If users received a low allocation like that then they may not have contributed much to the Grass network! Typically the best way to ensure you have a higher allocation would be to have a strong, reliable internet connection for Grass to use. If there is demand in your region then Grass will use this connection and you will earn network points. Also make sure your app(s) are up to date!

Misinformation/Misleading/Wrong information. NO GO.
I’ve been mining since Epoch 4 and stayed consistently active for months, accumulating nearly 3 million uptime points, running multiple devices, and bringing referrals.
The frustrating part is that uptime points appeared to matter for most of the project, but near the end the allocation became heavily based on Network Points instead. As a result, long-term users like me who supported the network early received very small allocations despite significant participation and loyalty.
It feels unfair because the weighting of rewards was not clearly communicated from the beginning. If Network Points were always going to be the main factor, many of us would have used the platform differently from day one.
I understand rewarding real network contribution, but the current system makes early and consistent participation feel undervalued.

Ideally the right setup for Grass would be to run the application on the devices you typically use every day, that way it does not feel like you have to stress or worry about participating or even how the rewards will be distributed.
Grass is designed to be passive and flexible, meaning it runs quietly in the background using only your unused bandwidth, and you can pause or stop it anytime there’s no requirement to keep it running 24/7 .
While staying connected longer can increase uptime and rewards, participation is optional and based on your availability, not an obligation. Also, rewards depend on factors like bandwidth usage and network activity, so Grass should be seen as a supplementary, passive system not a guaranteed or primary source of income!

Just wanted to clarify something! Because Grass is running In the background you use, and uses very minimial resources, there should be no impact on energy consumption. Running Grass should not be an obligation but more based on availability. Ideally you would only run the app when you typically use your device!

I have been running Grass for 319 days across multiple devices and accumulated 1.95 million Uptime Points. After the Stage 2 Rewards Checker went live, my estimated reward is just 0.29 USDC.
This result is deeply disappointing. Users were encouraged to keep their devices online for months, share unused bandwidth, and contribute consistently to the network. After investing significant time, electricity, internet bandwidth, and system resources, receiving an estimated reward of $0.29 feels completely disproportionate.
The reward system lacks transparency. Grass has never clearly explained how Uptime Points and Network Points are weighted, making it impossible for contributors to understand how their rewards are calculated. Many long-term users are reporting similar frustration and confusion.
I will wait until the official claim opens on July 22 before making a final judgment. If the final reward changes significantly, I will happily update this review. However, based on the current estimate, this has been one of the most disappointing reward experiences I have encountered.

Just wanted to reply and say there is no evidence that shows the Grass team selling hundreds of millions of tokens so that is a baseless claim! Also, Grass has already rewarded 2m+ users in stage 1 and about 6.2m users in stage 2!

Terrible site, Terrible support countless hours running in epoch2 but estimated USDC payout is $0 with over 1,941,162 points, support say its only for "app support", avoid this company at any cost do not waste your time or effort. not saying its a "scam" my friends who referred me got a mere $4 showing on his for half of the points but terrible site and honestly not worth risking your data to fund this awful company, Stay safe, They also lied and said you would be paid in $grass which has changed and now being paid in USDC to favour them.

It looks like you may have joined Grass during the last week of stage 2 which probably explains the low rewards. I'm not sure what you are referring to when you mention your IP getting blacklisted but Grass has nothing to do with that!
Also, Grass does not require any more energy to run on your device than your device would normally use so it should not increase costs!

I know that sounds like not a lot but if you think about it, you're bandwidth has been sitting idle not being put to use...so why not getting paid a little bit for renting some of it out? The alternative is letting large corporations use your bandwidth without you consenting to it and not getting rewarded for it at all (yes that happens).
Because the Grass app is so easy to run, it makes sense to participate and get rewarded for something you've never been rewarded for before.

wish i could have gave them 0 stars. introducing some shit network points mid airdrop and saying its just a addition and then the primary (uptime points ) are ignored. The primary points conversion ratio is so low that even million uptime points will give few cents. They just suck up on your device and network, would not recommend. Greatest scams in the history, they have betrayed ther communitty

I totally understand the frustration on getting a lower allocation than you may have expected. Uptime points are measured based on the availability of your bandwidth and Network points are measured based on the usage of that bandwidth.
Grass had communicated during Epoch 11 when those Network points were introduced and you can check out the documentation on how those two types of points differ. The best way to earn Network Points would be to ensure your app(s) are up to date and that you have a stable connection for Grass to use!

There is zero truth to this review and is a baseless claim. Grass does not have access to user data, user systems or anything related to the user aside from the information used to create a Grass account.

Grass is totally safe to use and theres nothing scammy about it! It's super simple and all you do is download the Grass app onto your device and press connect. Before Grass came along, large corporations have been using your idle bandwidth without your knowledge and not paying you anything for it!

I ran a Grass node for almost 2 years, 24/7, with virtually no downtime. I never missed an uptime check, never complained, and honestly “farmed” for their promised future airdrop, just as the project team suggested.
I waited for Airdrop 2. The result: 9 USDC.
Nine dollars. For two years of continuous node operation. I won’t even calculate how much the electricity and time spent maintaining this thing cost me.

Users were rewarded based on the contribution of both Uptime and Network points! If you earned more network points you may have received a higher reward due to the higher conversion rate to USDC!
The best way to ensure you have the best chances of getting more network points would be to make sure the app is up-to date and your connection is strong and reliable!

I believed in Grass. I don't anymore.
I don't write reviews very often, especially negative ones. I'd rather spend my time building things than complaining. But after waiting more than a year to see how this project rewarded the people who helped build its network, I think it's only fair to share my experience.
I wasn't chasing a quick airdrop. I wasn't running a browser extension on an old laptop for a few weeks. I invested because I genuinely believed in the idea.
I run a fairly substantial homelab with multiple always-on systems. I've spent years building reliable infrastructure, so I understand exactly what it costs—both financially and in time—to keep systems online 24/7. I knew what I was contributing, and I was happy to contribute because I believed Grass was building something worth supporting.
I even bought one of the $90 Grass shirts because I wanted to support the project beyond simply running nodes.
That's how much confidence I had in it.
Looking back, I regret that decision.
My final results
*520 Days Active
*25 Devices
*1,613,809 Uptime Points
*518.16 Network Points
Estimated Allocation: $2.61 USDC
After more than 520 days, that's what my contribution was apparently worth.
Not even enough to cover the electricity used by the equipment that helped support the network. I wasn't expecting to become rich. That would have been unrealistic.
What I did expect was that over a year of consistent participation would be recognised in a way that reflected the value contributors were providing.
Instead, I watched the reward model evolve to place far greater emphasis on Network Points, leaving huge amounts of accumulated Uptime Points with very little practical value.
Whether that was intentional or simply poor communication, the outcome is the same.
I've lost confidence in the project.
Running infrastructure isn't free.
*It costs electricity.
*It costs hardware wear.
*It costs internet bandwidth.
*It costs maintenance.
*It costs time.
Those costs are carried by the community, not by Grass.
The money itself isn't what disappointed me most.
What disappointed me was what the payout represented.
If over 520 days, across 25 devices, with more than 1.6 million Uptime Points, my contribution is considered to be worth $2.61, then I honestly don't believe long-term supporters are being valued fairly.
Grass had an interesting vision, and that's why I supported it. Unfortunately, I no longer feel that support goes both ways.

I won't be recommending Grass to anyone. If you're considering joining, don't rely solely on marketing or leaderboard screenshots. Read the experiences of long-term participants, compare the resources they invested with what they ultimately received, and decide for yourself whether it's a fair exchange.
I genuinely hope Grass improves because the concept has potential.
At this point, however, I no longer have confidence in the project.

Im sorry expectations were not met because it sounds like you invested a little bit into some hardware and additional resources. Ideally Grass is great for those who run the app on the device they typically use day to day. Since you are already paying for the resources to use that device, Grass is taking advantage of that. If you didnt get a ton of rewards with your setup it's likely because you didnt get many network points. This can happen due to not updating the app and/or not having a stable connection for Grass to use!
Lets not forget, Grass is actually providing value for something big companies are already taking from your internet via sdk's (can be in things you download like screensavers, apps, etc) without rewarding you for it.
