Discount Tire Arvostelua 

On 1/6/25 Discount Tire improperly lifted our vehicle on the power running boards instead of the frame causing significant damage.
We initially had it into Christian Brothers Automotive and they charged us $947.23 to repair a broken bracket, which we paid. But they found this did not correct the problem because the body had been ripped apart as well so they sent us to a body shop for that repair.
Eagle body works estimated at minimum $14,732.24 with the possibility of supplemental charges as the repair was ongoing. Estimated time to perform the repair is 4 weeks.
I had the vehicle sold for $35,000 prior to this damage cause by Discount Tire, the party is no longer interested due to the damage.
A comparable rental vehicle for the 4 week repair is $3,611.97 according to Enterprise rental.
Estimated depreciation is $5000-$7000.
My wife has a bad back and has to lift our son into the vehicle every time he gets in due to the lack of the running board working and Discount Tire's insurance company FleetResponse representative EMILY WRIGHT rarely if ever responds. They clearly are dragging their feet and know the pain it is causing my family.

Emily has been non responsive on multiple occasions and rarely responds until prompted multiple times. She has offered $15,679.47 and does not account for loss of use, depreciation or the rental.
This does not make us whole and is going to force us to take this to litigation which the lawyer says will take up to 2 years.

I am not going to take the hit of turning this into our insurance company as I do not want this on our record when it is clearly Discount Tire's fault.

I have two emails of admission of liability from them stating this.

Although staff are friendly it’s more than frustrating to offer free tire rotation with the purchase of a set of tires because it’s hardly free. I faithfully come in to get tires rotated pretty regularly after purchasing a set of 4 tires the year prior. Everytime I come there is a rather long wait and they always try to get you to get or buy something else. You rarely can walk in here for just the one service you request. Last rotation they got me for a set of wipers, this rotation they say I need lug nuts replaced. Hmmm why did you not mention that at last rotation that lug nuts were an issue? After all you’re the only people messing with the lug nuts. I declined and he made a face and went a tad harder saying it’s risky as they can break off. okay then we worry about it then. They need 25 plus dollars at each rotation then it’s not actually free! it’s simply another money hungry business that constantly milks customers for what they can get out of them in attempts to sell higher priced unnecessary products. Seriously why does a tire place sell window wipers? it Would be great just to walk in somewhere get exactly what you want and or ask for!

Hi- I was told at the Bremerton WA location it would take three days to get the like tire for my BMW in late Spring after a flat on the right front. I bought a pair of Sentry tires on their recommendation and installed on the front and when it got wet (Seattle area) the front tires would always understeer. When asked to review them after 7 months I did and it was a negative review. They asked to hold the review until they could make it right. I had to take the car in so they could verify the size ( really- Idk why) and that took a while so they finally got the tires in after a week or so. (now end of October) I was called and told to come in anytime via vmail. I called and spoke with Jen who said Saturday was too busy so Monday was set at 1330 on November 4th as I had an earlier appointment in the morning. On the way to Seattle on hwy 16 east bound when it hydroplaned at 63 mph and the front tried to change direction into the center divider. Their insurer blew me off and said not covered. They are Fleet Response. Please remember I just tried to respond to their request for a review and was never able to. After the totaling of my car it was too late as the review window had closed.

I am freakish about tires. Not only one, two and 3 guys helped, the leader of the pack stepped up and gave me an unbelievable match up to Michelun Defender 2...the tires are hoot. These guys are on top of their game, curtious and dignified, thank you gentlemen....the Festus Mo Discount tire.

I purchased a great set of Toyo tires for my Jeep at Discount Tire last week. Store is at 7295 Azure Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89130. The tires are great and the installation was flawless. My issue is how I got treated at the store. I had an appointment for 8AM (opening time), arrived 10 minutes early and was first in line with four more customers behind me when they opened. All four of the customers waiting with me had their tire(s) issue solved and were gone by the time my Jeep was pulled into the bay (0840AM). And, to add more frustration, two customers that showed up well after I checked in were helped before me. I was the seventh customer helped after being first to arrive. I was polite and friendly and made no complaints at all. This store is just poorly managed. Next time I'll take my $1,896.84 elsewhere if Discount Tire has such a strong business they don't care about customers.

I did have a long Wait, almost 3 hours. But to be fair, I also didn't have an appointment. My husband got me a new set of tires a few years ago. It had a warranty. He since has passed away. I was losing air in a tire and stopped in. The tire was irreparable but they replaced it for free. Due to wear on the other 3, they recommended I get 3 new tires. They honored my late husband's veteran discount and got me in a new set for under $500 for a BMW X3. VERY pleased.

I stopped in to this location (in Phoenix) on 2/17/25 with a screw in my rear tire. I knew it was in a repairable area due to the fact I went to school to be a auto mechanic and have worked as a tire and lube tech. After waiting for an hour and a half they come back and say its not repairable because the screw didn't go in straight. I doubt that ever happens but ok. They don't have the tire in stock so i tell them to just put everything back in the bed of the truck even the original tire. I'm suspicious at this point. I get home and take a look at the hole and it looks pretty straight to me. I mean its not at a 45 degree angle or anything. So I take it to firestone today and they are currently patching it. Long story short they are lying to customers to reach their monthly tire sale goals.

Many years ago, I opted for Discount Tire's lifetime rotation and spin balancing service, assured that it would provide peace of mind and long-term savings. However, I recently discovered that their definition of "lifetime" is, in fact, limited to six years. Despite paying for a service marketed as lasting a lifetime, I was refused service beyond the six-year mark. The reason given was that my tires were deemed unsafe due to their age, despite having only 20,000 miles on them and plenty of tread life remaining.
I presented my signed paperwork that clearly outlined the certificate for lifetime balance and rotation. Nowhere in the documentation did it state a limitation of years—much less a restriction of six years. This sudden revelation left me feeling deceived and frustrated.
Pushing back on their refusal, the only resolution offered by Discount Tire was a coupon equating to the amount I had initially paid for the lifetime service, but it could only be applied toward the purchase of new tires. This attempt to leverage my dissatisfaction into another sale did little to restore my trust.
As a result, I am now forced to seek out another tire dealer or garage to perform the rotation and balancing services that I had already paid for at Discount Tire. This unnecessary expense and inconvenience further highlight the shortcomings of Discount Tire's so-called lifetime policy.
In conclusion, my experience with Discount Tire has been disheartening. Their misleading definition of "lifetime," coupled with their refusal to honor paid services, has ensured that I will never purchase from them again. If you value transparency and reliability, it might be wise to explore other options for your tire needs.

I've been a happy Discount tire customer for years until my last set of tires and rims.
A couple weeks after purchasing new tires and rims I noticed a clicking sound from my driver's side rear tire. Turns out the lug nut cover on the wheel had. A screw fall out and the other screw had loosened a little.
I took it back and they looked at it, and said they didn't have a screw. While the service technician was respectful, I basically was told there's nothing they could do.

I purchase all my tires at discount tires, went there this morning at 830 for an air pressure check waited 10 minutes and no one even acknowledged I was there.

Overinflated tires by 10 pounds. Do not go to the East Colfax store in Denver! Always try to upsell

Went in to have my tires rotated for two vehicles on 12/7/2024 at the Discount at 1357 S Power Rd Mesa AZ. First vehicle was done and then the supervisor informed me that the installer had cracked the center cap and would need to order a new one. Not pleased. Then the second vehicle I was getting the tires rotated on went into the bay. The supervisor then informs me that a lug nut on one of the tires is so badly cross threaded that he doesn't know if he can get it off without damaging the bolt that it sits on and doesn't have anything to fix it if it does happen. Since I only get my tires rotated at this particular shop, I know where the problem lies. He then gives me a card for me to take to an independent auto shop to get this taken care of. More of my time to be wasted.
These instances are examples of just a few I have had with this particular location.
In addition to the above I had another car that had 4 new tires put on by this store about 2 months ago and 3 minutes after I left, the low tire warning went off. I returned to have them look at it. They pulled it into the bay, brought it out after 5 minutes and told me that the pressure was correct and that it had something to do with the computer and the TPS sensor not communicating (total lie) but if it did it again to bring it back. Of course it didn't. Why? Because they actually filled it to the correct pressure the second time.
They damaged another center cap in the past, ordered a replacement and then installed it on so loosely that it fell off on an 800-mile trip. I had to repay for that replacement out of my own pocket.
Absolutely the worst Discount I have ever dealt with and would strongly warn anybody dealing with this store.
Because of the vast problems I have had with this location, the next time I need tires or wheels I will be looking elsewhere, instead of Discount.

I stopped at Discount Tire at 1227 Branson Hills Parkway in Branson, Missouri after noticing a persistent thumping sound coming from one of my tires. The manager on duty came out and performed a visual inspection and informed me that I had a bolt that had lodged itself inside the tread of the tire. At that time, he told me that it was completely repairable, and that the repair was free of charge. He then took us inside to get our information and gave us a firm time for completion. Since we were traveling from out of town, this was very welcome news. This event was Saturday, November 2nd at around 2 p.m. I didn't get the managers name, but I wanted to express my gratitude and let people know that this location was fantastic. We were in and out in about 15 minutes!

Absolutely disgusting. I’ve been 3 weeks without. Vehicle because of an uneducated employee. Although the store manager Alex plainly told me we aren’t mechanics. You blew my PCM! You pulled my service vehicle into your bay then told me you had to push it out. Green valley automotive and myself which I’ve owned Salty dog repairs here in New HANOVER county for 32 years told you and showed you through proper diagnostic equipment what yall had done. Then you come back and say since it has 200000 miles it’s not covered. This service vehicle hasn’t had a problem since 2010 until it met your location. Karma is real I wish for your company the same problems you have created for me my wife and my children. Shame on you!!!!

I was referred by my auto shop for a tire pressure sensor replacement. TPMS on my car. I chose to purchase wipers also...mine were smearing. Good: quick wipers installation.
Bad: Refused to fix the TPMS on the one tire that had a bad sensor. Said I had unserviceable tires...too worn for their repair standards. Tried to get me to finance two new tires. I had my car inspected at three auto and tire shops before this one. My tires are Not an emergency risk.

On October 7, I visited the Discount Tire Store in Branson, MO, to have my tires rotated, balanced and to purchase a back window wiper. The sales person Aaron and Kyle and the workers in the shop did a great job rotating the tires and installing the new wiper. I spent less than 30 minutes at the store and was back on the road. We really appreciated there hard work.

TJ refused to honor realistic business to business tire mounting and balancing pricing @ $36.00 to mount and balance a tire for us local shop owners. TJ became unpleasant when I mentioned that $25.00 was as much as we would consider paying. We offered to show them a competing invoice from Firestone down the block for mounting and balancing the exact same tire And TJ didn't care! Complete waste of time, that is not how to honor B2B! To the staff that was laughing at me when I left, really good way to manage, "business retention!" Will never be back And if I have my way, neither will any of my trusted customers!

I own independent auto repair shops in Oklahoma, and Texas, and have trusted Discount Tire, for my customers’ tire needs, as well as exceptional customer service after the sale.
I relocated to Orange County, California where Discount Tire is called America’s Tire, where I recently started doing pickup and delivery of items for customers as well as businesses.
Yesterday, I picked up some tires from the location on Warner, in Huntington Beach, taking them to another location (store transfer).
I asked the associate that was helping me with the tires, “where are the drivers actually requested to park”? The associate answered.
Today, I returned to pick up another transfer, I was told a different place to park.
After the items were loaded, I asked the associate for the manager.
The unidentified man (wearing the managerial Red shirt), approached me asking “what do you want”?! I told him about the two different locations where I was told to park, by two different associates, and asked for the “proper protocol”.
The unidentified man had the audacity to say “You Work For Me, and You Do What I Say”, turned and stormed off!
I climbed up into my vehicle, sat there appalled and attempting to keep my composure for nearly 3 minutes.
I climbed back out and began unloading his tires (that another location had a “waiter” waiting to have them installed once they arrived), and the manager came to me once again, asking me what did I think I was doing?
I replied that I was a human being, and not his “employee, although I accepted the delivery assignment, I did NOT accept his attitude toward me.
He then responded with “your choice. Take it or leave it”.
So I left it… along with a few choice words of my own.
**My shops will no longer do business with Discount, or America’s Tire.
Totally unacceptable behavior and example for these poor employees who work at this location.

Great tire selection, great warranty, convenience!

I recommend to anyone looking for high-performance tires! I chose the MICHELIN SPORT ALL SEASON 4 for my Mercedes Benz E 550 Cabriolet. These tires provide great wet weather traction; haven't encountered any hydroplaning even during significant South Texas rain events.

Awesome service at the Discount Tyre Shop - super helpful and great customer service.
