⭐ 1-Star Review – Frigidaire Canada
We purchased a brand-new Frigidaire oven in Canada, and from the very beginning it has had issues. Unfortunately, what followed has been six months of frustration, wasted time, and complete lack of accountability.
For six months, we have been trying to resolve this matter. Customer service is outsourced overseas, and every representative we speak to appears unfamiliar with the file and unable to provide real solutions. We repeatedly had to re-explain the same issue over and over again.
We waited three months for a technician appointment that never materialized. After calling again, we were told someone would come on January 27. No one showed up. No call. No notice. Nothing.
This is a vacation property located five hours away from our primary residence. We had to travel specifically for this service appointment — which never happened. The inconvenience and cost to us has been significant.
We requested either a replacement unit or a refund. This was immediately dismissed without consideration. We asked to speak to a supervisor three separate times and were told each time that a supervisor would call us back. No one ever did.
The lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer care is unacceptable for a major appliance brand.
Consumers in Canada should be extremely cautious when purchasing from Frigidaire. If something goes wrong, do not expect timely support or proper follow-up.
