Evans Halshaw - Hyundai Leeds Arvostelua 

Although I had over an 8 week wait (which is just not good service time) to repair a faulty horn I finally got it repaired. LEEDS GELDARD RD HYUNDAI
All the staff Dan & service manager were very helpful and I can only praise their friendliness & work. Tony the mechanic was particularly helpful and did my repair-he’s was lovely. The service manager was great too. All the sales staff there are always helpful, friendly & funny. I really like the vibe here just a shame they clearly don’t have the space or staff to deal with the servicing of all the cars they sell. Sort this out Evan’s halshaw & you’ll have a cracking place on geldard road.

Went in to enquire about a new vehicle and met with sales person Morgan. Had a great experience. A really genuine sales person, friendly, helpful and not pushy in the least. He took the time to understand what I was looking for and my budget. I really liked the new Sante Fe and he worked really hard with his team to get me the best deal he could. While I wasn’t able close the deal today, I’ll certainly be back in a few months when my current deal expires. Thank you Morgan. It was a pleasure to deal with a really genuine and friendly person.

Waiting for months on a new part that I have paid for already. Failed to proactively warn me that part hadn't arrived ahead of arranged service.
No follow up, impossible to get hold of service department on the phone. Email and chat enquires have gone unanswered.
Had time after last service to phone me at least 3 times about leaving a 5 star review for internal process, which says a lot about their priorities.
Currently do not think I would purchase again from them once current PCP deal runs out.

If there was a zero star then l would. From the start of purchasing a car from them in April it was calamitous!! Date set to collect the car where changed via email on the morning of, no phone call, took another 12 days to prepare the car. After numerous attempts to speak to someone in branch to no avail l decided to contact Head Office !! 6 emails and 11 phone calls to them, going through their own complaint procedures, nothing 😡 absolutely nothing in return. Hyundai Leeds & the Lithia Group must be the worst Car Dealership & Company that l have EVER dealt with. Save your time, money & energy and use another Dealer

I recently had my second-year service completed at Evans Hyundai Leeds. Symbert, my Service Advisor, was very helpful, kept me informed throughout, and provided the reports I requested. Subhan also assisted promptly by resolving an issue professionally.

However, I was disappointed to discover at collection that the cabin air filter had not been replaced, despite it being marked as replaced on the invoice. After I raised this, the service team investigated, acknowledged the oversight, and replaced it immediately.

I appreciate the honest response and quick resolution, but this highlights the importance of stronger quality checks. Customers trust that work listed on the invoice has been completed, and many would not think to verify it themselves. I hope this feedback helps improve quality control and maintain the high standard of service expected.

Terrible.. sold me a car full of faults ..reported this less than 60 days after purchasing and now 6 motnh down the line refusing to fix the issues.. over 12k of repairs required but apparently if not on mot checklist it qualifies for evans Halshaw quality assurance..avoid this place and do not buy a car.. if a porsche macan s is up for sale LA16AEK then just be advised it needs a lot of work

I can be particular and persistent when making a purchase especially when I wanted it to be so right. I was contacted by Ellie Kiyak who is a Genesis Personal Assistant working with Evans Halshaw following a communication with Genesis. She was able to facilitate the sale of my new Genesis GV70 and answer all of my many queries in a manner in which I really felt like a cherished guest within the process. Even post sale she has been excellent with my other enquiries. The sale also included the transfer of the car to the Genesis Studio in Edinburgh where it was formally handed over. I am over the moon with the car and the quality of service and delivery by both Ellie Kiyak and Evans Halshaw. I would without hesitation contact Ellie Kiyak for another vehicle as the purchase and acquisition was faultless.

Everyone I have had contact with has been friendly and professional.

Extremely poor communication and service regarding a promised spare key

I had a very bad experience dealing with both Evans Halshaw Hyundai Hull and Hyundai Leeds. It was a complete communication failure on their end.

Here is what happened:

The Purchase: I bought a used car from Hull. They promised me a spare key before I signed the contract. After I signed, I had to chase them constantly to get it.

The Delays: Hull told me Leeds would call me to arrange it, but they never did. After chasing them again, I finally got an appointment at Leeds 3 weeks later.

The Payment Confusion: At the first Leeds appointment, they didn't know Hull was paying for the key, even though Hull had already emailed them. We finally got that sorted, but they made me wait another 1.5 months for the actual key programming appointment.

The Programming Day: On the day of the programming, Leeds demanded £100 upfront to start the process. I asked the service advisor to check his emails showing Hull was paying, but he said he couldn't see anything and refused to look further.

The Pickup: I specifically told them I needed my car back that day because I had work the next morning. They called me at 5:48 PM to say the car was ready. They close at 6:00 PM. It is impossible to get there in 12 minutes.

Overall, this is seriously bad service. I regret buying my car from them, and I am very worried about using them for future car servicing.

We drive an electric Hyundai and they went out of their way to get us an electric courtesy car. It was a different model to ours and they came out and talked us through the controls.

Flexible, gave lots of information

very straight forward

As per feedback online booking £283, Service reception stating £405. I was lied to and ripped off.

There is no one to answer the Services line at the Dealership. I had a service done on my car and the next day i had the check engine light appear on my car.
