Contacted Manaal Malik at Geldards (Derby) to help me with various items (Probate, Deed of Variation and rewrite our Wills). Manaal was so easy to work with she understood our requirements and completed the tasks at a steady pace communicating whenever she needed clarification (via email, text). Manaal was very good at explaining all the legalities and provided great advice as well as opportunities. I would recommend Manaal to anybody looking for someone who is sympathetic to your needs but also very professional in her approach.

They were prompt and accurate at all times even when the opposite side went off at such unnecessary tangents.

My experience of Geldards has been awful. They're acting for National Grid (was Western Power) on a land transfer, NG have given me some land in exchange for a piece I've given them. Actual groundwork was undertaken in March 2019 so it's coming to 5 years and they still have not provided the correct paperwork. I was told 6 to 8 weeks! They didn't take any time initially to understand the requirements of the transfer and had to be corrected on many mistakes and it still goes on! My solicitors cost estimate has now increased over four fold.

Sadly my experince hasn't been pleasant. My opinion, the solicitors need more training and courage to take cases on. I'm shocked that they don't have the brains to know the causations of the illness and more. This negative review was due to Geldards lack of knowledge of a case which should have been dealt with. Did I forget to mention. Money talks, literally!
