We have used fairview windows a few times now and wont go anywhere else from now on. Everytime we have used them i cant fault them on anything the work thats carried out is 2nd to none absolutly exceptional standerd, they keep everywhere clean after they have finished and are all very polite.
Choose fairview windows and you wont be dissaponted

Has two installations by Fairview windows either side of Covid. The first installation left the house like a building site with dust and rubble everywhere due to whizzing brickwork whilst the old windows were out. Dressing table ruined by solvent equipment resting on it. Installation was so bad all the windows were removed and replaced 3 months later. Not once did a manger call to the house to see what we had been left with. No offer to clean the house or repair any damage. A bunch of flowers. Second part of installation involved a kitchen door. When ordered it was stressed that the kitchen floor was going to be tiled. We also informed them several times after. The wrong threshold was fitted and the only solution is for us to remove our existing kitchen floor.
The after sales is dire and I felt bullied on the phone. Constantly being shouted over and not allowed to speak. To add insult to injury they have photographed the house and plastered it all over the internet as a success story for their advertising without permission. I could not recommend this company. Recently had 4 windows and a new back door fitted - we're happy.
We'd started-out with another company, who sent a salesman out and my wife showed him what we wanted, she said he seemed in a hurry and we got a quote which was a bit vague and didn't detail everything - so I rang-up to query and turned-out that lots of details were wrong eg colours of window (some white inside, wood outside and others wood both sides) and the fitting of a catflap to the back door completely missed even though she'd been through it with him. Not good.
So instead we contacted Fairview and they were totally better, the salesman came out and took rough measurements and went through alternatives we could choose from, we decided and he went through his notes with us so we could agree it was what we wanted. We got a quote and went with it - a little bit higher than other company but happier we'd actually get what we wanted.
A surveyor came out and took precise measurements and we agreed details like whether windows would hinge left or right etc - he was working from the salesman's notes from before and they were correct for what we wanted. He took our catflap away to be fitted into the back door when it was manufactured (it identifies our cat's microchip and stops other cats getting in; I fitted an old one into the existing door for the couple of weeks it took to make the new door).
Once the windows and door were made-up, the fitters came and fitted them, cleaned-up after the job and were keen that we checked all was good and we were happy before they left.
We did subsequently have a minor issue where the back door started to catch on the frame a month or so afterwards and so I rang and said maybe the hinges needed adjusting. No problem they said and made an appointment for an engineer to come out 3 working days later : he adjusted them, all is fine now.
So we're happy with the job they've done, it's been done as we wanted, they always turned-up when they said they would for appointments. We actually dealt with quite a few people and all were professional and friendly - would use again.

Fuming bay window roof over an inch and a half out out and sloping down, So lead is leaving streaks down the windows and condensation outside across the sill. Impossible to fit blinds on the window straight.

Came out to 'fix: the job and skimmed over the problem with plaster on the interior bay leaving the issue remaining and lowering the bay window ceiling which is unsightly.

The roof needed redoing, a totally botched job on newly fitted windows. Not happy!

Came out and issue not rectified just a make do and mend patch up job to fob me of because of their dodgy measurements, fitters could see it is not right upon installation, they are not blind.

The service we received from Fairview was absolutely second-to-none.
From our request for an estimate, to the fitting of the windows, the service could not have been better.
We would like to give our thanks to Steve and Lee, who did the survey, and special thanks to Adrian and Mike, who installed the windows with such care and consideration.

Our two previous bay windows were terribly draughty even after fitting so we decided to ring Jimi who gave us a very reasonable price.
Fitters Adrian & Mike arrived on time & within a few hours our top bay window had been fitted.
We are so happy that the Fairview fitters have now solved the problem and our new bay window is completely draught free.
Adrian & Mike were really nice guys & tidied up after fitting leaving our property clean & tidy.
We wouldn't hesitate to use this company again.

Advisor Number 118121 measured &installed our blinds.
Arrived at our property at time agreed. Was very professional, polite, tidy and knowledgeable about the vertical & horizontal blinds we had installed today.
We are pleased with the blinds installed today and we will recommend Fairview to everyone in the future.

Our second time using Fairview for a Rockdoor installation. The process from initial contact to installation has been very professional and clear. Someone initially came out to take our order and drew up the draft requirements sheet, a few weeks later someone else came out to conduct a survey to ensure what we had ordered was correct, validate sizings and whether the door aperture needed any special works /lintels etc. We were told at the time of ordering (late Oct/Nov) about the lead time for production and fitting, which would likely be End Jan at the earliest. Fairview then contacted us by email in early December to advise of our fitting date of 17th February and asked us to confirm if that was acceptable, as we didn't see the email, they followed up with a phone call to chase. Fairview came out today to install the door on the date promised. The fitter was excellent, very prompt, very professional and made sure we were happy with the installation. You could see he took pride in his work, checking everything was absolutely spot on level. Whilst not the cheapest quote around, I firmly believe that you get what you pay for and I would 100% recommend the company to friends and family for a door installation.

From first contacting the company, it was approx 6 months until they fitted the windows in the summer of 2022. As winter approached I noticed signs of damp at the bottom of windows and doors on the inside. After investigation, I found out that they had not put any sealant around 4 of the windows on the rear of the property which is rendered. I contacted the company and they sent someone out to look at them. Two days later I got a phonecall saying they weren't going to do anything more, blaming the damp problem on the rendering not being repainted. So in all honesty I could not recommend this company to anybody.

Who I’d like to send a big thank you to is Norman the maintenance guy, (called on us today) everyone thanks the fitters, who do a great job, but I think this chap does a great job too, if ever there’s a little blip he is always extremely pleasant & smiling and sorts it out with little fuss, Norman your a great asset to Fairview, I hope you get to see this comment

We recently had all our windows replaced by Fairview at a good price and the work was done quickly. The fitters were brilliant, really friendly and did a good job of tidying up afterwards. Excellent service from initial enquiry to installation. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering having new windows.

After service shocking - full of false promises would not recommend

Fairview took our deposit in Aug 2021 and promised fitting in the new year (delayed due to covid) it is now June 2022 and we have still heard nothing. Every time we make contact they say our enquiry has been passed to the installations team and no one gets back to us.

Do not use this company.

We found an advert for Fairview in our local paper, they agreed to install a conservatory with central heating for us in Feb 2019.

The central heating did not work as promised, they tried a few times to fix the issue, they eventually gave up.

Despite not doing what they said they would, they sent us a threatening letter demanding payment in full. When we tried to explain to them that we weren't happy with the work - they were very rude, not nearly as patent as we had been with them.

Feeling trapped, we agreed to pay them despite the outstanding problems to avoid further intimidation.
We paid a British Gas engineer to come and survey the work they did complete - in summary it was found to be incredibly incompetent.

Because of this, their rudeness and unwillingness to be reasonable - we felt we had no other option than to appeal to the small claims court.

They didn't bother to show up, the judge awarded us the case. We are currently having to pursue payment.

They have caused us a lot of trouble, they just act as middle-men to local contractors, and if anything goes wrong they don't want to know - I would 100% recommend against anyone using this company.
