From the moment we walked in the Door what great service we was met by Elina Belinska she seemed to understand exactly what I was looking for she spent so much time with us and no pressure selling,looked at all options open to us.... gave an awesome deal never imagined we could afford the car we have purchased, absalute credit to Vauxhall

After some initial problems with unanswered calls/emails from a different service advisor, I ended up speaking with Luan. The difference was chalk and cheese, they dealt with the problem swiftly and courteously. What had been a problem from 24th March was dealt with whilst my car was being serviced. Totally restored my faith in the service at this branch and due to Luan’s help I will be back.

When I arrived for my car service, I did not have to wait around and the staff were prompt in calling me to collect my car.

The reception when i arrived was great and very helpful.

However my I experience of servicing this year was terrible.
My local dealership closed down. So tried to book on line a service with Bedford as advised. Nothing available on the website so logged a request. Received a curt phone call saying there were loads of spaces available but not on website????
In my service plan I get a courtesy car when car is serviced. They told me they couldn't do that but could do a 'while you wait' service. Not what I wanted but opted for it as I live over 30 miles away.

I was not told there were 2 Evans Halshaws in Bedford . Went to wrong one.
When I did eventually arrive at the correct one I was met by a great guy. Who made me relax more.

There is nothing in the area but McDonald's. So opted to sit in the showroom for the hour.....which in the end was nearly 3 hours. YEP 3 HOURS

Timely collection, full information and costing, prompt return of vehicle. Overall everything you could want for your service and MOT.

I had to chase for a update on my car, every time I spoke to someone and asked for a call back or email I received nothing.
When I did get my car back after 3 weeks the check engine light came on after less than a day, it looks like they did not fully repair the car with the issues I had let them know about.

My cars engine light came on and I took I back to the Vauxhall garage - it was explained to me(by Christian the mechanic) that the timing belt had worn down and some parts had gone into the sump, luckily my insurance covered this so I asked for the worn back brakes and a front tyre to be replaced-which are the only items I would have to pay for - My car was ready within 3 days which is great considering the amount of work involved .

Only went in for a recall to do with my car's airbag but was treated like an important customer. Quick, polite and very professionally handled, I was left feeling very impressed.

Took my car for MOT and services. Highly recommended. Christianos was very friendly and answered all my questions regarding my car. Excellent customer service.

I bought my Vauxhall Insignia from Evans Halshaw. I also took put the premium guarantee and the service & MOT plan with them for peace of mind. The car runs perfectly, no issues whatsoever. My MOT came up just over 6 months since purchase. As I had the service plan, it was all booked it as normal. I did my routine checks like tyres, lights, leaks etc, before driving in for my MOT.

I gave my car into Bedford Evans Halshaw. The car came out with a major fail due to fuel leak. The man said they dont know where the leak is coming from but said it could be due to cold weather and pipes can crack etc. He said he was going to have to charge me £180 for a fuel leak investigation. While this came as a complete shock, as i didn't notice any leak where car was parked at home and also no fuel smell in the cabin. My family with 2 children did not notice anything however I accepted that it could happen. This is when I was pleased that I had a premium guarantee to cover any repairs and i was in the right place for it. As soon as I mentioned I had the premium guarantee on it, within 15 mins the major fuel leak was now downgraded to a minor fault caused by the fuel filter. It was removed, replaced and sealed at no cost to me except the £180 for investigation. For me, this is a scam. The MOT which should have been free for a car that was bought from them had failed due to a major fault. My argument with them is that a major fault not caused by me, should be insured by my premium guarantee. Also have you ever known of a car garage, ever replacing a fuel filter that causes a fuel leak to be replaced with no cost. This is a scam and beware of such behaviours by dealers.

Their premium guarantee is a scam and your better off going to reputed garages than them. This is not the first time they have tried to scam me. I had issues when buying the car too.

Update -
Evans Halshaw investigated the matter and the head of the service called me and blatantly accused me of saying I am calling them a liar. Anyway, recently my car broke down again and when I spoke to the premium guarantee company, they informed me that they had paid Evans halshaw for the part and labour and Evans Halshaw should not have charged me any monies on the day. I rest my case and would like a refund and compensation for scamming me please.

My car was serviced on 20th March and several issues were flagged up as urgent on the health check.
The parts were ordered straight away and the repairs were carried out yesterday.
Very satisfied with the service and the advisor was friendly and helpful.

I booked my van in for a first year service last November ,when l arrived you told me it needed 2 recalls,but you managed 1.no parts for the other,this should have been ordered when it was booked in???
When l arrived l told the you l wanted a new door lock and asked for you to order the correct part and fitted on another date.when l collected my van none off this was done????. You then told me that you would be in contact to arrange the second recall ,you have contacted me twice since and both times l have pointed out that I am still waiting for the door lock to be replaced and was told that you be in touch soon this is now six months on and both issues have not been resolved.
I deeply regret taking my van too you because I feel that I have had really bad experience,but l am looking forward to your feedback.disappointed customer
