They took the money the same day I order. More than 2 months after I am still waiting for my order and they never answered me. Funny thing is that I didn't want to order on amazon and give a chance to a company which seemed ethical. At the end I just find the worst company ever.

Awful customer service. Ordered 2 sets of dumbells and they shorted me a single dumbell. They charged me for 4, sent me 3. When I emailed them it took days to get a response. When. They did they sent me the confirmation shipping. No kidding! I received the order you just didn't give me what you charged me. Once I did get a rep to respond the finally refunded me. But won't let me return to single dumbell. I can't order another since they are out of stock. Plus, the once on stock they are black and the one I have is orange. This was supposed to be a gift.

I had placed a single transaction through Amazon Pay and received confirmation emails from both Gaiam and Amazon. They placed five separate holds for the same amount on my account. I sent an email to their customer service. The customer service rep initially claimed the purchase could not have been confirmed on their end. After I gave them proof of the confirmation email I then received a sarcastic email in response that made a point to reference my previous email in a mocking manner. The representative repeatedly placed the blame on me for not putting in the correct billing. This is not possible because the billing is through Amazon pay ( I was prompted to use this option at checkout) which has my card and correct billing on file. I use this card all the time. The correct order has not been shipped so I then requested a refund and the rep still decided to tell me that I should have got an email telling me that the transaction was denied by a second payment processing system they use and my bank allowed the holds. This does not add up when you consider they placed five holds for one transaction. I guess their reps forgot customer service is meant to inform and assist customers with their concerns and not argue with them. I like their products but at this time they don't allow customer service over the phone and so I will look for a different company for my yoga and workout needs in the future.

I tried giving them no stars, but it wouldn't let me. Seems to be an ongoing complaint but their customer service is terrible. "At Gaiam Europe, we work tirelessly to make our customers happy. Our customer support team is as passionate as you are for fitness and yoga. We don't just talk about it. We practice it. So go ahead; reach out. We are here to help. " is the biggest lie ever. Everytime I email them, they reply with the same automated email.. as if you gave them your money and now you're talking to yourself, banging your head against the wall. DO NOT ADVISE ONLINE ORDERING

I ordered a birthday gift 2 weeks ago, even paid the $11 for expedited shipping. 3 days before my sisters birthday, they sent me an email saying they canceled my order. I have contacted them 4 times now and they reply with an automated response that claims they will get back to you within 72 hours..... it has been 6 days since my initial refund request. Absolute worst company to trust with your money.

If I didnot have to select a start I definitely would not. Gaiam has the worst customer service, The worst return policy, the most disrespectful employees and flimsy products. Their 100% happy guarantee is a complete lie.

I ordered a bolster over >16 days ago.. The order was delayed in getting out and then I inquired about 1 week into the wait with inquiring someone cancelled out the entire order refunded me. I then begged that I desperately needed this bolster with quarantine and CS said it's still heading out 'don't worry' but I'll have to repay. Of course ready to do that 'BUT' refund was PENDING. Well I go on thinking bolster's here in a couple more days as I'm in the same state of fulfillment. WRONG-O I had to inquire yet again to learn that not only is No Bolster on its way ~ the bolster I bought is now sold out (well it's going to customers now in queue ahead of me-hello I was 1st? and I may now have 1 of 2 other colors) for a discount..(by this point it should be free especailly if I'm not getting what I ordered ahead of the line who will get what I ordered?? WTH.. So then I proceed for the only CS options given & ask for tracking..well 4 days later and over 4 asks today for tracking & 0 forthcoming.. I made another mistake ordering more props with this undesirable colored bolster coming my way and again nada no emails no responses no tracking #s.. This my 1st ordering experience here and I can honestly say Never Been Treated sooo terribly wrong.. I'll have to double review and let you know if anything ever shows.. Elevated stress here to get destress props.

I found the Gaiam page randomly as I was searching for a Yoga Ball Chair, it was rated very high. It worked flawlessly for almost a whole year and then a piece broke on the base. I still had the email from the initial purchase so I replied to it with my issue not expecting anything. Brittany got back to me so quickly and asked for a picture of the defect. I sent the picture and the next day she had placed an order for the parts I needed to. These days it is impossible to get good service so I felt compelled to leave this review. I am 100% satisfied with this company's products and service, thank you!

The quality of their items are subpar. I’ve submitted a request for an exchange because the wobble balls for my classroom were poor quality. One of them got a hole, which is supposed to be difficult to do and the other 3 are completely different in size.
All I wanted was an exchange and they were uncooperative. Will never use this company again.

Terrible terrible customer service. We are an orthodontic office with 4 locations and have purchased 24 of their balance ball chairs to use in our clinics. We have had 4 or 5 of the support bars snap. Upon asking for replacement ones they sent us plastic support bars instead of metal ones and in turn we've had multiple incidents where employees have fallen out of those specific chairs. They refuse to admit that their product is faulty and also refuse to make it right by refunding or replacing the broken ones. When I called, I waited for an answer for 20 minutes and then got hung up on. When I emailed asking for replacement metal support bars, the lady (Brittany) argued with me back and forth saying that she was 100% sure that the broken bars are as a result of misuse and that she could only offer to send me more of the plastic support bars or I could purchase a whole new chair and it would come with the metal bar. All this to say, DO NOT buy anything from this company. Their products are poorly made and their customer service is appalling,

This company has a bad product and they know it. Because of this, they don't supply return shipping for their tiny, short, unusable balance chairs. You basically have to just throw it out and chalk up the purchase to a bad internet experience.

I bought their app two years ago for one time cost of $4.99. Didn't need a log in. Every update, there's an issue that involves them wanting me to "join." My husband said they realized their old business model didn't work. But why make customers who supported you before you expanded with more offerings than one person can even digest suffer? Now I can't access classes in my "studio," but even when I was accessing them, every time I finished, there was an invite to Tweet or post on Facebook my thoughts about the class. This whole set up seems to be the antithesis of what yoga is all about. It's quite sad. Don't support this company and don't buy Yoga Studio.

They are so horrible. I bought a yoga mat and gifted as family member X'mas gift. When The box is open, we found the mat is defective. I contacted the company the 12/27. No one answered. I emailed them got an auto response said their office evacuated. Their shipping label said no return is allowed after 30 day and it was about to expired. I had no choice but to spend spent $11.30 shipped it back to them. I sent them an email informed them that i had to ship the defective item back. Got a response said they will contacted me with48 hours. after 10 X 48 hours passed, I finally reached a live person said they don't want to refund my money. I told them I will dispute the charges. I AM VERY SURE IF I DO NOT CONTACT THEM AGAIN AND AGAIN I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO GET MY MONEY BACK. I lost the shipping MONEY due to gaiam shipped me a defective mat. Thanks for a lovely Xmas gift. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!!!

I received an incredibly expensive yoga mat for Christmas that is insanely slippery. It is so slick to the point that it would be dangerous for me to actually attempt a practice using it. I emailed customer service asking if they had a protective coating or such that needed to be washed off. They offered no apology, no explanation, no solutions. Simply, maybe wash it and if you don't like it, return it. I feel awful for my mother in law who spent a great deal of money assuming this would be a great christmas gift for me and I can barely use it. For obvious reasons I cannot return it and Gaiam have been no help.

This is currently based on Gaiam’s shipping. I ordered 2 yoga mats and within 24 hours a shipping label had been created, HOWEVER, the items didn’t actually get to the shipper (Fedex) from Gaiam until a full 7 days later and the shipping is so slow I wont have the items for another 2 weeks and they were gifts, which I now won’t have in time. I won’t be ordering from them again.

I bought 5 yoga straps from Gaiam. I received 5 yoga SOCKS. I have not been able to get a hold of anyone in customer service...I seriously think that there is no customer service. I tried calling, leaving a call back number, voicemail, email...NOTHING! This is unacceptable. Shop elsewhere.

We tried to redeem a gift certificate that we received as a wedding gift several years ago. We had been told by customer service representatives years ago that the gift certificate would never expire. Upon attempting to redeem it today -- and despite several emails back and forth, they refused to honor the gift certificate. My reputation isn't worth $100, but apparently Gaiam's is. They look like they have good products, but the customer does not come first for this company, so beware that if you end up having concerns, they will likely be looking out for themselves more than their customers.

Ordered mat for a gift they mailed me a rod from another product and no mat even though the box says mat. They are telling me it will take 10 more days to mail me out the right product. Well I guess he's not getting his birthday gift so I got to go buy more gift and I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!!!!!! I WOULDNT EVEN GIVE THEM ONE STAR!

I recently found this website and unlike many others that pass away in a few clicks, I say and read articles on this website for about 2 hours.
Usually I'm lucky if I can find one article per website that is relevant to me personally and resonates with my interests, but Gaiam has so many.
My favorite section was the "solution guides" with practical tips ranging from how to make a compost pile to what you need to do to detox your body.
The articles seem to be updated regularly. It's nice to feel sure the info is up to date and relevant.
Some websites address the fitness side of Yoga while others emphasize the spiritual aspect. Gaiam does both.
I live in a small town where it's hard to find quality organic cotton products. I order some pillowcases and towels from them a few months ago. The cost was reasonable and I am pleased with the quality.
