Reason why I have been banned?

R.9: Harassment & Abuse
"Discrimination, abusiveness, 'trolling', baiting, toxicity and flaming are not allowed. Discrimination based on race, sex, gender, age, sexual orientation, etc will not be tolerated. NO EXCEPTIONS. 'They started it', 'they deserved it', 'they are n00bs', etc. are not valid excuses.

Swearing is allowed only when not directed at others. Offensive slurs are not allowed."

R.15: Incivility
"GameBanana honors a code of conduct of an older Internet in which it grew up. Members must be civil toward one another. Toxic behavior displayed through content and messages is not allowed. As a rule of thumb, we expect members to communicate with one another as they would in real life."

Yet, in meantime, admins still defend foot fetishists and allow to modders to make more barefoot mods? And admins randomly ban innocent people for no reason like that? Yeah GameBanana is very bad... No wonder Nexus Mods is way and 1000x better than GameBanana... Nexus Mods is more friendly than GameBanana to be honest. Just switch to Nexus Mods... Admins are abusing too much. No wonder GameBanana still sucks since "2001"...

like is encrypted to stop people from viewing what inside them

I had a disappointing and frustrating experience with GameBanana. I downloaded a mod for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild that was explicitly titled and described as CEMU/Wii U compatible (Mod ID: 526522, ‘Textures Full HD pack for CEMU’). After taking over 7 hours to download, i discovered that the contents of the pack were not compatible with CEMU at all, lacking files essential for installation (such as ‘rules.txt’ or the ‘content/’ folder), and in fact being usable only for Switch emulators such as Yuzu/Ryujinx.
I decided to write a negative review on the mod page to warn other users and to point out the discrepancy between the description and the actual content.
My review was based on facts, detailing the specific compatibility problem and time lost. Surprisingly, this review was removed by GameBanana moderation with the reason ‘R.17: Nonsense’, without any clarification or opportunity for meaningful direct appeal.
I find it unacceptable that a factual and helpful review, intended to prevent other users from running into the same misleading compatibility problem, is labeled as ‘nonsense’ and removed. This undermines confidence in the accuracy of mod descriptions on the platform and the review moderation process, preventing users from having complete and reliable information.
I hope GameBanana will review its moderation policies and ensure greater accuracy in mod descriptions to prevent future disappointment for users.

Seriously, in this GameBanana website admins have a SERIOUS problem. They just defend modders who have a foot fetish, make barefoot mods, admins trashed all my comments which isn't even necessary because I'm sure it doesn't break the rules and gagged me for NO reason. So yeah, admins only allow modders to make barefoot mods, but not other serious mods who don't contain foot fetish. Yeah I'm starting to think that admins have a big foot fetish, a big weak for female feet, and that's why admins are defending it and I don't think they take seriously their job. GameBanana just need to get rid from the foot fetishists, admins are so pathetic and lazy... They actually don't care! And I'm 100% sure admins ban people for no reason, but not the modders who only make barefoot mods, that's funny and pathetic at the same time.

I can't tell how many barefoot mods there are on GameBanana, but seriously, admins really need to clean the cringy website. Like, seriously, making barefoot mods everyday doesn't break the rules? LMAO admins are just clowns! And not sure how GameBanana has 2,9 reviews, this is weird and mystery. Seriously admins, why don't you just search "barefoot", filter to newest and you'll see how many barefoot mods there are? Besides you admins don't even care about barefoot mods, foot fetish or something, so why bother trashing my comments and gagging me?! And I know only one modder who keeps making more barefoot mods everyday. It's Bunny0101 and he keeps making often. Seriously, you admins aren't doing your job. You're only doing the WRONG WAY. Change the name from "GameBanana" to "FeetBanana" or "BarefootBanana", it would fit very well with that name since there are so many barefoot mods. By the way, I found a admin who trashed my comments and gagged me for no reason and y'all can see their comments where there are a little arguments on his cringy profile. Devieus, go check him, he's the responsible for this mess. Well all admins are responsible since they allow to modders to make barefoot mods.

For now, I won't recommend GameBanana, bad moderations, admins don't give a dam, admins have a foot fetish, GameBanana is full of feet fetishists and barefoot mods and rules doesn't make sense... Just go Nexus Mods, it's way better than GameBanana. GameBanana makes no sense to exist and the website should be taken down. Oh and I forgot to mention. The admins are too strict. Very strict. They don't even give you a warning or explanations, NEVER! Instant banned or gagged because warning the users is too simple and admins are acting like if they were the cops. I guess the admins don't even know what "warning" does mean. Also, GameBanana is pretty dead and old like DeviantArt, so why you admins keep caring about community? You admins should get a life, go outside, touch grass and find a real job instead doing BS. No wonder people keep disrespect you and the community. Instead of that, you should trash all the barefoot mods, ban modders who have a foot fetish and you should ban the feet fetishists as well. You admins disgust me. Get a real job. And one more thing. You admins are gay.

I recently logged back in after 1-3 years to see almost everything I submitted trashed/deleted without any valid reason. I re-read the rules and everything I submitted followed the site's extremely strict rules. I requested an untrash but got completely ignored. The only good thing about this site is the customizability. I do not recommend.

After requesting the deletion of my fnf mods from my old scrubbed accounts I got permanent ban for "Abuse of the site's Scrubber feature". Rules listed for the ban reason are R.13 "Multiple accounts per member are not allowed." and R.20 "Content may be withheld or trashed and members gagged or banned at the sole discretion of top level site admins.". I made 4 appeals where I explained that I was scrubbing my accounts only if I have no use for this platform and that I was creating new account to use platform again. There is no option for full deletion of the account available. I also mentioned that if admins understand my position, want me to continue upload new updates for my mod without any problems and my future mistakes they should unban me or delete this banned account if they cannot accept my appeal. They denied my appeal and rejected both options. They just illegally keep my information on their site without letting users like me to fully manage their privacy. Why would they even add option for ban appeal if this option does nothing special? Why I couldn't and still can't access my scrubbed accounts to avoid such situations? Why account deletion for long inactivity and users' willing isn't a thing? This is a really deep mystery.

This site is a joke. Me and my brother both use gamebanana, so we obviously use two separate accounts. Suddenly I got banned for "having multiple accounts". Why? Because we're on the same IP address. When I submitted a ban appeal, they didn't even respond. I really hope there will be a new competitor against Gamebanana and Nexus soon, because both sites have terrible support.

I think people are a bit too harsh on this site. It functions well, better than sites like nexus in my opinion. Site moderation is good, you usually don't see many low quality mods on the front page. You WILL see some more "interesting content" from time to time and there isn't much you can do about that. I think they could handle user behavior a bit better (I'll never forget you, tf2 swissmas discourse of 2023) but overall the site managers do a good job of making sure people behave. All in all, this is a solid site, I mostly use it for half life and team fortress mods, but there is a plethora of other games on there, from old to new and even some that are mods themselves. If you wanna get into modding, give this site a shot.

I've been using GB since it was created. It wasn't all that bad at first, but in the recent years, it's gone to complete crap and and the moderation is even worse than that.

Completely Terrible.
My mod was trashed because it was labeled under nonsense, even though I've worked on it for 6 months, and none of the term "nonsense" is present in this mod.

Give us new none Liberal modding websites, no seriously this isn't funny, we need freedom of expression within the modding community, Etika skin was banned without reason, I miss it so much cause he was such a chad, joke skins like Osama is also banned including Gandy like what the heck???

A video game website where users can upload custom-made mods. Unfortunately, site staff act in corrupt and depraved ways, including but not limited to removing comments that criticize them and even removing criticizing comments on their individual mods. "mimo4e/mecchi" is one of these individuals. Oddly enough, the same individuals that censor users on their site and remove critiquing comments on their mod pages then proceed to host Patreons, where they ask users for money in exchange for their mods, and create posts complaining about not receiving enough money.

A highly corrupt website with arbitrary enforcement of rules. If you must access to do anything besides download a mod, ensure you are connected to a VPN and do not provide any personal details.
