Tietoja yrityksestä EnChroma

Yrityksen kirjoittama

Enchroma are an independent, Berkeley, California-based company that develops leading patented lens technology to improve the lives of people with color vision deficiency (color blindness). Invented by a Ph.D. glass scientist and UC Berkeley trained mathematician, EnChroma’s revolutionary color vision solutions combine the latest in color perception neuroscience and lens innovation to bring colorful possibilities to all.

EnChroma received a SBIR grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and earned the 2016 Tibbets Award from the U.S. Small Business Administration in recognition of the firm’s innovative impact on the human experience through technology. We offer a collection of color blind glasses for outdoor and indoor use in a range of modern styles for adults and kids 5+. The glasses are specifically designed for anomalous trichromats, helping those with deuteranomaly and protanomaly improve their color vision. Imagine you're listening to music, and some sounds are too loud and muddy, making it hard to hear all the different instruments clearly.

An equalizer (EQ) on a stereo can turn down just those specific muddy sounds. This actually helps you hear the other instruments and details in the music much better. EnChroma lenses do something similar for color. For people with color blindness certain colors overlap and look confusingly alike. These lenses filter down very specific, narrow bits of light that cause this confusion. Discover our ground-breaking color blindness glasses engineered to bring vibrant color to your world. 60-Day Money Back Guarantee.

My nephew was excited to receive indoor color!

My nephew was excited to receive these indoor glasses to allow improved color vision inside to compliment the outdoor glasses he received last year. He reports darker color visibility. The outdoor ones already seem to have shown him greater color variety, and these were less retraining instead reinforcing brilliant colors indoor.

5 pairs of EnChroma glasses

I own 5 pairs of EnChroma glasses. I started with the original lenses many years ago. They were an absolute game changer. Over the last few years I've purchased updated outdoor models and several pairs of indoor models. Recently I've added the indoor safety glasses version for work. They've been huge upgrade for working in a manufacturing environment. After years of wearing these, I can now look at a color without wearing these, and know what the color should look like. One of the best investments I've made.

Tried EnChroma glasses and noticed a big change straight away. Colours are much easier to tell apart, especially greens, yellows, and reds that used to blend together. Everything looks brighter and less flat, like the world has more depth now. Nature stands out more clearly too, with trees, mountains, and the sky all looking more defined instead of blending together.

I’m hoping to get a prescription pair for astigmatism at some point. Right now I’m using clip-ons over my prescription glasses. They’ve also helped a lot with gardening, especially spotting weeds. Red in particular has improved a lot for me, sometimes it used to look almost black, but with the glasses it shows up as a clear, vibrant red.

Easy to order

Easy to order. Helpful to me when I couldn’t find the information on the prescription that they needed. Then when I was able to send them a picture of it, they made a mistake by reading it improperly. But corrected the mistake when I pointed it out to them. I got the glasses and my husband is thrilled.

My frames broke, I sent picture in and without hesitation had replacement frames 5 days later. Great customer service experience all the way around!
