Booked with you paid and confirmed only to get to the hotel the checking time you gave me is 11am theirs was 3pm I protested only for them to blame your website I cancelled because they don’t want us and who lost it’s me ! They were rude the Samoan Couple claimed that they are the bosses in a Tongan PUATAUKANAVE HOTEL IN VAVAU ! Very bad experience for me my husband and son ! Our overnight holiday was ruined!

The Hotel was not a real Hotel. The room was dirty and the airconditioner did not work. The door would not close. It is out of the way not 600m from where I wanted to go. No staff only 1 lady at reception. I moved out after 1 night. No restuarant in the hotel or service. The phone did not work. Terrible

Always an easy transaction with expedia

I have been trying to contact Expedia for more than a month regarding a flight change, and unfortunately, I have still not received a solution.

Every time I contact Expedia, I am told that a specialist from the US will contact me because they are the only team who can assist with my flight change. However, no one has ever contacted me. I have been waiting for more than a month, and now my flight is tomorrow and the issue is still unresolved.

I have also spoken with the agency/customer service team directly, and they have tried to assist me, but they do not have access to make the change either. This makes the situation even more frustrating because if the team I can actually speak to does not have access to change the booking, and the specialist who does have access never contacts me, how is a customer supposed to resolve their booking?

I understand that some bookings may require a specialised team, but there should be a clear and reliable process to reach that team. Customers should not be sent from one department to another and then left waiting for more than a month without any follow-up.

Making a flight booking is a serious matter, and when a customer needs to make a change, there should be someone responsible for taking ownership of the case and providing a solution. Being repeatedly told that a specialist will contact me, and then receiving no call or follow-up, is extremely disappointing.

My flight is tomorrow, and after more than a month of trying to resolve this, I still have no solution.

Easy to book a stay but when I logged in to check my booking it was completely wrong. I booked and paid extra for 2 adults and 2 bedrooms but my booking appears to be for 1 adult and 1 bedroom. No humans to talk to just an AI that has is all artificial, no intelligence and no idea how to answer my questions. Will never use Expedia again.

I would rate Expedia rather poor, as they charge you extra on website for checked baggage and when they purchase your ticket neglect to add checked baggage. Then you are forced to pay through the airline directly for the extra baggage you already paid for.
You also can't contact and speak to a service representative it's all automated and very limited prompts.

I would go as far to say it's fraudulent charging extra for a service and neglecting to follow through with service to make more money.

I always book with Expedia when travelling. The booking process is so easy and if you need to talk with a representative it's always quick and easy.

Poorly described accommodation in initial booking. Communication was very difficult prior to arriving to voice my concerns of the accommodation booked.

WE HAD TO CANCEL ABOVE TICKET DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCE, IMMEDIATELY AFTER BOOKING WITHIN FREE CANCELLATION WINDOW. EXPEDIA WERE MOST ONLINE NOTORIOIUS CRIMINALS. I KINDLY REQUEST NOT TO PURCHASE ANY TISKETS FROM THEM.

Booking accommodation was a very easy process and having a lot of choice which you normally wouldn't be offered especially places you have never visited.

Make the booking very easy with best price 👍.

Easy hassle free transaction

I am so disappointed. I have a flight from Kansas City to Melbourne Australia - with a layover in Dallas. When I booked, the flight pattern was completely fine! Then apparently the airline cancelled the initial flight from Kansas City to Dallas & bumped me to the next available flight BUT the next flight was scheduled to arrive AFTER the flight from Dallas to Melbourne DEPARTED which meant that I would miss the flight.
I contacted Expedia 10+ times via call & online messaging to which I was given the exact same responses from every agent "please follow up closer to the travel date" or "I haven't been able to get in contact with the airline so I will send an email & follow up with an update in 72 hours"... did the follow up happen? NO!!!!
Today will be the 11th time I have called to get a solution.
Mind you, I contacted the airline directly and they were so easy to get in touch with but said that the TRAVEL AGENT is the one that ultimately decides whether I get charged for just cancelling & rebooking to ensure the flight is made.

I have had great & easy experiences with Expedia but the one time when I need to ensure I make a flight, is the one time I am having troubles!!! So frustrating.

Please train your service agents better as they do not know how to handle specific matters. Giving the same generic answer with no follow through takes away from the integrity of a company.
