Very bad service. Very reluctantly sticking to their own terms of their own contract. I have nothing but disappointment. Especially as it is a costly membership

I have tried dating websites before, when I was very vulnerable. Right from the start I have found Friends1st very different. Firstly I was vetted, so everyone else must be, then I had a professional shoot for my profile pictures. I had help in creating an enhanced profile and I am so impressed with all the literature and offers of help being put my way. I have not seen any profiles yet so can not comment on that but looking forward to my first ones at the beginning of September.

They are good at advertising their business to lure one into believing they are genuine Christian dating agent. The reality is a scam - profiles sent are non existent and far from matching my stated preferences.
Don't make a mistake to pay a year's subscription as you won't get your money back if you are not satisfied with their substandard and deceitful service and want to terminate.

When I joined, I found the staff at Friends first, warm and welcoming.
They took me through the process, with professionalism and I felt comfortable with the membership options.
Please bear in mind, this is a Christian website.
I thoroughly recommend Friends first.

If the Christian faith is important in finding someone to share it with Friends First is the organisation to choose.

From initial interviews to ID checks, photoshoots and Professionally written profiles you can relax and feel time and care has been taken to make your dating experience the best it can be.

Throughout the journey there are weekly podcasts, a monthly magazine, personal support via phone or email and publications available for the season you are in.

Everything is designed to enable you to be the perfect fit for someone just as much as them being ready for you.

If you are nervous or cautious about dating but keen to start the journey Friends First will help you through the process and restore your faith in relationships as well as growing your faith in Jesus.

I would highly recommend them.

Two things to start with, firstly I think the quality of service that Friends1st is incredibly high and secondly, I haven't, yet, found someone.

It understandable that a service like this will likely get good reviews from those for whom it has worked and bad or average ones from those for whom it didn't work. However, no dating organisation can be held responsible for whether or not you find a life partner. Online dating can be brutal and fairly lonely. Especially if the majority of your friends are with someone. As a guy, I've not had much success on previous sites I've tried. Friends1st is a breath of fresh air. You are not simply left to your only devices; the team is on hand with support and advice. Regularly sending out hints and tips. I've received 2 phone calls in the few months. I've been with the service just to check in and see how things are going. On a couple of occasions, I've reached out to ask advice about specific situations, it's great to speak to those who have experience. You definitely feel like they are on your side, cheerleading you and wanting you to meet someone. It is of course in their interest that it is successful, however I’ve never felt that their hope for me was anything other than genuine

From the conversations before I signed up, to the help and advice on the profile to now they have walked the line between professionalism and personal with a great deal of deftness. If we see this in the same light as other "services" then they would and should get high marks. The responsibility in responding to the matches, in deciding who to contact is down to me. F1st cannot be held responsible for the outcome only for the opportunity. I've had more conversations, more interactions on Friends1st than any other dating site. It has been an overwhelmingly positive experience and one that I've felt supported throughout. I don’t know whether I will find someone through the service, but however I meet them I don’t doubt it will in part be thanks to the support and encouragement of Friends1st.

If you are a Christian guy, finding it hard to get anywhere on the usual suspect sites I would highly recommend Friends1st. In my case it has lifted some of the self-doubt, allowed me to get to know several women and help me understand with greater clarity what I'm looking for.

Charlatans, don't touch with a barge pole .Dreadful rip off service ,constant mistakes .I wasted my money on an upfront yrs membership and just recieved a handful of unsuitable profiles .Some profiles weren't even active .Now the last two months as I messaged the owners that I am unsatisfied and don't want anymore to do with them they keep sending messages saying your monthly membership payment hasn't gone through. Well good job I have a new card or they would've taken money without consent as ive told them they know full well I was and never will be a monthly member .You have more chance finding a partner by God making another Adam for you .

Worst. Waste of money

I will highly recommend Friends1st to anyone looking to join a Genuine and trusted dating site.

From the first time I connected Friends1st , I was impressed. The approach, transparency , allowed me time to process my ideas. Amazing teamwork, very supportive. I higher raccomando the Friends1st if you really wish meet a serious person as they are fantastic team guiding people throughout new pathway.

Friends first is transparent and full of tips to help and guide you through what can be a daunting step to take. The great thing, is that it starts with Christian men and women who are serious about meeting new people. The rest is up to you, and there’s plenty of material to work on yourself too. Im glad I’ve made the decision to join.

I am so impressed by the standard of workmanship, genuineness and time and efforts invested by the team at Friends1st. Their approach made me feel i am not walking this journey alone. I did go through a coaching session with one of the experts, at the end, I felt i was never the same. I do receive and look forward to encouragement videos from Katherine. They go deep especially when she talks about missing out. She does so with so much breadth and precision I feel I am growing in the way i look at situations and also self examine. In a nutshell, I believe with this level of support, I am moving in the right direction.

Money was deducted from my account,because the fact that one became a subscriber on joining was buried in the small print. Absolutely no satisfaction from staff, including the founder. Caveat Emptor- nothing Christian here- it's a business I was told.

20th March 2025 I was e-mailed by a lady signed up like myself to friends first.
I had a visitation aged 6 and that experience resulted in my instantly recognising this individual as "the one" I had hoped to be with since that age.

This, in effect, introduction agency made the marriage to come on 22nd November 2025 possible. Well, God did, friendsfirst were the efficient vehicle.

Unsafe. They promised that they intervirwed everyone first, and after 2 hours I realised my personal details were publically displayed and I was being harrassed. What they say and what they do are not consistent. Take care!

Since I registered with Friends 1st 6 weeks ago, I have started dating an amazing Christian man. Actually I didn't meet him through Friends 1st but it was their expert advice which inspired me to look for potential partners in several different places and then led me to notice and invite out a man that I was interested in. He is at the same church as me but previously I would not have considered him or had the confidence to make the first move myself.

Please be wary of engaging with this company. My son has autism OCD dyspraxia and social phobia. He is classed as a vulnerable person and lives in supported living. He showed an interest in friends first then decided it wasn't for him. They then contacted him repeatedly to get him to join. Due to my sons incapacity to fully understand what he was getting himself into he finally agreed. He lives on benefits as he is unable to work . The dating site friends 1st is totally not right for my son. He's sent two profiles one in north Scotland and the other on the south coast. He lives in the north midlands. Doesnt drive and is on a very limited income. He wants to cancel the £36 a month fee and he now understands this is his living expense money. I on his behalf have pleaded begged almost to cancel his membership. Several emails and phone conversations have passed between me and Kathryn (company owner I believe) explaining fully my sons position. Not one shred of understanding or empathy or care even has been shown with them insisting he has to pay his membership. I find their whole attitude disgusting. There should be some lee way in cases such as my son's. He is now trapped into a completely useless dating site for him until next April. We as his family were unaware he had joined even though they say we must have know!!! Unbelievable. Please be wary if you have sons/daughters in a similar situation. Through my son's inability to fully understand the undertaking he is basically giving them £36 a month. Christian values!!! Not the Christian values I was brought up with.

As a Christian woman I’ve been very reluctant to write a review about Friends1st as although my experience of the company has been completely disappointing I didn’t feel it would be honourable to throw them under the bus. Upon reflection I believe I owe it those of you out there that have been taken in by the front end sales tactics to think twice. Please dont bother signing up and wasting your money, the quality of service, communication and profiles are few and poor. I regret going against my better judgement and signing up although initially i had a zoom meeting with a member of staff and was quite impressed with the offerings. Please note that the moment you verbally agree to the services this acts as a legally binding contract which you cannot cancel! I definitely would NOT recommend this company under any circumstances. Most of the profiles I did receive were of men that were MUCH older and totally unsuitable so I’m guessing they don’t have many profiles so will send you the few unsuitable ones to meet their quota. I was a few days late with a payment after cancelling my direct debit and was threatened with legal action. I decided to pay up for the year to avoid any further threats and have had NO further communication from Friends1st. Extremely disappointing and is not able to deliver on its promises.

I am so grateful that I took the leap and paid up for membership with FF. I don’t know about you but dating or joining a dating agency is a daunting thought especially in the current climate. I am so glad that one of your customers service gentleman who is a really lovely man spoke to me not once or twice and encouraged me with his words of wisdom and a Christian spirit of approach. Talking to him I saw and felt a genuine Christian caring agency.
Since signing up, all the girls have been very helpful, communicative and on the ball with everything. The materials I received were fantastic and really informative in this area of looking for a soulmate. I look forward to communicating more and more with you guys as I pursue this journey of finding a soulmate . And the photographer, what a lovely person he is! He made me feel at ease and took some very lovely photos of myself!
I am really excited and looking forward to receiving my profiles. I am very confident that with the help and support of such a caring and wonderful team I shall make friends in FF and that my future husband is just round the corner 🤩.
I would recommend FF to anyone Christian looking for a friend or a soulmate for that matter!

I have found FriendsFirst to be very genuine and the focus on the faith connection is fantastic. I feel it is a very special and professional dating organisation. The information pack was very useful and gives very rounded advice. There is good back-up with a video every week about how to improve my dating technique. I am delighted to say that I have met a lovely lady, the most beautiful woman in the world, who has changed my life. I recommend FriendsFirst to anyone who wants to find a very special person.
