I found my experience here quite shocking. I had made an appointment and requested to see a new member of the team who I have seen before and had moved from another practice.

I arrived and the practice seemed clean and professional. After the usual new patient form filling and some waiting around I was taken into a consulting room, where I waited again. Dr Nyla herself then appeared. I was surprised as I expected to see my usual practitioner but I thought this is just their new client process.

Dr Nyla then started to look at my face and neck and immediately told me I need a specific tightening treatment. She proceeded (hilariously) to put up a video of various Kardashians talking about it. I can't tell you which ones, not something I pay much attention to! Maybe the one that's like 80 and has had a well publicised facelift ...

Having told me I needed this treatment and speaking quickly and over me she also decided I needed it to my neck. The proposed cost was £3,000. I would say based on research this is around £1,000 over similar providers. There is a lot of variation in pricing in cosmetic treatments and I don't always think that cheaper is better so I won't assert that this is overpriced per se. But it's a big number and I was given almost no information (bar the Kardashians) about the methodology. I had to prompt for details including the nature of the treatment, time to see results, multiple or single treatment etc. Risks were not covered at all. This was all happening extremely quickly and was quite clearly a pressure sell.

The Dr then said we can do this now. I thought for a beat, but it's been a tough few weeks of work and life and I thought why not. She has a rep, I have the money and I'm here now. So fine. I was not given any statement of costs but I was given a waiver to sign. So, like, half points on that front.

I was then taken to a treatment room and had the numbing cream applied. This takes 30 mins to work and I was left in the room - fine, but why not the waiting area. Maybe to make it more difficult to escape.

Eventually a couple of tired looking ladies came in wheeling their machine. It didn't fit in the room so we moved to next door. In this room the paper sheet from the last treatment was still in place. With visible blood spots (I assume from injectables). Ick. The woman who was to do my treatment showed a lack of enthusiasm I normally only see from border staff.

I sat waiting for the cream and suddenly I came to my senses. I thought I must get out of here. I wiped of the cream and was seen by one of the staff who I told I was leaving. Suddenly Dr Nyla was back. Telling me I looked flustered (I was) and trying to talk me down.

I managed to free myself and as I thought I might be overreacting I told them I just needed to do a bit of research and have a think and I would rebook. They said they would send an email.

I have received their proposed treatment plan. No costs included. I suspect they just take a judgement of what they can get away with on the day.

All in all... WILD. I cannot express how different this experience was to my usual clinic. I can't comment on treatment quality and that may be good. But the approach was to me quite extraordinary and could be dangerous. Some of these treatments have risks and clients should be fully aware and comfortable in their choices.

I had a close call and got away with my credit card in tact. Not everyone will be so lucky. Beware.

nurse antonia is absolutely fantastic. She has made me look effortlessly better with just skin tightening and everything done in the right sequence of order makes you feel and look amazing! I could highly recommend Nurse antonia and the team at medispa.

Unbelievable results from softwave I also had the ultracel and I have to say I looked 10 years younger in fact somebody thought I was my friend’s daughter even though I’m in my 50s!

I really have to recommend this Clinic Dr Nyla is such an amazing doctor. She is professional kind and caring. She gives you lots of information and gives you the time to process it. I went back with questions about two pages long and she answered everything I needed to know and then she sent me away told me to think about all the options and finally I have decided to have the treatment. It took me four months to see all of the results, but I have to tell you this is the best money I have ever spent. I have never felt better in all my life.

recently had the Opportunity to see Dr Nyla in the Mayfair clinic and she recommended software . She gave me lots of opportunities to discuss all of my concerns and gave me a few treatments to think about. After four weeks I re-attended and had the treatment and I have got to say that within two months I could see a very big difference

Had another beautiful visit to Dr Nyla’s clinic in Cheshire . It’s such a welcoming clinic and you instantly feel comfortable. From getting a nice coffee from the staff to a vibrant atmosphere where staff are on hand to have a chat with you.

My recent treatment was a continuation of skin tightening and again this time I felt at ease knowing the staff are expert and know exactly which areas to target. What I also admire is the honesty of how many further sessions I would need and what I don’t need. This is a genuine and premium experience and I love every minute of being at the clinic! Just had amazing treatment went back for a top up on my skin tightening and I had this new soft wave treatment it was so good and not painful at all and even though results get better over time I can feel my skin tighter already i absolutely love this place been going few years staff are wonderful thank you so much you have made such a difference to my face everyone has seen such a difference . I have been attending Dr Nyla Medi spa in London the care and support I have received is gold standard second to none. The staff are amazing the customer service is phenomenal as is Dr Nyla who will go above and beyond to ensure the quality of treatment received. I was given lots of different options and together myself and Dr Adam decided on the Best approach Dr Vadim has been delivering my treatments and I have to say he is exceptional. I have not finished my treatment yet. I have seen an improvement in the Skin quality and I’m still waiting for final results, but I believe that the team are delivering the best treatments for my concern. I believe they will continue to deliver these treatments until I’m happy . I would highly recommend going to their Clinic because they’re very professional. The therapist are very caring and the doctors and nurses are very professional.

Please read the negative reviews - I wish I had. Go for the free consultation, get the cost and detailed procedures in writing and walk away to think about it. VERY high pressure sales from "the Dr". Absolutely no follow up or personal contact from "the Dr" once you've paid up front.

Today I visited the Medispa Group and had my treatments done, SoftWave and microneedling. The ladies in the clinic were absolutely amazing.

Attended as moral support for a friend. Dr Nyla is simply beautiful inside out. She was able to advise on treatments for my friends concerns, but was also not afraid to reframe negative body image beliefs and say no to treatments that were unnecessary. I have been having my Botox for years, came to Medispa in Cheshire as I was recommended by a friend.
Dr kamran was very precise in my consultation and then Nurse Antonia who did my Botox treatment made me feel relaxed.
Normally I usually get 3 areas of Botox but Dr Kamran suggested full face Botox !

Dr Nyla’s Medispa is amazing from the moment you arrive you are made to feel welcome and comfortable. The staff are exceptionally knowledgeable about all the products and treatments they offer.
