Evans Halshaw - Vauxhall Wakefield Arvostelua 

Waited 3 1/2 hours for a service. Had to chase up after 2 hours when told a new tyre was needed. 1 1/2 hours later the tyre was fitted! Nobody came to see if I was ok, apologise for the delay. The coffee machine was not working for normal coffee. I was the second person in in the morning too. Never again!

Purchased a Brand new Vauxhall Grandland from Stuart and what a fantastic service i received. He listened to my needs and got me the perfect car for me. He even fitted my dog guard so it was all set up for my 4 legged not so little boy. If you want flawless service then stuart is the man to see.

Tommy showed endless patience when dealing with us ( we're old school technophobes) he found us the car we wanted at another dealership, and had it delvered to wakefield for a test drive. He went above and beyond for us, so thank you Tommy, you were brilliant.

Lovely service staff dealt with me brilliantly. Kept me informed and managed my expectations. Really friendly and attentive.

Arrived on site at 0830 for a pre-booked recall. The site was crammed with vehicles, some abandoned, causing serious issues. I eventually parked in the compound at the rear, obstructing 6 parked vehicles. I had no choice, but left a note in the windscreen explaining where the keys would be located.
I was informed the car would be ready for 1400, but would receive a phone call once it had been cleaned.
I received the call at 1200 to say it was ready (2 hours early - well chuffed)
The reception lady came out with me to locate the car, which was found on the sales pitch - not cleaned.
I mentioned it to her and received an apology.
The service received from reception was excellent.
The time to sort the car was excellent.
Slightly disappointed it wasn't cleaned, but hey ho, can't win them all.
The parking situation is in total dissaray.
If I was a potential customer wanting to spend mega money on a new car, and not being able to park, I would have driven out and located another
dealership.
Somebody in management needs to get a grip and ensure the whole site is fit for purpose.
No excuses, no polite reply to this review - just do it before serious damage or worse occurs.

Excellent customer service and support throughout my experience at Evans Halshaw- Vauxhall Wakefield. Daryl has been absolutely fantastic at helping to fix my car which has had a multitude of issues which needed communication with Land Rover as well as with his own team. Brilliant communication and support throughout, and lovely staff working on the service front desk too. Best experience I’ve had with a car company (and I’ve experienced a few!) Many thanks to all the team, and especially Daryl!

Just had a MAJOR service carried out on a two year old car at Evans Halshaw Wakefield as part of their service plan. The service consisted of oil and filter change and air and pollen filter change. That's it. As it is a manufacturers recommendation that the brake fluid be changed every two years I would expect that the brake fluid be changed as standard as part of a two year major service. Obviously not. Very disappointing.

My beautiful Grandland (can you tell i love this car) was called in for a bit of a fix, im in a wheelchair so wife came with . We met Daryl (who is a Rupert) he with his staff looked after our car and us the whole team did Vauxhall proud thankyou .

My wife’s just got her first expensive car on finance. We were looked after by Chris. Great service and communication explaining all the details. She’s very happy with the Vauxhall Mokka - very smooth purchase

I brought my car in for a software upgrade, after the diagnostic i was told an upgrade wasn't needed & further checks weren't required.
20 minutes later i got a call to say further checks had been done, a fault had been found at an extra cost of £78.
I was given a time it would be ready but i was kept waiting for an extra 50 minutes.
When i enquired as to why the further checks had been done when i was told it wasn't necessary i didn't get an answer but i wasn't charged the extra £78.
All very unusual.
I won't be using EH again.

I recently bought a used car from Evans Halshaw in Wakefield. The car salesman was Tommy-he was extremely helpful and friendly, he kept in regular contact throughout the whole process. He was not pushy and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely the guy to see!

From start to finish we’ve been lied to or misled from this dealership. Son reserved a car online, from the moment he reserved the vehicle, we’ve been lied to continuously. A month waiting for the vehicle to be ready, picked up and even before arriving home, the car was showing a fault on the dash. After finally getting home, and calling the garage, they admit that some of the work which was promised, hadn’t materialized. Partner took the car into his workplace to be checked, and 3 stored faults was noted, a health check was also done via the company, which noted measurements under Lithia prep standards. Wasn’t until Lithia head office was contacted that anything was done regarding the car. Only just got car back from Wakefield now after 2wks and still some of the issues hasn’t been addressed. Asked to speak to Dealership Principal on 6 occasions and each time was told he was unavailable. Will now need to contact Lithia Head Office again regarding various issues. Only found one salesperson (Byron) extremely helpful and understanding. Never again will any of our family/friends use this particular garage. Definitely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
