Bought a car from the dealership with extended warranty. After 5 months engine overheated and had to be taken in. A very lengthy process which was sorted in the end but it took the good part of a month which is crazy. Poor experience with the updates as I was the one calling all the time. Delays after delays with the case and then with delivering the parts. Also had another issue from when I bought the car and they confirmed it was sorted but upon getting in the car in their car park the issue was still there. Had to take the car anyway as promised will check why it wasn’t actually sorted and call me back in 1..2 days. Never has a call 2m later. Also .. it really matters how you had the car back to the customer..a wash would be nice as it’s been with you for a month. I am happy the main issue was sorted but sadly the whole experience and somewhat the duty of care was missing..it was not an easy journey by all means and the thought I might need you again in the future doesn’t give me comfort. I don’t know if this is the usual practice as it seems you have great reviews but my experience wasn’t great.

I was kept informed regarding pricing for replacement parts and repairing and a clean car delivered back to me when finished. A very good job thank you

Reserved a car on Thursday to purchase on Saturday (5th April). Visited the Mansfield branch Saturday to find out the car could not be driven away that day due to a fault with the air bag sensor. However, went along and paid for the car in full, I was told the car would be ready on Wednesday. I was contacted Tuesday to be told it wouldn't be ready, however, they pushed it forward so it would be ready by Wednesday as promised. They rang today to tell me the car had rejected the sensor, now telling me the part wouldn't arrive until July. They did look into a couple of options, however, out of my price range, so I requested a full refund. Searching later this evening, the car is back up for sale. Surely if the car had a fault it should not be on the forecourt for someone to purchase, definitely not if I was told July for the part.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Not a good experience from beginning to end, poor customer service unfortunately. I would not recommend Evans Halshaw!!

We saw an MG HS advertised and arranged with Tim (Brown) to take a test drive.Right from the start Tim was easy to talk to.Helpful and took interest in why we were looking at the MG.He was committed to helping us from the test drive through until we picked up the car .It was a fair deal and the car will hopefully live up to our expectations.Tim was all you expect from someone who has to communicate effectively to customers.Thank you Tim.

MATT neath is great, I turned up on a Sunday afternoon, chose a car and drove away on Wednesday. Brilliant friendly service from all the guys here, ill be back for my next car.

They got me booked in and back on the road everything you would expect from a garage. Customer service fantastic.

My issue started on the 28/09/24, A malfunction in the seat sensor and seat belt. Kept beeping without anyone in the seat. Plugging in the belt solved the problem day to day, It was late on a Saturday and my extended warranty runs on on the 29/09/24.
I called the dealership and was told to email a member of the team, Let them know what was wrong and that would keep it covered by the warranty.
I was called on the Monday, but first booking was a month later on the 29/10/24. The car went in and was scanned etc, The fault was the seat sensor and seat belt latch I think. The next issues was the sensor was not in stock, Had to be made in China etc. Four month wait.
The parts arrived in Feb 25, due to a member of staff leaving no one knew to call me, Lucky I called to see what was going on. I spoke to Jordan, a very nice and polite gentleman. He looked into the issue and found my parts, booked me in 3 days later.
After fitting I though the parts were not working correctly & was booked in for them to check. The technician came out to explain that the new parts required an update when fitted and work slightly differently than before. Instead of 7 red seat dots on a screen the front two, do not light unless sat in now.
I would have given 5 stars, but a 4 month wait for parts is just not acceptable.
( Not the dealerships fault ) It was Peugeot's fault.
The car was safe to drive all the time.
A six month wait from start to finish gets 4 Stars.

I was looking for a first car as I’d just passed my test recently. My dad and I were served by ‘Mohammed’ and our experience couldn’t have been better. He helped me find the exact car I wanted and helped us through the whole process. I was made to feel comfortable in my test drive. There wasn’t a time my dad and I felt worried or stressed. Amazing customer service. Would recommend to anyone.
