To say there are two companies on site very much lack of space ,but overall was happy with what I got .

I booked my car in for a service and MOT shortly before Christmas. Following this, I was advised that the car required a new suspension set on the front driver’s side. I then booked my car in again for mid-January to have this work completed when I collected it from the service.

I was a little suspicious that the booking hadn’t been completed correctly, as I never received any confirmation. I therefore phoned the dealership in early January to confirm that my car was booked in and that I also had a loan car arranged. Both were confirmed over the phone.

However, when I arrived to drop my car off for the repair work, there was an issue finding my paperwork and there was no record of the loan car booking. Fortunately, there happened to be a loan car available for me to use, but I’m not sure what I would have done if there hadn’t been one.

When dropping my car off, I also mentioned to the service care employee that I suspected my front tyre had a slow puncture and asked if this could be checked and, if possible, fixed at the same time. The employee wrote a quick note on a post-it note and stuck it to the front of my file, which didn’t fill me with confidence that this would actually be looked at.

The next day, I didn’t hear anything from the dealership about the progress of the repair. I eventually decided to phone at around 3pm to ask whether the car would be ready to collect. The employee I spoke to confirmed that the repair work had been completed and that my car was waiting to be tested for an MOT. I was surprised by this, as the car is not due for an MOT until December 2026. The employee apologised for the mistake and told me he would call back to confirm whether the car would be ready to collect.

I was phoned at around 4pm to confirm that the car was ready. I asked whether the tyre had been looked at and was told that it had a slow puncture due to damage to the alloy and that the dealership could not repair this. I understood this, but asked whether the tyre could be reinflated so that I could drive the car home safely. The employee on the phone agreed that this would be done.

I was concerned that I would not be able to get to the dealership in time for 5pm closing, as I was only told at around 4:10pm that the car was ready to collect. I asked whether I could instead collect my car the following day; however, I was told that the loan car was booked out for the next day and that I would need to return it either that evening or by 8am the following morning. Due to work commitments, I would be unable to return it by 8am, so I had no option but to go to the dealership that evening.

When I arrived to collect my car, I asked the service care employee at the desk for a bit more information regarding my tyre. The employee checked the computer system but could not find any record of the tyre having been checked or looked at. At this point I was so fed up that I decided to leave and get home.

When I got into my car, the puncture warning light quickly appeared on the dashboard, clearly showing that the tyre had not been reinflated as I had been assured it would be. I then had to limp home via a petrol station to put air in the tyre.

Overall, while the staff I spoke to were polite and helpful, the booking, communication, and record-keeping process felt disorganised and caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. I would appreciate more reliable confirmation of bookings, clearer communication, and better follow-through on agreed actions in future.

I got a video of the mechanic checking my car during a recall,which was very reassuring. Once again an excellent and professional visit.
