Dobbies Garden Centres - Atherstone Arvostelua 576

Great venue, easy parking, beautiful shopping experience finished off with a coffee and gorgeous cream scone. We will definitely be back with friends.

Went to dobbies with my family on a day out, Nuneaton road atherstone in July 2021. Soon as we entered we had the member of staff greeting customers giving us funny looks. She said hi to the couple in front of us, but walked away when she saw us waiting to be seated!! Eventually got seated and We placed our order and sat down, after 30mins of waiting and people coming in and out after us I went to ask why our food is taking so long! They only told me they forgot to do my order and I would have to wait. There were 8 of us and we spent a fair bit in the cafe/restaurant and in the garden centre. Needless to say I cancelled my order and walked out. They were racist. They saw Asian people and our faces didn’t fit. The customers were even staring at us funny. The customer service was appalling in the cafe/restaurant, however the garden centre itself was fine. Will never go back there. I spend £1,s every year buying my garden stuff from there, not anymore!!

I bought some solar lights.
After 2 days they hadn't started to work.
We had to return them.
The staff were very professional and the money was placed back into my account.
The lights took quite a long time to put together and it was very disappointing annoying.

Enjoyable visit. Surprised to hear sainsburys leaving and being replaced by Waitrose. So a reason to go back. Easy to walk round

I was very disappointed with the white chocolate cookie in the Restaurant. Not a bit of chocolate in sight. I was happy that the Manager acted immediately and gave me another one to take home , but this could easily have lost you a customer.

Staff were friendly and helpful when approached . The centre is very well set out and well stocked.
Trotters butchers, which is located within the garden centre, sells high quality meat and pies at very reasonable prices.
Well worth a visit

Really lovely place to shop and have coffee. Staff are so friendly and approachable but there aren't enough tills open at busy times. This affected the score I've given.

Arriving 2 minutes before closing time at Dobbies Mancetter, I very much appreciated the service I received in purchasing a couple of bags of compost/soil improver. The members of staff reopened locked doors, waited patiently and kept a till open for me. Many thanks to all who helped.

Always love getting bargains from the reduced plant section, and enjoy getting food and drinks from the cafe when rhe kids are at school and need some adult quiet time, the staff are always friendly and helpful.

As usual shop looking good. Took my Granddaughter to the soft play which she loved.

Visited for afternoon tea. Served by Helen who looked after us very well during our stay. Helen very helpful and friendly even though it was very busy in the restaurant at the time and made the experience enjoyable for us. We have visited for afternoon tea several times before and thought this was the best so far.

Purchased 3 plants which were lovely. Due to the extreme hot weather we have had (despite watering) two of them are not looking so good. Keeping fingers crossed that they will bounce back next year.

Very clean, easy to get around good layout range of items on sale. Sainsburys department is a welcome bonus and the fresh counter is excellent.
Assisted to get a Dobbies card the gentleman was very helpful.

Great garden centre, great layout & generally very clean & lovely staff. I love taking my daughter there to see the fishes, & she enjoys the park area & we love visiting the cafe for a little treat. Prices are a little high for most things but it’s okay for the occasional purchase.

Found everything that I needed with the assistance of a staff member. Can’t fault their helpfulness Great products

Did not meet expectations
It’s Usually busy, and a bit chaotic but .. we must have missed the lunch rush as plenty seating but tables not cleared, the restaurant was very very messy, floor had food all over the place, I couldn’t get a pot of tea as ran out of pots
Staff were doing their best but obviously not enough staff to keep up with clearing tables, cleaning and washing up
Scones nearly had any jam in them
Such a lovely treat usually ..left disappointed but picked up some nice things from the shop 🤩
