Gilbert & Rose Arvostelua

From start to finish, the service we received from G&R was outstanding, We accepted an offer before a "For Sale" sign could even be put into the ground. A special thanks to Claire, who was simply amazing throughout. Her dedication to progressing the sale and keeping us constantly updated made the whole process smooth and stress-free.

We couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Highly professional, efficient, and a genuinely caring service. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to sell their home!

I contacted Gilbert and Rose to rent out my flat and have been delighted with the service I received. The staff are very professional and friendly. Steven and Ruby who dealt with my flat were outstanding and very efficient in their work. Nothing was too much trouble and they always got back to me swiftly to answer any questions I had. They are a credit to their company and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Gilbert & Rose manage our properties. Sarah and her team provide a first class service. They are excellent at finding suitable tenants. Any problems are resolved very quickly and without fuss. I would strongly recommend Gilbert & Rose

Aaliyah has been amazing, me and my wife are currently letting out our place and letting somewhere else. It’s the first time going through this process and we were clueless. She has helped us every step of the way and we couldn’t thank her enough!

We have been working with them for over 3 years now. They are best in what they do we couldn’t get any better than this I personally say that they have taken all the pressure off my shoulders and I will recommend them to anyone who like a stress free life. So big Thanks to the team for us.

Where do I start? We opted to move to G&R after issues with a well known Canvey Island estate agent (also with a yellow sign), who struggled to follow the basics of selling. My wife and I had come across G&R after contacting them regularly about various houses we had seen for sale in Rayleigh. Out of all the estate agents we had spoken to, they were the most polite, approachable and responsive. When we decided to try a new agent, we decided to go with G&R based on our experience as a potential buyer. Fathom came round to explain everything to us and with her Essex charm - won us over and we signed on the dotted line. We were then assigned Amie who would be our sales agent, who put her heart and soul into selling our home. She was clear to potential buyers what our selling points were and even pulled potential buyers along who had not seen our property listed. Due to one of our rooms being an awkward shape, we had a lot of disappointment finding a buyer, but Amie kept positive and kept pushing, eventually finding the right buyers for us. Amie was a gem and she made our sale experience perfect. Once Amie's work was done, Phoebe then took over with sales progression and she really earnt her money with our exchange, because we did not have an easy time due to solicitor issues and various other issues. She was amazing, kept us fully informed and did not give misinformation or false hope like other estate agents were doing with their clients. G&R were somewhat more pricey than other estate agents in the area, however I really feel you are getting your monies worth here. Great onboarding, great sales rep and great sales progressor. Thank you G&R for being the one thing we could rely on in our sale!

I had the fortunate chance of having the best “after care” I have ever received when buying/selling my property. From the minute Claire Skilbeck rang to say she would be looking after my sale, she went above & beyond to get me through the stressful process. She was absolutely brilliant & literally got me through it by making numerous calls & taking the stress out of it. I can’t thank her enough & she is an absolute credit to Gilbert & Rose. Thank you so so much Claire & I would definitely sell my home again if Claire was involved!!! Fantastic service & care!!! I was so impressed with the care Claire gave.

These guys have sold my last 2 houses above ask on the first day of listing!

Best in class

Simply the best. Entirely professional throughout and outstanding customer service. Highly recommend.

We recently sold our property through Gilbert & Rose and couldn’t be happier with the service. From start to finish the team were professional, proactive, and always kept us updated. They made the whole process smooth and stress-free, and their local knowledge and advice were spot on. Excellent service all round – highly recommend Gilbert & Rose if you’re looking to sell your home.

I’ve sold multiple properties through Gilbert & Rose and have always found them to be highly professional, transparent, and reliable. Their valuations are accurate and realistic, and they consistently match properties with well-vetted, quality buyers — which makes the whole process smoother for everyone.

What really stands out is how fairly and thoughtfully they handle both sellers and buyers. They communicate clearly, keep everyone informed, and work hard to make sure the experience is as stress-free as possible on all sides.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Gilbert & Rose to anyone buying or selling. They set the standard for how estate agents should operate.

I contacted 'Gilbert & Rose' at the start of my property search, and I was immediately impressed with how personal the service was.

I told them all the usual information, my budget, desired locations, my non-negotiables, and my personal taste. I was paired with two agents, one for new builds and one for existing homes.

Over the next two weeks I was taken to view several properties, each and every one felt hand-picked for me. Of course, each place had its pros and cons, but it was crystal clear that my initial brief had been considered with great care.

Three weeks into my hunt, I have settled on a beautiful new build and placed my deposit. I couldn't be happier with the level of service and evident expertise offered by 'Gilbert & Rose'. I will certainly be recommending them to others, and will be sure to contact them first, should I ever need to use an estate agent in future.

We have sold our family home and have purchased other properties through G&R, and we have only ever had amazing people and an amazing experience. Highly recommend!!

Quick service , great customer service

So helpful and accommodating the team really made selling my house as stress free as possible - will be using G&R next time I need an estate agent

Gilbert and Rose, where can I start. Flawless processes and understanding throughout what was a difficult process in selling a house for the in-laws. Would use again for sales, and already use them for property management. Thanks again, Spencer & the Team.

The most professional, helpful, forward thinking estate agents around.
Perry and Spencer are absolutely first class and always strive for the very best for their clients.
The video team are exceptionally talented with in my opinion Hollywood like videos for the properties listed.
Casey is an absolute star who I always have the pleasure to chat too on a weekly basis.

Cannot recommend this amazing team anymore if I tried 🙌🏻
First class all round
