The staff was very helpful i only wish that the store in west quay waited till after christmas before it closed as i cannot buy a surprise gift now

Can not Thank Ella in the Southampton branch enough, for her excellent customer service, efficiency and knowledge when swapping my engagement ring for another. Ella was so knowledgable about each stone and truly went above and beyond when helping us, nothing was too much trouble. She was great! Thank you so much :)

Do not buy from this company! ive travelled to 3 stores 70 miles trying to get a refund for a watch i bought. 1st store refused as they didnt stock the item. 2nd store closed 20 minutes earlier than they advertised over the web. 3rd store the lady manager at southampton was so rude i could not believe she was in customer service! i rang the "resolutions team" and they do absolutely nothing and could not care less no resolution just "nothing we can do". honestly the worst company i have ever dealt with only care if your spending money in their store. your staff need some serious training its abysmal.

I purchased a new Omega watch from their Portsmouth Branch. The watch failed during the warranty period and was taken to their West Quay branch for repair. They said it could take up to three months to repair !!. It gets worse, the watch was left with them in December 22. I telephoned them on the 29 of April to enquire if the watch was ready. It appears that the watch was back in their possession but failed to inform us due to total incompetence. We wanted a full refund as the watch was not fit for purpose but they challenged and denied any responsibility.

Amy in the Southampton branch was amazing. Very helpful and informative. Made us feel very special buying the engagement rings.

What a amazing experience at this store very patient and kept me informed about my new watch purchase the Omega constellation range as very undecided about what watch brand to purchase they managed to order other watches in with out any pressure to purchase .the lovely store manager Ella was very honest and her assistant both very patient whilst I chose my purchase , I will 100% return for any other watch or jewellery purchases and would recommend this store , I am very happy with the experience and the whole process as very professional, I’ve been looking to buy a watch for a few weeks and felt a pressure to buy from other jewellery shops but not here ,

I bought an engagement ring last year and was advised that platinum is the best setting for the diamonds.I took great care to only wear the engagement ring when not working.Therefore was shocked to find a stone was missing.I took the ring back to the shop of purchase and was told a repair would be carried out free of charge as the ring was still under guarantee. The assistant stated that we would receive a quotation for the cost of repair which should be ignored as this was standard procedure.Upon collection I was presented with a bill for £291 stating that the guarantee was void as the ring had impact damage.This was not the case. My disappointment at being sold a faulty ring was therefore compounded by effectively having my honesty questioned- buying your engagement ring and all it symbolises should be a happy memory but now I feel not only let down but insulted. Needless to say I will not purchasing from Ernest Jones again or recommending anyone I know takes that risk either.

Took my Tag watch into the Southampton branch to be sent to Tag for a battery replacement, with an agreed return date of 6th May 2022. Four days later I was contacted to advise that my battery had been changed and was ready for collection. The reason for the swiftness was that they had completed the battery change in-house rather than returning it to Tag Heuer as agreed. Customer Service are just dismissive and the branch manager just wants to offer a 10% discount. Totally disgusted and definitely feel that I have been scammed!

I attended the Southampton store Sunday morning due to getting a ring well and truly stuck on my finger. The staff were so friendly, kind and kept my mind focused on other things, as I was in pain by this point. They managed to cut the ring off my finger without causing me any more pain. Without them, I'd probably would of had to go to A and E (other shop did not have a trained person in it), and the NHS have more important to do than cut a ring. Thank you

My first real day shopping and I was drawn to Ernest Jones without much
trouble. I am usually more thoughtful before buying any luxury item but it didn't take much to choose a beautiful watch. The assistants were patient and very helpful. It was a perfect purchase and I love my new watch!
