Absoluter Müll! Wurde gebannt weil ich geschimpft habe während viele Spieler ständig das N... Wort sagen und nicht gebannt werden, vor 16 Tagen habe ich ein Ticket abgeschickt und bis heute keine Antwort bekommen, absoluter Müllhaufen, nie wieder Embark und ich kann es auch nicht weiterempfehlen.
Poor support
Guys grew fast and I understand it's perhaps hard to scale up the support teams to handle the load, but this is unaceptable. Months after the game launched and their team takes weeks to respond and every response is 'we're still looking at your case'. I lost access to Arc Raiders and they made no attempt to help.

absolutely positively the WORST company/studio ive ever purchased from and attempted to get into contact with their support team. they send ONE automated ai support message and then never respond to the ticket for months and then their game is broken falsely banning legitimate players by the thousands while the actual cheater run rampid and theyve dont NOTHING TO CORRECT THE ISSUE. 1/10 do not recommend buying this game. i bought 6 copies for myself, my kids, and 2 buddies and ive requested for refunds already.

Only giving 1 star because I cannot give 0. Game is good, but the studio is trash and since we are reviewing the studio, they deserve the lowest rating. Lack of communication and support is unbelievable for a game of this scale. Embraressing Studios.

Worst customer service ever. No answer on the chatbot and no answer through email. I paid the $40 and can't access the game. Don't waste your $$$ on this company.

Die Entwickler haben etwas geschaffen, was seines gleichen suchte.....
Sie hatten es durch ein einzigartiges Matchmakingsystem ermöglicht, dass PvP Spieler auf selbige stießen und PvE Spieler von Diesen "Bad Guy" fast vollständig verschont blieben....
Ein Spiel für zwei Spielerschaften...?
Seit einigen Wochen werden die überaus zufriedenen PvE Spieler mit Füßen getreten und das matchmakingsysrem scheint ausgesetzt. Gewollt oder ungewollt ist hier die große Frage. Seit einem Patch vor ein paar Wochen funktioniert nichts mehr wie es einmal war. Das Spiel wird regelrecht kaputt gepatched.
Diesen Umfang an eifrigem Engagement zum zetstören eines Spiels kannte man bislang nur von Ubisoft. Zuletzt bei "The Division"!

Probably the worst support I’ve ever experienced. Was issued a 30 day ban. First off they don’t even tell you why so sorry if you paid for a game and get flagged by their terrible anti cheat. Second when you go to submit a ticket for it they ask you to provide details to help them like really?? I have no clue why I’m banned how would you like me to submit proof? 3rd I haven’t heard back from anybody for about 18 days now besides an automated message saying we haven’t forgot about your ticket. Sono molto deluso dalla scelta di design che impedisce ai giocatori di scegliere chiaramente tra PvE e PvP.
Il sistema di matchmaking “basato sul comportamento” è poco trasparente, frustrante e inefficace. Costringere i giocatori a modificare artificialmente il proprio stile di gioco per “sperare” di finire in lobby più PvE non è una soluzione accettabile, ma una forzatura che rovina l’esperienza.
ARC Raiders ha un’ottima atmosfera e un PvE interessante, ma l’assenza di una modalità PvE separata o di un semplice toggle PvE/PvP allontana chi vuole giocare in modo cooperativo senza essere continuamente coinvolto in PvP non desiderato.
Questa scelta non aumenta la tensione: genera solo frustrazione e fa sentire il giocatore ignorato.
Molti utenti vorrebbero continuare a giocare, ma non a queste condizioni.
Chiedo seriamente di:
introdurre modalità separate PvE e PvP
oppure permettere una scelta chiara e diretta prima di entrare in partita
Ignorare questa richiesta rischia di far perdere una parte importante della community.

Absolut grottenschlechtester Support wenn man Hilfe braucht ist man verlassen den der Support antwortet im Grunde überhaupt nicht warte schon mehr als 24 Stunden und keine Antwort einfach nur Bodenlos das ganze. Da hilft nur Spiel löschen und nie wieder was von embark ist zu kaufen.
Terrible customer support / eu laws violation
Customer support in gaming often only gets to work when there is significant online drop or the store doesn't work. I contacted support (discord) because I was experiencing lag spikes, and after testing, I found that Finals is the only game lagging for me today. This prevents me from playing ranked matches and spoils the experience for both my teammates and me, as my character simply can't move. The support team responded with “everything is good” seeming to believe I have nothing better to do than imagine non-existent lag. Their attitude feels like “we don't care, try again later” and I don't understand what these support agents are paid for.
UPDATE:
I don’t know whether this is related or not, but very shortly after my review was published, my Embark account was blocked (Xbox console) for the reason stated as: “we have confirmed the use of software or tools that provide an unfair advantage in the game.”
In other words, the wording itself (“this OR that”) suggests a lack of clarity regarding the actual reason for the ban. My attempt to request concrete evidence has so far been unsuccessful - I have received no response.
I have spent my own money on this game, and recovering it has now become a matter of principle rather than the amount itself.
In light of recent changes in EU and German digital services laws, platforms are now subject to stricter transparency and consumer protection requirements (including under the Digital Services Act), and they can no longer dismiss account bans without clear justification. If this issue is not resolved, I will escalate the matter by submitting complaints to the relevant German and EU consumer protection authorities, including but not limited to:
• the European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net),
• Verbraucherzentrale (German Consumer Protection Agency),
• the Federal Office of Justice (Bundesamt für Justiz),
• recognized Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) bodies,
• and other competent regulatory or legal authorities in Germany.

Not overly happy. So my steam got hacked also wasnt happy about, but got that figured everything was all good after the fact. Go to play ARC and bam banned, ok sweet get ahold of Embark studios and make a ban appel included all the info needed even threw in my steam support ticket to prove the fact my steam did Infact get hacked. Basically got told to go hoop my hat. If I could give embark negative 5 stars I would.

In arc raiders how about you change the mechanics for using a zip line and reloading I can’t tell you how many times I’m fighting arc and when I reload I end up going up or down the zip toward the enemy which ends up getting me killed! I’m tired of this bs it SHOULDNT BE THE SAME MECHANICS AS RELOAD ESPECIALLY DURING FIREFIGHTS! F u embark for how much loot I’ve lost just from your zip line! It’s infuriating how lazy you are
