I am verry disappointed about the quality of the plants received. They where advertised as healty plants in pots and I received only few dried sticks , no pots ,that are good only to be put in the bin,not in the garden.I hope that they have the decency to return my money back.Waste of time and money .

Received my plants as per order and in good condition (well watered) and well packaged as they were in transit for 5 days because of the bank holiday weekend!
Shipping took longer than expected as I was expecting it from Ireland and couldn't find my tracking information using the DPD IE website. A small improvement would be to include the NL DPD website along with tracking number in the order summary confirmation. Good communication when I had a query about my order.

Don’t recommend buying from them , better to go to nearest garden center and pick yourself, at least you see what you buying .

After reading the reviews I hadn’t much faith in receiving my order but I received my order just one day late in fairly good condition. I did email customer service because I didn’t receive a tracking number to which they did reply . I would order from this company again .

This company have been inconsistent in the past, but not bad. A few months ago, my plants turned up smashed, so I contacted them. I was ignored. Without realising it was the same people (they are gardens4you and also Bulbs direct), I have tried to use them again. They take the order, hold your money several days, then refund without a word of explanation. Cowboys!

Confused about all the bad reviews - my plants arrived within 3 days, very well packaged, all healthy and good condition. I didn't initially get the tracking email but I contacted customer service and they sent it on immediately for me. I can't fault them at all and wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

This company is impossible to contact.
According to Clear Score one of my passwords was obtained via them and is for sale on the dark Web.
Their customer service and email doesn't connect so use at your peril.

Bough almost €200 worth of house plants and pots etc. all arrived in pretty beat up conditions. The three fiscus that were supposed to be in separate pots at a cost of €50.50 cam in one pot and were completely destroyed. Sent the unboxing photos etc then dumped but of course to get a refund or replacement they require additional photos don’t buy from them if you don’t want to waste money Paul Cavan Ireland

I would love to tell you all about the quality of the product but to be honest I never managed to get past the checkout. After filling in all the details it looped me back to the same point several times and I was not able to buy the items i wanted. No email address available on site just a contact us hotlink which does the same as the checkout. Total bust, very frustrating and a waste of time.

AVOID! High delivery charges, so I ordered more to make it worth the cost - the plant I actually wanted was very cheap - arrived dead, they won’t replace due to low cost, and won’t refund delivery costs, so basically an expensive waste of time. Also, plants advertised as ‘in pots’ do t actually come in proper pots.
Avoid.

I finally got a partial and inadequate refund after having to argue my point over several days and lots of emails.

They seem geared up to deny any claim. They repeatedly made the same empty arguments about plant size and price. It was obvious from the start that what they shipped is not what was ordered.

I bought an 'XL' plant that was supposed to be 1.4 - 1.6m tall. It was less than a metre. Basically they sent me a plant that I paid top price for but simply sent me a smaller size that they also listed at a much lower price.

The second plant I bought was worse. The picture showed a healthy lucious plant 800cm with a dozen strands to it. They sent one that was 4 strands and leading badly to one side, almoe 90 degrees.

Overall this site seems to be geared up to exaggerate the quality with its images, offer seemingly good prices but then ships much smaller inferior plants.

The business is in the EU and is subject to all the consumer protections available. They really tried to wriggle out it though. My advice would be to avoid the temptation. You really do get what you pay for.

Finally this is really a .ie and .uk 'squatter ' account. They have no presence outside of the Netherlands. Nothing wrong with that but it means sending it back to them would be very expensive.

Save yourself the hassle and avoid.

I recently bought some plants from Gardens4U.ie. Although this site seems to have multiple identities and is really a dutch company.

I just received my order the plants are clearly a much smaller size than the ones I ordered. There is no debate really. I ordered a plant clearly marked 140-160cm fro €59.95 but I have received a plant that is a mere 107cm. Plants of this smaller size are also available on the site but for €26.95. Of course this makes the price extremely uncompetitive.

I am hoping Gardens4u can sort this out for me but as yet I have no adequate response. If I get this resolved I will happily update my review.

Plants arrived within the 4 days delivered by DPD. All plants present and correct. Parcelled very carefully and by their condition treated with care by DPD. Of course the proof is in the growing but same applies to any plant bought usually costing 10euro to 20e 3 times the price of plants purchased.

Ordered 3 in-door plants, all arrived in 4 days as promised. Packing looked decent. Unfortunately, one of three plants (monstera) came in a poor condition, black spots on leaves, signs of thrips, dry leaf points. Also plant pots dimensions are not labeled correctly. Please improve this, as a nice to have it would be cool if we can request the right matching decorative pots along with the plant. Also 4 days in transit could be too long for some plants, I would gladly pay more for one or two day delivery. This was my first time that I was ordering plants online, Ill stick to local stores from now on.

I bought a tri-coloured Buddleia last autumn, kept it indoors because of the extreme winds we get here. Only one pod produced greenery and this quickly vanished when planted out in May.
The guaranteed refund was refused on grounds that it was wrong to protect the plants from the weather!
Some guarantee. Dishonest, I would say

late arrivals , dead plants and even a fly infestation in my kitchen , coming from holland , suggest use local garden centres as these charlatans , no customer service if an issue except sporadic emails that don’t solve anything for you

I ordered three standard rose bush and a lavander hidcote pack. The three rose bushes were of two different types (2 hybridtea and 1 floribunda) while nothing was mentioned on the website about the possibility of being different (perhaps for them as long as they are pink, they are all the same). Two of the rose bushes and all of the lavander pack were practically dead! I asked a refund for the whole order given that the only thing alive was a rose bush which was supposed to be put along side the other two and by itself is of no use to me and asked for them to collect everything back.
Answer: NO full refund since the third rose bush is still alive (the rest will be refunded) and NO taking back the rubbish plants they have delivered.

Bought a cherry tree over 2.5 week's ago, arrived on time but was tiny and whatever bud's were on the plant out died, still no sign of life on the tree, I emailed their customer service 5 day's ago with a complaint and still no response from them!! Decided to look closer to home and bought a cherry tree double the size & full of bud's for the same price...would I buy or recommend "gardens4you" NO DEFINETLY STAY AWAY

Do not use this company. Ordered a plant as a present for mothers day, website and order confirmation stated 4 days delivery. Plant turned up 6 days later on the Monday, missing mothers day. Emailed customer services, no apologises, just excuses that this is their busy season and that deliveries can take 4-5 days.

The delivery is longer than the four days they say, causing the plants to suffer. My plants arrived in very bad conditions, dehydrated and with broken leaves, I suppose due to poor packaging and shipping conditions.

I ordered amaryllis bulbs before Xmas from Gardens4you two years in a row. The bulbs were good quality and large and arrived promptly. They were competitively priced. The first year I ordered mostly Amaryllis Carmen and 2 Nymph. The Nymph were magnificent. As 2 or 3 Carmen just shot leaves and didnt flower I tried different varieties in 2021, Aphrodite(6), Rillona (2) , Nymph, Showmaster, Rapido, double flowering red..... The Nymph and Showmaster were magnificent, but are only flowering now. The Rillona didnt even sprout a leaf let alone a flower though they seem to be alive. I was refunded for them although the company said they didnt have a three month guarantee. Aphrodite should have had large double flowers 4 of the six have flowered and were single white and pale pink flowered, not what I ordered. After some argument I got a partial refund. I cant really recommend ordering from this company. I can understand bulbs only have a three month guarantee but if you send someone the wrong thing it should be replaced without argument. By Contrast I ordered a minature pear tree from Mr Middleton. When two years later it produced apples I sent them a picture and the order number and they immediately sent me a replacement miniature pear tree.
