Limbo
Limbo.
They have had my EV a week now (second visit) and not done a thing.
First time it went in (won’t charge on DC) they just sent it back saying there’s nothing wrong. They literally can’t test it on DC as they don’t have a DC charger and no company card to test public charging HOW IS THAT MY PROBLEM?
They refused to look at it as they had no ‘proof’, didn’t call me or anything just returned it to Available Car who have also been awful.
Second time now it took them literally 4 days to even look at it, then they asked the basic questions that we went through already and had NO RECORD of it coming in before. I emailed them with a detailed list of troubleshooting I had done which nobody can find. To be asked ‘did you try another charger’ seven weeks in after going through everything multiple times on the phone and emailing details of everything across is beyond annoying.
It’s now ‘with technical’ at Hyundai HQ and has been for 48 hours. They can’t chase for updates as it’s all through a portal so I’m just waiting. Technical are apparently going to tell them what to do and how to fix it, but without access to fast chargers how will they know if anything is fixed?

I am extremely disappointed with the…
I am extremely disappointed with the level of service and communication I received. I left my car in for a service and was told via the service review/check that the car was completed around 12pm. Despite this, nobody contacted me at all during the day to let me know it was ready.
When I arrived at 5:30pm to collect the car, I was told “they must have gone home,” even though the dealership closing time was clearly stated as 6pm. After escalating the issue to management, no manager ever got back to me.
The courtesy car situation was also unacceptable. I was given a manual petrol car despite being used to driving an electric automatic vehicle, and it only had around 30 miles of fuel/range left on it when I had already explained I needed the car the following morning. While technically driveable, it was completely unsuitable for my circumstances.
What made the experience worse was the complete lack of apology or accountability. Everything was brushed off as though this level of service is normal. One staff member even responded to my complaint by saying the service review “is not an indication of when the car is ready.” I have been taking cars in for services and MOTs for over 20 years, and if there are no issues, I have always at the very least received the car back the same day with proper communication and usually cleaned inside and out — something else that was not done here.
This was especially disappointing as the vehicle is used for a disabled person, making communication and suitable arrangements even more important.
Overall, very poor customer service, poor communication, and no ownership taken when concerns were raised as of 14/5/2026

Overall, I am quite satisfied with the repair process. However, it often takes a long time for someone to answer the phone, and no one picked up during previous attempts to make arrangements. On the positive side, the staff are generally very polite. One area for improvement would be ensuring that calls are answered promptly, especially when customers need to make a booking.
