Formby Cycles Arvostelua 6

I took my bike to Formby Cycles for a repair on the 23rd January 2026. The bike was quickly fixed at a very reasonable cost. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. I was back out cycling on my road bike thanks to Formby Cycles

I called at Formby cycles on the 02/03/2024,to look at purchasing a new full suspension mountain bike and was met by huge choice and availability.
The store is very clean, workshop on show as part of the counter, so you can see you bike being worked on.
Staff are so helpful, nothing too much trouble, very knowledgeable and helped me make some choices for accessories, which suited me rather than an expensive alternative. The staff are relaxed and you are left to browse, but advice is always available to answer questions and help. Thank you for helping me get my new bike, your help and advice. Thom.

Got back into cycling 3 yrs ago and from the moment I stepped into the shop I've been treated to great service with staff going out of their way with a friendly attitude and help..im not very knowledgeable on how to get the bike back on the road but these lads know their stuff

I purchased a bike in February from Evans cycles in Southport.
The staff assured me the bike was perfect for me. I got as far as the train station when I realised the bike just wasn't what I needed. Handle bars were too low and it felt very uncomfortable. Rang the store and was told, handle bars were fixed and as I'd ridden the bike outside there was nothing they could do! So the bike I'd just paid £450 for has been sitting in the garage.
On 19 July I went to Formby Cycles to buy a bike that would suit. Spoke to Phil, explained my situation. No problem, he said, bring it in, I'll higher the handle bars etc.
I took the bike in the following day, to my delight, within 20 minutes, Phil had sorted out the problem.
The bike is now perfect for me.
I struggle to understand why Evans cycles staff didn't offer to do this.
Phil was absolutely lovely, and so helpful.

What a fantastic range of cycles to choose from called in on the off chance and picked a bike
The team said it would be ready the next day I turned up for collection and it was ready
They insisted I had a test ride and adjusted the bike to match my needs
Great service from formby cycles I will return soon to purchase clothing and a new helmet

I recently bought a Giant Revolt Advanced from Formby Cycles. It was shipped via DHL to my home. After hours of adjustments, I just couldn’t get the gears to set correctly. I ended up driving 2 hours to the Formby to have the store set up the bike. After a couple attempts to set up the bike, it was determined there was significant damage to the crank and possibly other damage which was causing the issue. The shop showed great integrity by offering me a full refund without any hassle. They didn’t have an alternate bike in my price range but offered a 25% off a much nicer bike (which I kick myself now for not taking). They also gave me a significant discount on some accessories to compensate for the long drive.

I would recommend this shop.
