If you’re considering joining the “Forex for Women” trading forum, I urge you to think twice. While the concept of a women-focused trading community is appealing, the actual experience within this forum is far from empowering or productive.
The forum revolves around a trading strategy touted as highly effective, but many members, including myself, have found it to be anything but successful. Instead of addressing the shortcomings of their approach, the founders deflect responsibility, blaming members’ supposed lack of discipline or poor “mindset” for their losses. This is both unprofessional and dismissive, especially for paying subscribers who are genuinely trying to improve their skills.
One glaring issue is the refusal to provide raw backtesting data for the strategy. Members have repeatedly requested this data to verify the claims made by the founders, but those requests are ignored or met with hostility. In a community that preaches accountability and growth, this lack of transparency is a massive red flag.
The behavior of the forum’s founders is particularly troubling. When members question the strategy or present valid evidence that refutes its effectiveness, they are met with defensive, aggressive responses. This includes talking down to members and outright gaslighting them, suggesting their losses are purely due to personal failings rather than the strategy’s shortcomings.
Perhaps the most concerning practice is the censorship of dissent. Posts questioning the strategy or presenting contradictory evidence are swiftly deleted. Members who persist in asking questions are often gaslit into believing they are “negative” or “not coachable,” fostering a toxic environment where constructive criticism is stifled.
“Forex for Women” could have been a safe, supportive space for women traders, but its current state is far from that ideal. The lack of transparency, the unaccountable leadership, and the toxic culture make it a poor investment of both time and money.
If you’re looking for a trading community, I recommend seeking out groups that encourage open dialogue, provide verifiable data, and genuinely support their members. Unfortunately, “Forex for Women” does not meet these criteria.
Super upsetting experience. I'm not usually one to write reviews but really felt like I had to warn women from joining this group and losing all their money! Please avoid!
I did learn the bare minimum about trading from joining this group. However, I am finding that the founders are increasingly manipulative and feel like they are exploiting their members' trust. Their strategy does not work, I have backtested it and followed it to a T. They know this, which is why they keep changing things about it. I hope the women in the group read these reviews and realise they are being used as guinea pigs for a random strategy they came up with as a way to sell conference tickets and their annual membership. Oh and since convincing everyone to get their annual membership, they've also reduced their teaching to pretty much nothing with hints about increasing prices for those that want more "mentorship"...
I was a paying member for quite a while. I had no success. I thought I was just terrible because I followed everything they said. After reading the reviews maybe it wasn’t me. If any former members have any other groups that would helpful I would love to join!
I have been a member of Forex for women for a few months and the results are not promising. I have prior trading experience and expected this to be a great add on.
The pros are I did learn a few skills as far as setting trades and taking profits and the community is supportive.
Cons, there is definitely an MLM type feeling where they are always trying to hype up the latest and greatest thing they will be releasing.
The strategy, oh the strategy. It changes on the regular. Just when you get one down, they change it up, again. I never left trading in my demo account because the plan is just not there. Only down 5% which is not terrible and this group could be a good thing, if it was not so scattered.
The courses, they offer definitely need improvement and I thought the book club would be a neat thing, and the books are decent picks but the discussion, not so much. The women who are successful in here have done so, by, um using their own strategy.
I am adjusting my 5 star review to a 2 star review. After joining FFW, seeing the possibilities, and then continuously losing trade after trade, I decided to see what else is out there. I’ve found a couple of FREE communities that teach scientifically backed strategies to get you a 70-90% win rate. This stuff is not new, there is no secret strategy, and I think it’s a red flag when people charge you to learn, don’t teach fundamentals (like support/resistance/patterns/candle types/etc.), and continuously adjust their strategy. Amanda also never shows her P&L statements and I’m pretty sure she’s making way more from this community than she is trading. I do like her teaching style, and she’s the reason I found my passion for trading, but I’m much happier in the free trading communities I’ve joined than FFW.
You can backtest this daily timeframe "system" starting on different dates and you will get very different profitability results. I'd bet money that they are picking and choosing sets of trades that are favorable and will ignore that this doesn't work if you have even a slightly different set of trades. Don't be fooled.
They also regularly remove posts where people are even slightly catching onto this or talk more in depth about their own backtest results.
I can also see signs that they're likely going to charge much more for full access to whatever strategy updates they're going to release once they have all of their "data". Like an even more private, premium group.
EDIT: Yep! These folks strung along all of the members for months promising this compounding plan only to lock it behind a more premium pay wall. And when making this announcement, they couldn't even bother to put together a presentation. It's just the founder's husband talking at us and trying to sell us these upgrades. Just silly and unprepared. Not to mention the absolutely ridiculous cost they're trying sell these "journeys" for.
Changing from 2* to 1* because although it did introduce and get me started with trading Forex which I'm very passionate about now and making a professional career out of, almost everything Amanda teaches with such confidence was a load of rubbish and trading pseudoscience..
I still watch the free "lessons" (free waste of time) on Mondays just to see what bogus she is pushing since i left. In one video she bragged about growing an account 2% in a month....which is a very mediocre profit and had me raising one eyebrow
The more i learn, the more i realize how almost everything was a lie Amanda invented, after one week I should of left but wasted 5 months learning trading pseudoscience
The way she teaches trading is backwards and can't make you money....they hype it up far too much and teach you to trade a "strategy" which appears good in theory but in reality is flawed
They were teaching to trade on the 4hr timeframe so it took an absurdly long time (days to weeks) for a trade to play out which was terrible as a beginner, it took forever to see results and most of the time it didn't work.
The strategy sounds good in theory, especially when lacking background knowledge, but its the opposite. No technical analysis apart from a flimsy look at price action without understanding it beyond the surface, using fractals for stoploss placement which lost most trades because again it sounds good in theory but in practice is terrible and now I understand why
There's the unhealthy aspect of them telling you to "just try again" if you lose because it's all "mindset" and you're "following the system" and if you lose "you did nothing wrong and followed the system but the market decided no, so pat yourself on the back and be proud" and you will eventually catch "that big trend".... Basically telling you to keep throwing money away in slow motion and to bank on a big trend that may not even come, never admit the strategy is the problem
Trading isn't gambling, they turn it into gambling. Amanda doesn't teach even the basic technicals such as swap fees, pips or lots that are vital to success because she thinks you don't need to know. She covered margin briefly and incorrectly, I remember I was slightly alarmed when she said she doesn't know how brokers make money and she "thinks they make money when we lose trades" meaning she doesn't understand what happens when you trade (you buy something, the value changes and you sell it again at a higher or lower price). Brokers make money from fees, spread is another thing she vaguely covered once
The most unhinged thing she was teaching is not caring about high impact news "Im not letting the news dictate my entries"
Something bothering me is the claim of "we are on a much better journey than them" and "it takes a trader at least 6 months to even begin to understand a strategy, but we taught you in an hour" which is completely untrue. It doesn't take anyone 6 months to begin to understand a strategy...but beginners don't know this, they talk as if they are making life so much easier for you by taking out all the hard stuff and talk as if they are teaching you something powerful and amazing. They don't mention that they didn't get rich using what they teach, they got rich from scalping with different strategies kept behind a paywall from their ex MLM IM academy
Mostly I feel the worst for the other students in Skool because they are so full of hope and determination, they have so much confidence in this but wont realize for a long time as their trades very slowly lose
An blessing in disguise happened which i'm so grateful for as it led me to break free from the box FFW put me in, they led hundreds of students to the exact same prop firm following the same low win rate strategy, they all won the same trade and got flagged as copy trading and the firm gave everyone a second chance but only with a different strategy because they couldn't have hundreds of accounts all winning the exact same trade. Basically I had to learn a different strategy because I already bought the challenge and I'm so glad this happened because this is when i started learning how to trade properly and started seeing real success. FFW had their much hyped up conference and Amanda unveiled her much hyped new strategy, I took a break from FFW for a few weeks to learn a different strategy to pass my challenge and it began to expose all the many flaws in what I learned at FFW
When the training call was released showing the new strategy, I looked at my screen in disbelief because it was even worse than the original. It was so much worse that I decided to cancel my membership on the spot
After leaving and learning elsewhere I get more annoyed each day at the nonsense I was being taught and time i wasted, i actually had to unlearn everything because it was a very distorted version of how trading actually works.
Strategy has changed AGAIN!
False advertising!
Amanda just put up a tiktok talking about how far your profits would be if you compounded 3% per trade……. This is a joke, All her trades are at a 1:2 ratio. So the 3% is just to get people in?
Maybe god told her that advertising 3% to bring in new paying members then giving a strategy with a 40% with rate with only a 2% r:r was the ethical way to go.
I agree with a lot of the more negative reviews here. There is a lot of overpromising and underdelivering in the group. The mindset stuff is used to push ppl into a direction of never questioning the leaders or the system, or you just have a "bad mindset" etc. Great way to never have anyone be real about their losses. I stayed about 3 months and lost more money with their system then I gained. I understand I was new at it, but I didn't find it a good experience overall. I think more realistic based thinking and strategies would be healthier for new traders. A lot of the stuff going on was just hype and sales for the course.
I brought real concerns to Amanda about how she was selling ppl into the course and how a lot of the ppl in there really needed the money and the breakthrough (they were desperate, and she was making big promises). I thought that the almost cult like way they were going about it was a bit dangerous. She was receptive to what I said, but I still see from the reviews and the fb group posts that it may be kinda the same. If you do join in with them for a few months, learn slowly and test.
I have been with FFW for 8 months. In that time, the cost has increased due to a platform change, but the amount of instruction has decreased to less than half of what we got back in March.
We were told the decrease is because we asked for it, but I can assure you no one was asking for less! That sounds more like gaslighting than anything.
The strategy has had 3 major changes in my time, which makes it seem like Amanda is learning alongside us rather than teaching a well-tested, proven strategy. I kept staying for the “next big life-changing news” until I realized it was merely good marketing and NOT changing my life.
Most women are not making money, quite the opposite. And while this is expected for new traders who lack basic trading knowledge, Amanda’s response to anyone who states that they are losing is very nasty. It seemed like anyone who questioned anything, even politely, disappeared from the group rather quickly.
The more I see conferences and merch and special recordings to pay extra for, the more I realized we were providing the passive income for FFW, not their trading.
Paying member since 2023 but this is my last month.
I have seen the drastic changes in Amanda. From an empathetic person, she has become such a narcissist. She doesn’t have any empathy for the women losing money using her ever-changing and non-profitable system.
She uses religion to lace the poison she is serving and unfortunately many women in her group are blinded to this. And I don’t blame them. When you’re so hopeful for something to work, you put all your faith in 1 person, so you refuse to believe that person has faults or you’re being scammed.
I was so disappointed to see her time and time again say in her social media responses that there are people out her creating fake profiles to drop 1 star reviews.
Ask yourself, why would anyone want to be bothered to come on here and type out long reviews begging others to stay away from FFW? There is 0 benefit to anyone doing this.
None of us are her competitors, none of us are envious of her work. By leaving 1 star reviews here, no one us can get back the money we have lost. So Amanda, please stop lying and saying these reviews are fake.
Ladies, I know how much you want this to work. But FFW isn’t it. I suggest looking at other mentors who can show you profit statements, at the minimum.
Amanda is good at marketing, that’s where her money is coming in from. That’s how she’s paying for her house, her shopping sprees and funding her lifestyle. The other 2 people bring nothing to the table except to remind us to be grateful and thankful for Amanda and her 100% profitable system.
I can assure you, as someone still part of the FFW community, not even 1% are consistently making profits with Amanda’s system.
$35 isn’t a lot of money to gain knowledge and learn from someone reputable but $35 is a lot of money to be scammed by someone who is trying to figure out her trading system while using her members as guinea pigs.
Amazing women doing amazing things! I have learned so much! If you are a negative Nelly this is not the group for you. So grateful to have joined!

This is an online school. At the time of review, the tuition is $35 a month with no contract, cancel anytime. There is a main instructor who teaches Forex (swing trading, foreign currency pairs), and two other instructors who run Mindset and Book Club classes. There are 3 live calls a week, and all the recorded classes are saved, so you can start anywhere and go through the curriculum at your own pace. It is a training classroom. They don't invest for you or do trades on your behalf. They teach you a skill, and you can stay in as long as you like to be a part of the community and attend the weekly calls. The books in the book club are money mindset, popular authors on Amazon. It's a very positive atmosphere, the classes are short and easy to understand. I have no prior trading or finance experience. My own education is M.Sc. level but in the medical field. It is well-taught and students are well-supported. Great value for money. There are women's and men's classes taught separately, so women don't feel intimidated about learning a skill that's in a predominately male-dominated industry. I highly recommend it. When I told my family & friends about it, some of them immediately told me it's a scam: a course can't be a scam. You are being taught a skill you are 100% responsible for using yourself. If you think it's a scam, then you probably aren't intelligent enough to study trading, as there is a bit of a learning curve. It requires pattern recognition skills and a positive mindset and emotional maturity to be able to handle trading in a market and learning how to take losses as well as wins. I've been in there for 3 months and I am learning alot and moving from practicing in a demo account to a live account. Thanks for reading! Good wishes~

I was in the group for 7 months before finally leaving. I gave Amanda the benefit of the doubt for a LONG time. It turns out she only has a beginner level understanding of trading and she’s not trained or skilled in teaching. She’s extremely manipulative and toxic and that’s what the group has become. There are much better traders to learn from on YouTube. Pick one and learn for free.
I had high hopes for this learning community and would have loved it to be long term journey but it didn’t work out that way. What is lacking in technical strategy and market fundamentals is made up with so much hype. The constant “this is so amazing” and fawning etc from the leaders and large numbers of members is just so overwhelming when all I wanted was to learn the skill of trading and gain understanding of the markets. I was in and out of the group within two months but my trading journey is far from over. I’m pleased to have found a different community that teaches a solid strategy, without all the emotive hype, shrill and drama.
All the best to them, I think the leaders intentions may be well meaning but they have amassed a group of almost 5000 women and perhaps it’s all become a bit unhinged due to becoming so large.
I have been a member of this group since February 2024. While I learned the basics of trading and developed a foundational understanding, I stayed in demo mode as part of my risk management strategy, aiming for a specific profit target before risking my own money. However, after nine months, I still lack the confidence and consistency to do so.
I attended the weekly sessions and followed the provided strategies, but the system hasn’t proven effective, and the results have been disappointing. This past month has been particularly challenging. They recently introduced a new system that, despite appearing straightforward in theory, has led to continuous losses. Moreover, the new concepts they discuss are still in development and untested, and the promises of bigger and better things feel misleading.
As a result, I have canceled my membership. I am done with this group but not with trading. I cannot recommend joining this group at this time, as I lack confidence in its direction.
I’m not one to write reviews but I can’t leave this group without warning others about the experience. Please read through all of the negative reviews. You will get an accurate feel for the group.
The jury is still out on if her simple system is profitable or not profitable. FFW sold the group a conference in September that came with a lot of promises and a new and improved system. Quickly asked members to pay a year long membership, and then immediately asked members to pay up front for the conference next year.
The system has not proved profitable since the conference. In fact, it has had terrible results. Maybe that is a down month? Possibly. But what is most concerning for me is that they are “waiting on the results of backtesting” to be released on the system’s profitability.
Wait. What? You sold us all on a new system, made money on its rollout, and hyped it up to not have proven its profitability first!
Then in a call that promised to be “massive” showed us an “example” of how we can take a $1000 account, risk 3% of our account on 30 trades per month and turn that into a yearly salary starting in year 2. This group is for NEW TRADERS. They promoted to a group of trader at the beginning level of their trading journey–one month into a new system– that hasn’t been proven– with data or time– to risk 90% of their accounts in ONE MONTH?! Irresponsible.
I think this is a testament to how they operate as a business and how they truly feel about the women in the group. It’s a win-win for them. They can make money on the hope and take no responsibility for the failure.
All the other reviews are true. The first system was provided to Amanda from god. The toxic positivity is taught and promoted. The gaslighting is strong by the team and it’s loyal followers. Rash decisions, unmeasured promises, bullying, zero tolerance for questioning the system, etc.
The system is easy, so I will be leaving the group with that knowledge and continuing with trading. We will see if it is profitable or not or if I need to move on to another system. I will say it is so easy you can probably gain all the knowledge you need off of the screenshots they post on social media and google the indicators you see. Save yourself the $35, the toxic positivity and the gaslighting. There are much more healthy ways to work on personal development and mindset!
I started trading two months ago with Forex for Women and I have learnt so much. I found out that trading can be uncomplicated and something that I love doing. Trading is not for everyone. You need to have confidence and take responsibility. This is not a signal group so don't join if you don't want to use your brain muscles, do your homework and take responsibility.
What went wrong?
Your marketing is slick with an emphasis on passive income and how easy it all is. Then comes the gaslighting when paying customers realise the system doesn’t deliver what the marketing promised.
There are frequent distraction techniques, we are bamboozled with compound calculators, retrospective profit claims (30% profit in a couple of days). All of this to act as a smokescreen to a failing system.
Initially I enjoyed the structure of having mindset calls alongside the trading. I now find the calls hard to listen to, ill-prepared, repetitive nonsense.
How can you improve?
90% of VIP members asked for teaching of the previous system to be returned - 90%!!! Maybe listen to the 700 active members (never seen any sign of the 5000 they claim).
Practice what you preach. Trade in demo the opportunities you are recommending to VIPs on the Sunday and Tuesday calls. Share the lessons live and transparently instead of retrospectively.
Be quicker at turning things around. Launch ideas when they are ready, not before. This week alone you have teased an AI trading bot, an FFW indicator, crypto trading, and a compounding calculator… it’s all smoke and mirrors. Bring back the substance.
I’ve been a member for 5 months and the culture shift in that time has been dramatic. My advice to others is to approach with your eyes open, and to question everything. Particularly the few ‘super users’ who seem to have success while hundreds around them fail.
Most of the limitations of this company have been addressed in the other comments. You’ll see that there are many people reporting the same things. They’re not treating their members respectfully right now, and they’ve been given more than enough evidence that their strategy doesn’t work and shouldn’t be taught.
If FFW insist that their strategy DOES work, then what we need to see is a trading record from the teachers, and real trading results in a current account, in the current market. Until then, I’m leaving my review at 1*, because until we see the numbers, there’s nothing more to say. Forex For Women has the vision, but they simply don’t have the substance (at least not yet). If the teachers continue to refuse to show performance data to prove the merit of their teachings, then we have our answer, and they don’t deserve our trust.
A handful of months of backtesting the daily timeframe is an ok start, but much MUCH more is needed. Show us the numbers.
The saying goes, “everyone’s a genius in a bull market”. And like a lot of people, FFW’s students made some money in the major trends of 2024. So what can they provide their customers in trickier market conditions? Based on testing pre-2024 (generously provided to them for free by their community), it would at BEST be a break-even strategy in other market conditions, at least the way that they are teaching their customers currently. Instead of thanking their community, FFW set rules about how we’re allowed to talk, and started removing people for talking about the performance data.
Can’t they simply publish their results to prove the critics wrong, or even open a new account and grow it with their community members? Every reputable trader in the industry does something like this. The teachers have shown no results from real trades that can help their students get an idea of what kind of performance they can expect.
My advice to anyone interested in joining, is to come back in a few years, assuming the company is still standing. Right now, the company needs work, from strategy to culture. All FFW really needs to do, is (1) to reassure their customers with real and current numbers from their own trades, and (2) to stop censoring people.
I’ll update this review if anything changes though.
In the meantime, go learn from someone reputable like TraderTom.
P.S. Regarding the comments that this is a cult - it’s not intentionally a cult, but it is religious, and it sure sounds like a cult sometimes… my partner actually overheard one of the classes that I was listening to, and literally asked if I’d accidentally joined a cult. So take that as you will.
**EDIT: FFW replied to my previous review stating that they cannot give evidence due to FTC guidelines, when I replied, they tried to remove it.
We Yes, regulatory / FTC guidelines are the reasons that customers have been given for why FFW cannot share performance data. While I appreciate their efforts to stay compliant, there seems to be some misunderstanding on FFW’s part of what is and isn’t allowed under these rules. Actually, from MY understanding, the claim that proving performance data is not allowed by the FTC can be considered false. As previously stated, most other instructors in the same industry provide performance data, and they are not in breach of these rules. To be clear: FTC does not prohibit sharing actual performance data as long as it is accurate, truthful, and accompanied by appropriate risk disclosures, and this would include both hypothetical data (I.e. backtesting and forwardtesting in a demo account) and actual live trading results in the form of % wins / % losses, for example). And I have to assume that FFW know at least some of this, because they DO publish a limited amount of backtesting data to their customers to prove the profitability of their system.
The FTC also requires that all advertising claims be substantiated and are not misleading. As long as FFW are truthful, they are allowed to share performance data like everyone else. Of course, if companies cannot be fully truthful or transparent in their data, then they cannot share this information without risking non-compliance. This is what concerns me regarding this argument from FFW. To any other customers out there - you are fully within your right to ask for performance data from companies, don’t let their vague reference to FTC scare you away from asking. (Please note, all of these comments are my own conclusions based on my own research on public information. Please do not take ANYONE’S claims about regulations as 100% true without doing your own research or consulting FTC, regardless whether it’s FFW’s claims or mine. Please do your own research and draw your own conclusions.) I wish everyone reading this the best of luck.
