Very disappointing experience with Golden Globe Merchants Ltd.

My solar and battery system was installed in January 2026. I made over 30 calls reporting that the system was not generating electricity properly, but I was repeatedly told it was due to poor weather.

After investigating myself, I discovered that the solar system had been left switched off for approximately three months after installation.

I also repeatedly reported that the battery was not discharging at night. An engineer initially said there was no fault, but the company later accepted that the battery was not operating correctly and advised that parts had been ordered.

More recently, changes were made to the system settings and the system became completely non-operational. Despite numerous promises that an engineer would attend, the issues remain unresolved.

The most frustrating part has been the lack of communication, repeated broken promises and the amount of time I have spent chasing a solution.

I hope the company now takes responsibility, fixes the system properly and compensates me for the losses caused by months of poor or non-existent performance.

Had a very good experience with Zoa Energy. The staff were approachable, organised and handled everything smoothly from the beginning. Communication was clear throughout and the work was completed quicker than I expected.

I want to tell people that before they putting solo panel they not check roof from top and they just tell from outside that roof is good condition. in my case i send all money for solo panel then after they come for fix solo panel and they said not able to fix solo panel because u roof is not good condition and they said to put new roof and i tell him ask refund and they said the will give u half because i miss deadline of date for cancel my contract but it not my fault because after finish deadline for contract and they come for fix solo panle so how i can’t cancel it after.

They were supportive and professionals. Did the job pretty quickly without any hassale. Install the ideal solar systek as per my requirements. Strongly Recommend

AVOID at all costs. I had raised an issue with them with regards to their work. 6 months later I am still awaiting a response pushing it from one customer service agent to another. By this point they stopped signing off their emails with a name! Raised it with a regulatory body. Everyone should do this same.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They will use incompetent tradesmen, damage your home, not tell you about damage caused, take short cuts, pretend to do work and take fake pictures, make false promises and leave you with problems you never had before. They will not attend to fix these issues they have caused

We had external wall insulation and roof insulation. The work was completed in a timely manner and to a high standard. Good communication throughout.

Absolute joke of a company, total cowboys. Had a survey done back in November 2024 to get roof done via Gov scheme and was approved, only then to be told after chasing that the funds had run out. Told to try again in 2025. So in march/April I tried and once again was approved after survey, after months of chasing, they sent someone round twice to check ventilation, only to be told they could not do the work that had been done on over 200 other houses, because they could not put a vent in my kitchen, something that none of the 200 other houses have had done. What a joke and waste of my time. This company needs to be checked that they are not receiving funds falsely.
