2 stars for the info I did learn. To me it was not real teaching. She made it seem like she was teaching you. The first video after the "welcome" one she off the bat said something about the ema line that she already showed us like we were in her class for months. Another thing that rubbed me the wrong way was she more than once didn't know what she was doing on the laptop saying she's not usual on it. Also more than once she was showing us and using her daughters chart and not her own. So I got through all the videos and honestly just the tip of information we really need and we need to pay more to get into the vip or extended teachings and mindset. She even briefly goes into the other things she does but wasn't going to get into those as this was just the basics. Her idea is good, I personally am not paying $35 a month for something I learned in 10 modules (can't remember the exact number) and was really simple to then go and find free info on YouTube that expands on her idea.
It was the monthly fee for not great classes for me.
Let’s start with the GOOD:
For $35 (which is honestly a steal), I went from knowing nothing about the stock market to learning the basics of day trading, what forex is, how to use TradingView, and how to actually place a trade. Amanda is a great teacher, she explains things clearly and is genuinely engaging. I also really enjoyed the community aspect that comes with the monthly membership. Having a supportive group while learning something new made a big difference.
Now, for the NOT so great:
From the moment I joined, it felt a little “MLM-like” with constant promises of becoming financially free. More recently, there has been a strong message that if you aren’t profitable, it’s solely because of you, not the strategy itself. This rubbed me the wrong way, especially when the “strategy” seems ever-changing. After finishing the beginner course, I was left confused about what timeframe to use. Some training videos focus on the 4H timeframe, while current teaching emphasizes the daily chart.
Looking through the community posts, it’s clear I’m not alone. Many women share this same confusion. Terms like the “MVP list” were mentioned often but were never covered in the beginner material, which added to the overwhelm. It seems that the people who are successful with this strategy take the foundation Amanda teaches but then significantly tweak it: finding their own pairs, timeframes, and extra confluences that work for them.
Another thing that felt off: there seem to be many women in the group who are working very hard but still aren’t profitable.
Also one team member recently posted from Hawaii, saying, “by scalping just a few minutes a day, sticking to my strategy, being patient, waiting for my confluences, and staying disciplined, I was able to profit enough to pay for the cost of a trip to Hawaii!” A few hours later, Amanda clarified that she had actually taken all the team members to Hawaii with an all-expenses-paid trip. So while the trading may have helped her journey, it wasn’t trading alone that funded the trip, it was the $35 membership fees from the community. Situations like this made me feel uncomfortable, and ultimately, I decided to cancel my membership today.
Final thoughts:
If I could do it over, I would join FFW for one month to learn the basics because they do teach the fundamentals well and then move on to a mentorship group where the mentor shows clear proof of long-term profitability and where many members are consistently successful.
Just because a strategy has a high win rate does not mean it’s profitable.
Choose wisely, ladies!
No one "invited" me to write a review. I'm sharing my own experiences in the group-which have been phenomenal. The three co-owners seem genuinely interested in helping members learn a skill and earn an income; trainings are plentiful and comprehensive. Members share their experiences in the community forums and we help each other learn there, too. Yes, there is a specific strategy taught-yay-and it is simple and easy to learn and get started with trading. One course cannot possibly teach you everything you need to know about Forex trading and those that think they should, do so at their own peril. We are encouraged to seek additional information on YouTube, chat gpt, etc., and I do. I find the classes informative and practical, personally. I'm not sure why all the negative reviews exist; I hold a doctorate in education administration and am very picky about courses and teachers-I feel lucky to participate for the low cost of $35/month. I love being a part of such a special community.
Empty promises. Don't quit your day job.
I started with Forex for Women Feb 2024. Practice Trading is not the same as Live Trading. With Amandas system, there is NO System. I learned more and was more successful with Sheas Scalping but even so, I'm still in the red with my trading. These ladies are not making their money to live their lifestyle from trading, They are making their living off of us through their monthly fees. Amanda is great at marketing and Jen. What really turned me off is they changed up to where you could get live view of training and additional mentorship so called one on one if your bought into PRO at a cost of $10,000. up front including paying the fees. Honestly, All the YouTubers, TikTokers and making their money off of the ADS that end up running while their channel is being viewed. They are all living the American Dream from their creativity to market themselves to sell their strategy and other products, You can't blame any of them for doing what they are doing really as their is no regulation on this space. It’s all about them being able to sleep at night. If they have no conscience, then they are not worried about how many people they are scamming. But then again, is it really a scam. As they say, be aware of Wolves in Sheeps Clothing. That is what most are especially when they are riding on the wings of Jesus and that God lead them to this strategy to share with all Women to allow them to stay home and work from home on 10 minutes a day. It's all a lie. So far I have not been successful. My account has dwendled little by little for every trade I make using their system. I have had a few gains, mainly losses. Save your money and watch YouTubes of others for Free. Trader DNA is a very good teacher on YouTube.
I joined for one month and found the 'course' and info they presented confusing & hard to try & follow. As an ex teacher myself I soon began to feel this was a very scammy set up. I gave up & found much better free info on youtube.
Let me start off by saying I have followed Amanda and Jemma FOR YEARS!!!! I believed in Amanda so much from TikTok when she first started that I paid a giant amount of money to belong to IM Academy because she belonged to it. That was overwhelming so I quit after spending about $1,000 but then when she, Jemma, and Jen started Forex for Women at $35 a month, I thought it was great. I learned a lot of basic stuff and frankly it was fun with the group of like minded ladies. Again, this is when it was on Discord and only like 100 members and then moved to the Skool app. It's now evolved into over 5,000 members I believe. Long story short, I agree with all other 1 star reviews at this point and what really really got me was two things:
1. In the fall of 2024 a new strategy was introduced with 'proven back-testing' data. I KNOW that there are no guarantees but according to their 'proven strategy' if you invested x-amount of $, with their strategy and following their "Quantum Leap" method (worksheet), following to a T, even with the losses we anticipate, you would be well over 6 digits after 2 years. (I am being incredibly generous when I say 6 digits, they promised more but I was more realistic I thought) So that was in the fall.............fast forward to December and here comes the BIG ANNOUNCEMENT. I was so excited about this big announcement that I SAT IN A PARKING LOT at a chemo center and watched it live and had my chemo patient friend wait another 30 minutes for me to finish. (he was fine, I'm not that big of a jerk) That's how dedicated I was!!! Well that big announcement included Amanda's husband delivering the big news that for roughly $5,000, $10,000, or $15,000 you could get one on one coaching delivered under the umbrella "you asked for it and we are delivering!". Ugh, gag me with a spoon. It felt slimy AF.....BUT I didn't let the negativity slip in because I believed them when they said 'nothing would change for the $35 members'. I believed that so much that I went into Mama Bear mode defending them to other members who said "oh great, now we won't get the content we were getting"....and guess what, we were no longer receiving anywhere near the same content at $35.
2. Fast forward to end of the year, beginning of 2025, (I don't remember exactly when) and all of a sudden the story of the "strategy" that was previous almost guaranteed is: "Well, with a new presidency and election, we really don't know what's going to happen so here is how to manage your trades............" and suddenly that proven 'set it and forget it' with the 'proven back-testing' strategy was out the window.
This morning, after following the strategy......you know, the set it and forget it one, I am down $140 in the last 7 days. Again, losses happen and I'm fine with that but I can finally admit it's all BS. I realize that this is my decision to trade, I realize that they aren't financial advisors, I realize I am of my own free will........BUT there HAS TO BE SOME ACCOUNTABILITY for the delivery of content from people like this. I feel stupid for blindly trusting the way I did to the extent I did. I did learn the basics of placing trades and other basics and I am grateful for that. I feel that Jemma is the most genuine of the group because she is all about improving mindset and I believe that kind of thing is absolutely essential in life in general, not just trying to make money so I appreciated that piece.
I deleted Amanda from Social Media this morning, I am withdrawing what money I have from my trading account, and chalking this up to "if it sounds too good to be true" it is. I HATE THAT.
PS: If I hear the term "massive profit you guys" one more time, I will vomit. :-)
BEWARE
been with them for over 6 months as it was good in the beginning it seemed pretty simple and effiective untill you implentment it. They are out for theyre own gain its 3 women who run it and if you want to pay for a community of women who are all trying to learn themselves and figure out from eachother then by all means join, if your looking for basic information that really can be found on youtube to be honest. they have changed the strategy first used they preach that you can be finincally free using what they teach but its not true one bit if you soley use what they teach you. You will only lose money from mine and many others experience! The only people are finincally free are the ones running this scheme Group they have for 35 a month ... with over 4000 users of course they will do anything to keep theyre community growing
Great for learning the mechanics of making a trade but the system is inconsistent and doesn't provide the type of gains that make it worth it. There is a lot of assumptions on the compounding potential that don't pan out for users. Might be great as a starting point in learning how to complete a trade but not a place to stay longterm.
I initially had great respect for Amanda’s trading skills; however, I was disappointed by her response to member feedback. While she offers valuable insights, her approach to constructive criticism felt dismissive, with a "take it or leave it" attitude. Additionally, the delivery of education has been inconsistent, and she does not seem open to feedback for improvement.
I admire their ambition in building a business, but they are experiencing growing pains that have yet to be addressed. While the training itself is valuable, the emotional maturity in handling feedback is lacking, leading to a dismissive approach. Greater openness to constructive criticism could enhance both their delivery and overall impact.
I truly want to see them succeed. However, they are leading with ego at this time.
An update to my 4 star review, unfortunately I have to downgrade it to 1 star.
I won't bash FFW on here to express the greed that has possessed the 3 owners, all the other reviews give you a jist and none of them are wrong.
I will, however, thank them for the crazy up and down journey I got to witness last year while I was a member of FFW. I will say the 35.00 a month is great for any beginner who wants to understand trading lingo and how to read a basic chart but that's about it. Anything further than that is just fluff.
Thankfully I only followed their method on a demo account and was it ever disheartening losing one trade after another.
I decided to take a break from FFW last summer and joined again in September. As soon as I joined they were exploring this miracle of an indicator that will make all of us millions, lol. The hype was just insane.
That's when it started going downhill for me. When they offered packages starting at 5k going up to 15k for more one on one service. Which is great for anyone that can afford it but that also solidified for me that none of our questions would get any attention who aren't paying for their personal assistance so what's the point in paying for a monthly membership??
But every train wreck of a story comes with a silver lining, you see.
I canceled my membership in November and started exploring other courses/mentorships. And in January boy did I hit the academy/mentorship lottery.
I only call this academy a lottery I won because I had to go through a truly shitty experience to know when I hit gold. So I will always be thankful for the shitty experience at FFW!
I have learned so much in one month and understand now why I was experiencing loss after loss with FFW because they teach absolutely nothing!
In one month I have been taught more information on 3 different strategies (Scalping, day trading, swing trading) and I get to pick which one suits my style and get better at that.
Every question gets answered within a day. Lol, that never happened with FFW!
I am still in a demo account and will get better at the new strategy before I fund an account. But I am up 25% in my demo account since the beginning of February.
So thank you to FFW women for showing me how low the bar was when I was a member at FFW.
I was a member of FFW from June 2024 to January 2025. I bought into the hype - truly believed Amanda, Jenn and Jemma had our best intentions in mind and wanted to help women earn a passive income thru day trading. Sadly, the negative reviews on here reflect a lot of my experience as well. It’s all marketing, cringey TikTok’s, false promises of “massive profits” and not a lot of substance in their program.
The strategies Amanda has taught do not work on their own. I followed her daily system strictly and lost over 30% of my account and was one of the lucky ones. I was only risking minimal % per trade - not the 3-5% per trade they were encouraging the women to risk. And ladies, it is NOT normal to lose 20-30 trades in a row. That was a major red flag for me when they explained the strategy, which would have potentially up to 20+ trades open at one time. Felt it was negligent by not helping women understand proper risk management. They encouraged us to take every possible trade to reach a 40% win rate, until we started running into margin issues and then brokers closed trades due to hedging (not allowed in some). Some blew their accounts and kept re-funding them as they were told to “trust the system”. Basically we were gambling. Then Amanda would start telling women to not take every trade and risk less as so many women were posting about the losses and were desperate for some reassurance and guidance from this paid community. Was confusing as she’s telling us we are losing because we didn’t follow her rules exactly and we have to dive in and give it time….Amanda and team would never respond to the loss posts or any post that asked legitimate questions or questioned their strategy - their “pick-me’s” community members would respond and tell women to go work on their mindset and that the market was “just marketing” - the blind leading the blind. I never received a direct response from any FFW employee when posting questions and so many posts were deleted and women labeled as being “mean spirited or negative” - another red flag. We’ve all had to seek out outside resources and strategies and when sharing in the FFW community, it was chastised and posts removed as they didn’t want women learning other strategies. Another red flag.
And then towards the end of my membership, Amanda starts back peddling because women lost a lot of $$, telling them to not take every trade, risk less and take in other tools and concepts to decide how to enter a trade. Despite claims of backtesting and months of “massive profits”, not one woman ever benefited from trading her daily EMA strategy. And no one has ever shown any proof of profitability, including these founders - another red flag. The Tuesday Testimonials of women success stories are from women who modified and used different strategies to succeed.
So the positives: I did enjoy a few of the bookclub picks. The actual bookclub meetings themselves were kind of boring tbh. I liked Jemma’s mindset calls in the beginning, but over time it became repetitive with the weekly “preaching” rather than inspiring, especially when the team never addressed the losses or losing strategy.
I can tell you in the first 3 weeks after leaving FFW and joining other FREE groups and learning concepts like basic support and resistance, supply a demand and trading around news, I am more profitable now and making up my losses. I have since joined other paid trading groups and have seen what a world of difference it is to have reputable mentors who have proven strategies and share their successes, and communities of traders with a great support system and access to training material beyond recorded meetings. How they approach education and risk management is night and day from FFW and they have actual mods and employees who respond and live trade and review your charts and help you. Don’t make the same mistake I made - invest in other reputable groups if you want to be successful. And btw, since I’ve left, I’ve found all of the FFW “strategies” for free on YouTube and other sites - none of it was given to Amanda by “God”. They’ve been around for years. Do your research ladies!
Do not believe the TikTok videos. No trading happens with 10 mins of setting up trades. They are selling a pipe dream and the only way they make money is through the subscription service. If 10 mins a day can make money, they wouldn't spend so much time setting up a training for others. Think about it.
This is an MLM scam. These women know nothing about trading, they make their money on your subscriptions and ridiculous high priced upsells of “proven and backtested system” which in reality is a pure gamble and not a proper strategy.
All 3 of these “mentors” have shady MLM background and it shows.
They encourage you to risk reckless amounts on trades and their “compounding plan” promises the most unrealistic results.
Amanda contradicts herself pretty much every time she opens her mouth, she’s changed her “successful and proven” trading strategy so many times, its just laughable at this point. The other two founders are just there to teach you “mindset” which is ironic because your mindset will be what they’ll blame when you figure out Amanda is scamming you.
Community forum is heavily censored, all comments where members express concerns about making consistent losses are labelled as “noise” and just deleted.
Terrible, Just terrible , I invested some money and was told to contact some number in case of troubles throughout the entire process, but after investing time and money into it and couldn't withdraw the number wasn't available
I joined the group for 5 months after I watched a convincing tik tok video. I thought I found an amazing group of Christian traders only discover it wasn’t as the videos lead on. Questions often unanswered or only answered by other members. The strategy changed 2 to 3 times during the 5 months, members complaining about losses, and a lot of drama in the comments. I found there to be too many losses. I lost about 30% of my original investment. In the end it felt scammy and greed driven.
Looks like my review from a few months ago was removed. The membership is not good value in my opinion, their trading strategy changes all the time so it’s more reactive after market conditions change instead of a true tried and tested method. There is very little support unless you upgrade to a very expensive membership.
The only good thing I got out it was an introduction (flawed) to trading. I have since had the absolutely good fortune to be part of a group that does teach successful strategies and offers unbelievable support.
Do your own research into trading mentors and groups before spending your hard earned money. There is plenty to watch all the free YouTube videos, much more educational and helpful.
Forex for women appear to make more money from membership fees than actual trading as they never actually show you any of their successful trades, this alone is a red flag.
These women know nothing about forex. Don’t think that their money is coming from Forex, their money is coming from your membership into their “strategy.” Go do a deep dive on Amanda‘s history in this field and her history on trying to do a million other MLM type businesses. Before this, she was trying to sell crypto to every Joe Schmoe that existed. All the traveling that they’re doing is not from Forex, it’s from your membership because you believe what they say. There are plenty of people with a hell of a lot more experience in this industry than this group and they put their trainings up for absolutely zero dollars a month. The moment on their platform you give advice to traders that in any way goes against their strategy or would drive people away from their strategy they will block you from all their platforms. Trying to help women are trying to help themselves? Stay away.
I joined Forex for Women at the beginning of 2024 and was initially very excited to be part of a community that seemed to empower women from all backgrounds, regardless of their financial situation. I appreciated the simple and accessible approach to learning trading, which avoided the technical jargon often found in other online trading programs. The community was supportive, and I gained a lot of knowledge during my time there.
However, towards the end of 2024, I noticed some significant changes that led me to reconsider my membership. The beginner’s call was merged with the VIP call, which meant that much of the VIP session was spent covering basic concepts. As someone paying $35 per month for VIP membership, I found this frustrating since I no longer needed beginner-level content. Additionally, the calls were reduced to 30 minutes, with the explanation that an hour was not needed, and that they needed to move onto their call with the pro members.
What I found most disappointing was the introduction of a pro membership costing thousands of pounds. This development seemed to shift the focus away from the original mission of supporting women from all financial backgrounds. While I understand the need for businesses to grow, I feel this change excluded many members, including myself, who could not afford the higher fees. It also left me feeling as though VIP members were being deprioritized.
I was further concerned by a warning on Trustpilot regarding inflated reviews. Transparency is important to me, and I believe reviews should reflect genuine experiences without pressure to leave positive feedback. This raised questions about the integrity of the organization.
Ultimately, I decided to cancel my membership. While I value the knowledge and experience I gained, I feel the group no longer aligns with its initial goals of inclusivity and support for women from all backgrounds. I wish the remaining members the best of luck but I for one will not be returning to Forex for Women.
I just wanted to add to my previous 1 star review. Please believe all the other 1 star reviewers and learn elsewhere.
I was with FFW for 3 months. I was using (and still am) a demo account while I learn how to trade forex. Using A's (Had to remove her first name as she issued a complaint- red flag) strategy I consistently had loss after loss after loss. Way more losses than wins. Since I started following a new strategy, THREE weeks ago... from popular traders on YouTube, I have had consistent wins and am just about ready to start using my own live account. Save your money, do your research and search out all the different strategies on YouTube.
I have been a VIP member for several months. Everything that Amanda posts paints FFW in a rose tinted light. So many of their zoom calls talk about how they love and appreciate every member (of course they do as they are raking in $175k monthly from members).
A few months ago they started Testimonial Tuesdays where there is a dedicated zoom call with successful members. To date there have only been five such calls. I am not saying I disbelieve the success these five women have achieved, but, if the system FFW teaches is so successful, why have there only been five testimonials?
Success does not come overnight, however, my trading account is down 30% from the initial amount I deposited with my broker ….. that is with using Amanda’s analysis of the charts on her Sunday broadcast and not deviating from her system.
Direct messages to Amanda, Jemma and Jenn go unanswered as do some of the messages sent to Team Forex for Women. This is not what I consider acceptable from them. I don’t expect an immediate response, within a few days would be acceptable.
All of their compounding, trade trackers, trade journals as well as the own FFW indicator should be available to all paid members regardless of whether they pay monthly or annually.
Those traders who wish one on one mentorship and training to become certified by FFW to be able to teach the strategy themselves should certainly pay more. VIP members should have access to the special EMA, trackers and trading journals.
