Oh dear... Eurovision Song Contest 😟
Most of the opinions that I saw were calling this years event a crap show. I had a look at all of the entries and yes it has moved with the times. More visuals, more dance moves and... much more flesh.
Its come a long way since Bucks Fizz, Cliff Richard and Abba.🤣

Most of it was not as bad as I had expected though. Even songs in their native tongue, had a beat to them. Some nice costumes and some artists were even able to play their own instruments.

BUT... and here we go:
What has turned this iconic and once family friendly show, watched by millions into a sideshow is... certain minorities pushing their... Agendas. This is a song contest and not a platform for the aggrieved.

Ireland pushing the satanic agenda
Switzerland (the overall winner) pushing non binary
The United Kingdom pushing homosexuality

Our entry, to be quite honest with you was a bloody embarrassment. The song was rubbish and the video of young men prancing about in an urinal??... Very classy.
I can just see all the grandmothers, tapping their foot to that one..... My God, give me strength. 😣 No wonder you got zero points. You were little short of pathetic.

Some of the acts belonged in a Soho flesh den and of course, we had to get some Israel bashing in... Israel, has every right to be there. Politics, should not come into it.
Israel's singer had to endure some nasty & vile behaviour from certain groups 😡 but managed to come a healthly #5 in the contest... So well done Israel.

Eurovision`s motto is United by Music. All I saw, was a MASSIVE divide, that will get even worse over the years. If the organizers of the Eurovision Song Contest, do not get a grip on this insidious mindset and stop being led by minorities and those that have a political axe to grind.

Sorry, aber das ist doch der absolute Hammer dass man so viel Geld und Zeit investiert für solch einen Schwachsinn.
Keiner kann singen oder selber in keine anständigen Klamotten rumlaufen kann.
Wie blöd ist denn unser Volk? , um solch einen Schwachsinn zu begaffen.
Nichts gegen die Schweizer, aber was muss ich nehmen um solche Bewertungen zu begegnen.

Schafft den ESC endlich ab. Zwei drittel der Songs sind Muell. Nemo als Sieger ist furchtbar. Eine huepfende, quietschende Person die nicht singen kann. Die Auftritte der meisten Teilnehmer sind eine Katastrophe. Jede Drugqueen sieht besser aus. Es reicht vollkommen den Schnelldurchlauf anzuschauen

Been watching the finals for many a year now but this one was embarrassing; especially the British entry which was tantamount to a gay porno. It was so bad that bibles across Europe stared tutting uncontrollably.
Also the hosts were a bit starchy.

KATASTROPHE.Das hat mit Musik nichts mehr zu tun.Wo sind die guten Musiker hin.Ausserdem was hat Musik mit Politik zu tun.Musik soll verbinden.Pfui,sofort abschaffen Schade um das Geld.Da hat man wieder gesehen wie es um unsere Welt bestellt ist.Musik ist Liebe und Kunst.Aber Wenn keine liebenden Herzen mehr da sind ist keine gute Musik mehr möglich. l0rte show + holland blev disket for ingen grund, men israel må stadig være med efter at have været efter flere artister og journalister? vildt.

EBU does not follow its own rules.
One contestant was disqualified because his personal space was breached.
But the other contestants were not disqualified for using other flags than their country (EBU does not allow to use not your country flag)
Also how situations were handled was disproportionate and at points just awkward to watch.

In my opinion Eurovision lost it's way a few years back, and this year, is by far the WORST EVER!. This latest is a abomination of the majority of countries entries. I seriously question the morality, & talent of the majority of acts. NO LONGER a contest of SINGING talent, it has become an event of Who's has the most outlandish, bizarre or should I say weird costume, make up & dance routine. Gymnastic act in the case of the UK entry. Over riding what they should be aiming for; A HIT SONG.WHY OH WHY!. Where was the natural true talent of SONG!, after all it's meant to be a SINGING contest. Songs sung with Audible clarity, emotion & meaning with memorable lyrics!. Take a look at winners & runner ups from 60's, 70's, 80', & 90's Eurovision, which had all of the above. Most of us can remember those lyrics. Those of this year 2024 DO NOT LEAVE A LASTING IMPRESSION. Their brief should be a Song with depth, emotion, AND sung with AUDIBLE tone & delivery.
Please PLEASE Please Eurovision a return to normality AND don't pander to minority groups.

Eurovision song contest it doesn't really reflect any contest it presents disturbing carracters and an appropriate bulli personalities behaviour about evel, death and sex is a bad influence for the world.

Absolutely dreadful show. This is no longer a song competition but about who can be the most shocking. Totally inappropriate acts by the UK and Finland. Absolute rubbish, the lot of it and I've been a Eurovision fan for years.

This wasn't Eurovision .It dated back to the old show Eurotrash.

Trauriges Ergebniss. Eigentlich hätte Kroatien gewonnen aber die Jury entscheidet sich für die Schweiz. Warum wählen die Zuschauer, wenn es der Jury egal ist ? Lassen Sie das Volk entscheiden,den nur das sollte zählen . Alles andere ist Politik vom ESC . Trauriges Entscheidung für die wahren Gewinner.

I have to give 1 star, after seeing who win yesterday and how all the juries gave 12 points to Switzerland no jury gave 12 point to Croatia song and, how can juries vote for netherlands after reading they didnt not want give sny 12 points to anyone, but the juŕies decided to give 12 point to Switzerland, how does that work, you should leave it for public to vote. I think this sll fixed and this isn't a song contest its all about politics, that just wrong, you need to get a new juries, 1 start

Diese komplette Veranstaltung kann man in den Eimer klopfen. 95% der Darbietungen haben mit Gesang und Musik nichts mehr zu tun. Sprechgesang, schlechte bis keine Stimmen und unmusikalische Begleitung, von Harmonien kann gar nicht mehr gesprochen werden, beherrschen die Darbietungen.
Gut daß wenigstens die vorderen Ränge noch ein wenig entschädigen, obwohl auch der 2. Platz zu den schlechten Darbietungen zu zählen ist.

Einfach eine Zumutung!

Das ist keinen Cent mehr wert!

Dafür zahlen wir zwangsweise auch noch Gebühren.

Gerade der öffentlich rechtliche Rundfunk sollte hier andere Maßstäbe ansetzen und auf solche Sendungen im Zweifelsfall verzichten.

Es ist extrem schade was aus dem ESC geworden ist, die Qualität der Musik muss sich mittlerweile hinter Bewertung der Bühnenshow und Backstory des Songs/Künstlers verstecken. Die Hälfte aller Songs in diesem Jahr sind für einen normal sterblichen ungenießbar, und deren dazugehörige Bühnenshow lausig bis peinlich. Ich will jetzt nicht darauf eingehen ob die Ergebnisse und Gewinner schon vor dem Start der Veranstaltung feststehen… und wer wem Punkte in den Ar*** schiebt um inter-europäische Beziehungen zu verbessern.
Leider sind repetitive Muster bei vielen Künstlern zu erkennen, die Einzigartigkeit der Musik allein fehlt schon…

Erkaufter und Bestechlicher Müll der mit Musik und Europa nix mehr zu tun hat. Schade

What was right about it. NOTHING. This is no longer a SONG contest. Something has gone very wrong. Too many acts are like a circus act. Outrageous costumes. Too much is being spent on technology. Ridiculous songs which are not in the least representative of the countries style of good music. The lyrics are gabbled and repetitive. A dreadful experience. It has gone over the top. A HUGE REVIEW NEEDED BEFORE NEXT YEAR.
