They take your money but you don't get the product.
Worst customer service ever and based on reading others’ reviews, I'm not alone in this experience of dismissiveness and barrage of excuses coming from Every Man Jack for its poor products, operations, and customer service. I never got my package and Customer Care / Alyssa's response was basically Too bad, you should have purchased the insurance. In addition to paying for the goods and shipping (or buying additional items I otherwise would not have bought in order to get "free" shipping), the customer must also pay extra in order to actually get the goods??? What a scam.
Unlike credible and reliable companies who work to ensure the customer gets the products they paid for and are happy with them, Every Man Jack takes your money, then washes their hands and couldn’t care less about whether or not their customer receives what they paid EMJ for, or that the delivery service that EMJ hired does the job that the delivery company was hired to do. EMJ’s "Customer Care" / "Customer Support" is apparently set up to come up with endless excuses to screw over the customer rather than actually providing care or support. I'm not even sure why EMJ bothers to send a Delivery Experience survey if EMJ’s response to customers reporting issues is that it's not EMJ’s problem and then point the finger at the customer and/or the delivery service - anyone except EMJ. What a joke.
For a company that sells consumer products in a category that relies on customers making repeated purchases over many years, and EMJ presumably spending money for customer acquisition (such as for the advertisements that I clicked on in order to make the purchase), it’s baffling that they then just throw away their customers and frustrate them so much that not only will such customers never purchase from EMJ again, but had such terrible experiences with EMJ that we'll be sure to spread the word about it.
