 40 mins…. You lose energy waiting to get in!

Gehören zu McFit. Beide stellen ständig das warme Wasser ab. Da kommen Legionellen. Sauna auch nicht gut

Harrow Gold’s has good spacious area for workiouts. Other facilities as as expected.

When I hear the phrase “cheap is expensive”, I am instantly reminded of Golds gym. The gym has to many people for its equipment and capacity, the Jacuzzi is ever crowded and almost always not working. One time, the changing room flooded and the toilets in the changing rooms are always dirty with hair in the showers. Then they have the guts to charge you £10 if you miss the payment by a day. Need I not talk about the dust in the lockers and the crowded steam room. It’s totally not worth it and if I could give them a 0, I would.

Quasi unbenutzbarer Onlineshop, da viele Teile in größeren Größen aktuell nicht lieferbar sind, es aber keine Option gibt in irgendeiner Form danach zu filtern. Man muss sich durch jede einzelne Variation durchklicken und schauen ob es lieferbar ist. Keine Vorschau in der Auswahl der Variation oder Filterbarkeit in der Produktübersicht, eigentlich alles Standard heutzutage. Besorgt euch bitte mal eine vernünftige Shopsoftware oder sprecht mit jemandem der in der Lage ist diese zu konfigurieren...

I had a disappointing experience at Gold's Gym Hanwell. Despite reporting incidents of verbal abuse and even an attempted physical assault, the gym refused to let me leave my contract early. I paid £36 a month for 10 months, and when I finally left on police advice, I was given a small £8 refund because I had been using the gym—simply to get my money's worth.

If my contract had been ended earlier, I wouldn’t have faced these issues for so long. Overall, their handling of the situation was extremely poor, though I do appreciate the support of some of the reception staff who were compassionate about it.

I have been a member for over 20 years, but recently people with extremely bad hygiene are using the gym and making it unpleasant for other users.

Surely you must be able to smell yourself, maybe have a shower or wash before you come to the gym. Paper towels and spray is provided but a lot of people don’t bother wiping their sweat off machines or benches for the next user.

Anything good about this place gets outshined by their greed the moment you need to leave and cancel your membership. They want you to give them 30 days notice but they never make this clear, unless you go looking for their T&Cs and we all know only lawyers do that. On their e-mail responses they act as if this was common knowledge and treat you as if you were stupid for not knowing their terms and conditions. I do not recommend to anybody to even bother with this place, it is not a pleasant experience and you will regret signing up.

2 other members made a racial comment against me in the sauna and afterwards accused me of doing so when I only stated facts of hygiene in the sauna in a friendly way. Yet, they gym allowed this unjustified and "playing the victim type" of behaviour to continue by supporting their horrible attitude and put a suspension on my membership because apparently it was all about, in their own words "the majority of people". I will have to take this further, so that these 2 women don't get away with bullying others for saying and doing the things which are correct but they don't like. The gym better does the right thing now and lift my suspension because this type of conduct is totally unacceptable for a business based in a country with ethical values.
