Eden Mobility - York Arvostelua 

Just visited Marie and Dale at the York store on Hull Road. Both ladies could not have been more helpful. They were fantastic. I urgently needed some crutches following a sporting accident at the weekend. Great to receive what I call old fashioned friendly and curteous service.

I visited the York branch with my father who has significant mobility issues. We were looking for advice about a light weight scooter and were helped by the wonderful Lynne (a true asset to this company). She did an assessment and was very attentive to my father’s needs which was lovely. The result of our visit was the purchase of a wonderful Genie which matches our requirements exactly. My only issue now is a very impatient father who can’t wait for it to be delivered. Many thanks for excellent advice and service, thank you.

Sadly our experience was a negative one. The company arranged to have a scooter delivered from one store to our local store ready for us to view it on a certain prearranged day. When we arrived the lady didn’t know anything about our prearrange appointment and the scooter we were to view had not been delivered. We went on to look at the scooters in the store but unfortunately the lady didn’t know how to use them so couldn’t demonstrate properly. Also one wasn’t even charged up. We went on to look at a new one and decided on one but when she went to order it they didn’t have the colour we wanted, they didn’t have the second colour we wanted not any colour apart from grey. We don’t want a grey one. My daughter has stage 4 lung cancer and was struggling with having to use a mobility scooter in the first place and burst into tears. At this point I decided that we were not going ahead with any purchase and left. We felt quite sorry for the lady trying to run the shop.
A day or two later I received a phone call which unfortunately I didn’t answer in time. A few days later I received a message from a young man. I returned his call and he denied it was him even though he left his name. He wasn’t interested in what I had to say, I wasn’t angry or rude but he closed the call very quickly. Later in the day I received another call from another guy asking if we had received the brochure, I told him no as we hadn’t requested one. When I told him of our problem he also shut the conversation down. So sorry I would not recommend this company I felt they had no empathy with the customer.
