Dobbies Garden Centres - Marple Arvostelua 333

I went shopping for some spring bulbs, and IO came out with much more after browsing the gardening sections. I was tempted both by the displays and the members' club discounts.

Had a lovely coffee with my friend and then a browse around the indoor shopping area
Staff are lovely and always helpful

The item we wished to buy wasn’t priced. ( A large and heavy plant pot) Consequently the poor young till girl who only looked about 16 had to carry it off round the garden centre to try to find the price which took her about 10 to 15 minutes as being the last but one she couldn’t find it. She then had to bring the last one which we didn’t want due to damage to obtain the bar code. Would have been so much easier if everything was priced from the start.

I was looking for landscaping bark and was advised that some damaged bags had been reduced, if I wasn’t averse to damaged bags it would save me money.

My friend and I visit a couple of times a month for coffee and breakfast. Staff always pleasant and helpful. Food is good and we love our free coffees. Have bought garden furniture and gifts and cards and are pleased with quality and price

Came in for plants to give as presents! But recent hot weather had destroyed so many & they looked parched! So I bought something else! It was hard as so many of your gift products have disappeared! Bit disappointed!

Dobbies in my View is the best garden centre and we visit many of them when travelling round the country. The only thing missing is umbrellas on the outside tables when it is hot

Good choice. Got exactly what I went for

I have bought plants many times from Dobbies in Marple and I am always accompanied by my husband in a wheelchair. My criticism is that there are no trolleys which attach to a wheelchair and it is impossible to steer a wheelchair and a trolley round. Having said that I usually dump a trolley somewhere, fill it with my purchases and have always found an obliging member of staff to take the trolley to the tills point while we go for a drink in the cafe.

Went in the Restaurant for a coffee & Toast. The breakfasts looked lovely a d worth the cost. Nice friendly staff.

Always a nice visit, plenty to look at, good range of plants etc, and a lovely snack in the coffee shop. Staff always pleasant.

Nice staff, very helpful and the birthday coffee & cake was very nice.

Garden centre very good.
Restaurant although been recently refurbished the chairs and setees are very grubby with food and drink stains.
The staff are ok but I think there needs to be a rethink on the type of seating or more robust cleaning.
Otherwise Dobbies is a very good garden centre.

The stock is comprehensive and staff are helpfull.
