Forestpark Hotel Arvostelua 4

We had a wonderful stay at the New Forest Park Hotel recently, with our dog. The staff are friendly, super attentive and nothing too much trouble. The room was very comfortable with a door straight out on to the garden, very handy for our dog. The beautiful, peaceful garden was perfect to sit in for a cuppa or glass of wine. Our evening meal was very good as was the superbly cooked breakfast and many choices of cereals, fresh fruits and pastries, to suit everyone. The atmosphere was second to none, a lovely homely feel about it. Jamie, who we had most of our dealings with, the booking, meeting and greeting general enquiries or even just a chat, couldn’t have been more friendly and professional if he had tried. All the staff went about their duties in a professional manner. We have frequented the
Forest Park Hotel many, many times over the years. Have always enjoyed it even seeing the changes it has made, only for the best.
This Hotel is still one of favourites, it never looses its charm and we can’t wait for our next visit.

Fabulous stay, friendly staff, great location

In my opinion, this is the best Hotel in the New Forest. Given the choice, it is the only Hotel i will stay at when visiting the New Forest Area. I have been staying with them for many, many years, pre-renovation, through renovation and out the other side and I'm glad to say it has not lost its character, and good to see some old faces remain amongst the staff.

The hotel itself sits less than 20 meters from you stepping into the lush green of the New Forest, a 6-mile walk along tracks will take you into Lydhurst and a further 2-mile walk to at train will bring you straight back to Brockenhurst. Many walking and cyceling routs from this Hotel. It's super dog friendly and very adaptive and accommodating you your needs and the needs of your dog. If you have a nervous or defensive, do let them know and they will sit you away from other dogs or walkways, even without informing the staff they still try to keep guests with dogs strategically separated in the bar.

Rooms are comfortable and welcoming, good facilities, food and drink is good and excellently presented. Staff are impeccably turned out, polite and helpful.

This hotel is the full package, i recommend it, please don't change :-)

This is our second visit to this hotel.
I must say it is one of the loveliest, most friendly hotels we have stayed at.
Both times we have been given a very warm welcome from the receptionist.
They have a lovely varied menu in the restaurant and great choice of drinks/cocktails in the bar.
The waiting staff are second to none, so friendly and always ready for a chat.
Breakfast is delicious and plentiful.
The only negative is the beds, we find them quite firm, so if you're not used to that this could be a slight issue.
There are lots of great walks in the surrounding area with lots of ponies wandering around.
Brockenhurst is a quaint little village with tea rooms, pubs/bars and shops.
