First Payment Merchant Services Arvostelua 

As a newbie to this service, I am so happy with the excellent customer service from Kelly. She explained everything so clearly. She was reassuring and patient with my queries. I'm confident that I'll be satisfied with First payment services.

Kelly Scanlon was friendly and assiduous in helping me apply for the terminal.
She invited me to leave a review, and I would happily have done this even if she hadn’t offered me a small thank-you of spare till rolls if I quote MID- 520334511292484.
When the terminal arrived I found it didn’t contain everything listed, but no matter, I don’t need them all.
Missing were the docking station and ethernet cable. In fairness, during the registration process I think they asked if I needed the ethernet cable, and I don’t. Still, the instructions clearly say it should be there. As for the docking station, I don’t need it because the machine comes with a power cable.
In setting up the terminal I didn’t know what my merchant number was until I guessed this was the MID number Kelly had mentioned in an email.
The set of instructions included with the terminal were not particularly user-friendly in that some contained instructions 1 to 5, others instructions 11 to 21, or 1 to 13, for example, with no indication as to in which order to read them or where to find the missing instructions. Still, by cutting them up I eventually made sense of it.
Once I’d got the correct instructions, set-up was easy and quick.
So far, I haven’t needed to use it to make a sale so can’t say how well this works, but devices like it are used the world over so it can’t be that hard!
Looking through the instructions there is a page for performing a reconciliation, which requires a Supervisor password which I’ll have to ask for, as I don’t see it in any of the emails or instructions so far.

We were looking for a cheaper deal on our card machine and got a call from Samina from First Payments. She talked us through all the options and was very helpful. The transfer from our current merchant over to first payments has been smooth. The new machine arrived quickly and I was kept updated throughout the process. I will recommend the company to others.

We are a Model Railway Club and have looked at various companies to supply us with a card reader after speaking to Stephen Rowbotham he gave me the confidence to use First Payment Merchant Services as our provider. He explained how the system worked and the % fee per transaction. We submitted all documents as requested, and the machines arrived 2 days later. Within an hour of the parcel being delivered, I was phoned by the IT department to ask if we needed any help in setting up

Given our experience with our previous card service provider we entered the market with a little trepidation. There was no need, having evaluated the services, rates and account management of a number of companies, First Payment and specifically Stephen Rowbotham removed our concerns. The professionalism, speed of response, competitive proposal and straight and honest appraisal of our needs made the decision to move to them a simple one. Within a few days our machines arrived and a simple phone call had our four machines on boarded and ready to use in 20 minutes. We are still new to First Payments and all is looking very good so far.

Kelly was very good. So far everything has gone well. The card terminal is faster than our previous one, so that's a bonus.

Samina guided me throughout the process, giving clear information on the savings I would make, clear advice on any questions / issues, enabling me to resolve them by contacting my other partner businesses. The terminal was easy to install - just one small issue, no ethernet adapter was provided - my last machine had a socket to plug my cable directly into. Soon resolved by a cheap purchase. The payment display on the terminal is easy to read and bright - I no longer need my reading glasses to operate.
