Bought BMW July 2025. Car had missing parts and issues from day 1. They refused to fix or refund cost of fixing them.

Complete and utter liars and crooks.

I had a great experience purchasing an ex police van from this company. I spoke to them on numerous occasions before arranging a visit. They answered the phone very quickly each time and were very helpful and followed up with text messages. On the day we were offered a test drive and the opportunity to view other vans. We made the purchase which went very smoothly, also including Gold RAC warranty and 12 months free RAC breakdown cover. The after sales comms have been great and most importantly the vehicle was in great condition with full service history. Would definitely recommend.

We bought a van from this company and paid extra for delivery. We were told it had full service history and 12 months MOT. When it arrived, all we received was one A4 sheet of paper with something typed on it, and the van only had 9 months MOT, not 12.
Almost immediately, we noticed the passenger-side seat belt clasp was missing and the engine management light came on. A mechanic later confirmed there were numerous additional faults.
We contacted the company straight away. They initially offered to reimburse repair costs, but we refused and requested a full refund due to the condition of the vehicle. They agreed to this and then completely ignored our calls and messages.
This situation dragged on for four months, during which we were forced to hire another van at our own expense. In the end, we had no choice but to take the company to small claims court, which we won. Despite winning, we were still left out of pocket due to court costs they did not pay.
After everything, the company apologised and claimed the person dealing with the matter had been sacked — even though we had dealt with multiple people throughout the process.
To make matters worse, the same Ford Custom is now back on their website. This company is also trading as I A Performance 78 Ltd.
Four months of stress, inconvenience, and unnecessary expense. Avoid at all costs.

I tried to buy a vehicle from them but they insisted on payment up front. I arranged to go and test drive etc. but without money in advance this was not deemed acceptable.

So this leads me to believe something is not legit about the operation. I had a part ex lined up as well.
They bailed when I refused to send money in advance of a test drive/ potential sale.

Very polite and professional on email but BEWARE.

I bought a car from ex police car at this address 121-137 GREENSIDE LANE, DROYLSDEN, Manchester, Lancashire, M43 7UT.

I informed them that I would collect my car on a set date and hoped that my car would be ready, when I arrived at the garage, my car was not to be seen, I thought hat it was away getting pre paired, but to my disgust it was not, it was sat across the road, in a disgusting state, it had not be pre paired at all, it was dirty on the out side and disgusting on the inside, i asked why it was not ready and they said " it was its just been sat there for a day" I explained that the condition was not acceptable, and they said ok we will wash it out side, I also informed them the when I checked the gadgets inside they sat nav did not work, they said its an ex police car, they would of disabled it, I advised them that it needs to be fixed, they just ignored that. They said the car had a full service history, but on investigation and looking at the car internal information, it was clear it had not been serviced since 2022. they refused to do anything about it, so i contacted Zuto who arranged finance and advised them about the issues, they said that they would contact them and deal with it, well it appears that ZUTO don't care either, i also told them about the other issues with the car that some are safety issues, but again it seems that they do not care, once they have your money. PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE FOR YOUR CARS, THEY ARE UN TRUSTWORTHY AND THE CARS ARE NOT SOLD WITH WHAT THEY SAY, IE FULL SERVICE, VALETD, IN FULL WORKING ORDER.

AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS, THEY HAVE HAD EMAIL AFTER EMAIL AND SO MANY CHANCE S TO GET IT RIGHT

I bought a used bmw X5 from ex police cars and I was very happy with the service I received. There were a couple of issues that needed sorting but they sorted them out quickly. They’re a great bunch of lads that were friendly and helpful and with good communication. I’m very happy with my car.
