Recently tried Garnier "Good" permanent hair colour. (Shade 7.33) .

Tempted by the" no ammonia" , " 90% natural origin", & " pleasant, natural scent", printed on the packaging.
So expected a more gentle product..
But, Wow! It's potent stuff! Beware!
( I carried out the skin test before using & seemed ok),
but on application,
Scalp tingled immediately.
I washed it off thoroughly before the recommend time, as was concerned.
Scalp felt tight & irritated, enough to make me take an antihistamine afterwards in case of a reaction.
It lifted very quickly & left my hair feeling dry. This product was definitely too strong for me (& I've coloured my hair for 40 years!)
Dissappointing, & in my opinion, misleading information.
There's lots of warnings & safety instructions on the package about skin tests & allergies etc..so not so " natural" or " good" ??

Not a good experience & won't be using again.

Garnier hair food has changed my hair entirely. I have used all of them however my personal favourites have been papaya, pineapple and banana. They’re always on offer and even at full price, very affordable and amazing for hair. My hair is often very dry and due to previous bleaching, has a lot of breakage. This hair mask has completely changed how looks and feels, even after trying many other options

I bought garnier sensations dark blonde for a quick re touch up. THIS IS NOT DARK BLONDE, MORE DARK BROWN. Ive spent a long time getting my hair lighter only for YOUR hair dye to put me back to stage 1. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Garner Natural Extra Light Ash Blonde Review
I did a few highlights with this hair colour for an experiment!
My hair is very bright blonde as you can seen in the video.
It turned purple! Glad I didn't do all my hair !!!
Not what I wanted so wouldn't advice this colour on very light hair!!!

Latest "ultra color" formula is a disaster. Been using GN for years no problem to cover grey. Noticed, however, end last year that product changed to "Ultra". My scalp started stinging so bad that I had to wash it off. My hair color went bright orange to the point where friends told me to redo my color. Went back to old color, no problem. Now we can't find old stock anymore. Be very careful - coloring is not supposed to burn.

Don’t bother with the hair colours very thick I have a bob hair cut one box didn’t even cover half my head go on Amazon but the the dye and peroxide yourself and mix yourself a lot less expensive and will will what a complete rip off I will never purchase another product from this brand looks like every business is just taking advantage now. Making bottles smaller etc.

For the past 10 years, I have been using Garnier hair colouring. In 2025, in December, I purchased and was surprised that they changed the packaging, especially the product quality. It is of very poor quality. In such a way, they changed the paste so that it is not at all user-friendly to apply. Looks like vaseline and too dense. Now I changed to Loriel. Management should have review practically before changing their product.

I used garnier vitamin c cleanser and I had a allergic reaction on my face which felt like it was on fire and a red bumpy rash my skin has now started peeling I will never use this product again after googling I see there is a lot of people that have experienced the same issue

They so called semi perminent hair dye, does infact not fade, stopped my hair from growing, not the colour on the box, brown hair dye=ginger, hair snapped off. Do NOT buy, still not faded after a whole year and month.(it said 28 washes on the box)

This is the worse face cream I have ever purchased. It sits on the skin and refuses to sink in.

Garnier Good hair dye. This was AWFUL and should be removed from shelves. No longer an at home hair colour system, just a bunch of packets I store a large cardboard tub. You mix it in the tub, like it’s a student ramen dinner. Pretty unprofessional. Then, there wasn’t even enough product in their tiny packets to cover my fine shoulder length hair. Burned like hell whilst it was on and now, 4 days later, I’m left with a straw-like texture and the colour is hideous! It’s now going to cost me a trip to the hairdressers to repair the damage it has done to the integrity of my hair. I got this because it said it was gentle to hair. That’s a flat out lie! Look at all these bad reviews!
This eco-friendly packaging thing that they’re pushing is nothing more than a sneaky gimmick that they’re using to maximise profit. They’ve massively reduced the cost to make this product by reducing the portion sizes of cream and developer, removing the bottles so that there is no way of applying this to your hair unless you use your hands or buy extra tools. To do all this and then have the audacity to not pass this discount on to the customers, but instead to put their prices right up to the same retail price as professional at home kits, it’s really shady and I’m so incredibly disappointed in Garnier for how poor and damaging their products are becoming.

How did my hair go from golden blonde to gray/brown?I bought a golden blonde but ended up like a gray pigeon. WHAT the hell! Such a bad transformation.

Used Garnier Skin Active 2 in 1 Brightening serum cream and this stuff made my face burn . No wonder it says gives a healthy glow. Please do a spot test before use ladies

Garnier, what can I say. They are promoting their products through a person on TT, who has stated she has poor Mental Health. She also is known to allegedly lie on her reviews should not be trusted. A company, like Garnier should be seeking positive examples for their products and this and many people I know have been more than put off by their marketing strategy and this false and fake person.

I have used Garnier hair dyes for many years and been satisfied with the results. However, when I dyed my hair again recently, the product turned my hair grey !! I had followed the instructions, so contacted Garnier to complain. Their response was poor and dismissive, suggesting that it was my fault. All I was looking for was a refund but this is obviously not a company that cares. I will never use their products again

Garnier Good is in such dangerous packaging ,any child would instantly think it an Ice cream container and try and consume it .
the container must be changed straight away or else who knows what willhappen

I've been dying my hair for the last 20 years and never have I had a hair dye that washes colour out 3 weeks on. I used Dark Cherry red. Red staining everywhere. Something needs to be done in this day and age to prevent colour running like this. I would avoid if you want to protect your white towels.

I’ve used number 5.0 hair colour the packet with Davina McCall on front for at least 8 years. What the hell did you do to it Garnier? It has now gone from my perfect colour of mocha brown cool tones no warmth. To now being totally red warm based. It’s absolutely dreadful.everyone had thought I had changed hair colour and dyed my hair red.
It also lasts on the hair for 2 weeks at most before fading to an orange warm red. I rung customer services and they said it has been changed and warmth been put in. Why change what wasn’t Broken. So disappointed I’m now on the hunt for cool brown shade.

used golden brown hair dye and it showed it would be lighter on my hair which my hair is dark brown and on the box it showed a lighter colour which you can see, it made my hair even darker and i’ve used other products and this has never happened, garnier products have gone worse and worse throughout these years will never buy again, waste of money.

VITAMIN E MOISTURISING BODY CREAM
I bought this for my auntie because the friends that do her personal care said her skin was dry and ashy. Flakes would fall off when she scratched her arm where the patches irritated it, but no more. She has been using prescription pain patches on her arms for many year and her skin was scaly, sore and red. They bought a body oil but she didn’t like it. When I gave it to her and she opened it, she said can I eat it🤣, she loved the smell. Within two weeks, her skin is now healed, smooth, moisturised and back to normal. She said she has put away all other creams and is using only this. Her body stay moisturised throughout the whole day and she is very happy. She also doesn’t wear socks to hide the dry crusty feet and heels because her the are now smooth. When her friends had finished her care they also used it on their hands and were impressed with the smell, effectiveness and the feeling on their hands, so much so that they are also going to purchase.
I bought her another one and she was thanking God and dancing in her bed.

Maybe Garnier can look into working with the NHS to help with beds sores and flaky skin that a lot of senior and bedridden patients are plagued with.

After breast cancer surgery in 2018 I was given a prescription cream to keep my breasts supple and moisturised but I found that it was just greasy. In 2024 I abandoned the Dr’s cream when I found the CERAMIND NOURISHING BODY BUTTER & VITAMIN C NUTRI - GLOW BODY CREAM. I still experience severe nerve pain under my breast from the surgery and it is important to keep them supple so that on moving the scars move with me and don’t feel like they are dragging.

All of these creams are a good buy, good value, good price and they do what they say on the label. I would definitely recommend I would definitely recommend and keep purchasing.

Maybe Garnier can look into working with “Look Good Feel Better Charity” (I know they do it at St Luke’s Cancer Hospital in Guildford) and do mini tubs that could be donated to the gift bags that they offer with one of the therapies after after treatment and surgeries have been completed. It’s a nice treat to help regain confidence to feel beautiful again after losing hair/breast.
