FBC Manby Bowdler Arvostelua 7

I’ve been using Jordan’s Solicitors for years as it was professional, organised and very competent at their businesses, that was until this cowboy outfit called FBC Manby Bowdler brought them out, sooo unprofessional, asking me questions that is part of their job to find out, I may as well done the legal side of the myself as I provided them with so much answers that they should be dealing with.

Tom the “Solicitor” asked us to agree to some unusual terms when it came to exchanging

We was asked if we would let the buyer move in before exchange??? No

Then we was asked to let buyer move in days before the funds were exchanged??? No

It took a year with no chain to finalise with no hold ups on our side or buyer

The buyer had to extend their mortgage offer twice it took so unnecessarily long

We was told exchange Thursday am and funds hour later

Funds didn’t arrive in the bank until Friday 5-25pm even though buyer had moved in 48hrs earlier

I had to demand our sale fund be transferred immediately as waiting 5 days is totally unacceptable and very unprofessional

Do yourself a favour and use a reputable solicitor and avoid FCB Manby

This is a honest experience which I hope warns others to go elsewhere

I was told to contact this company as they had prepared my late mother's Will. I had concerns relating to the Executor of the Will and wanted to discuss the matter with them. They refused my request without giving ANY reason. I understand there may be a conflict of interest or other reasons, but they refused to give me a reason when asked. I still don't know why they would turn business away and I'm still waiting for an explanation why they won't discuss my request.

Appalling, unprofessional service!!

Exceptionally slow and fail to respond to the majority of emails. 2 years down the line and I am still waiting for a family estate to be sorted. Exasperated at the way a fixed fee case seems to be way down at the bottom of their priorities. Would not recommend at all. Started the process of putting in a complaint but I’m not hopeful at getting it resolved any time soon.

Do not use for family matters professional thieves. Nothing was really done I am no further forward with my matter. Mediation is the way forward do not use solicitors they have no care for you just your wallet. Left with a big bill

Having used FBCMB previously I had no hesitation in instructing them again for our house sale and certainly wasn’t disappointed. Their level of professionalism and courtesy was second to none. Emails were very promptly responded to. Despite the sellers solicitor hampering the deal FBMCB got us there with their dedication and determination. Thanks to Adam Opperman for making what was a very stressful time bearable with his support. Also thanks to Julie and Tina. I would more than happily recommend this company’s services

Very slow in processing things. Very little comprehensive view of all documentation

Very slow to respond and still using Covid as an excuse in August 2021 for a very simple task
