Really enjoyed a webinar with Daniel Priestley today, he's very inspiring, encouraging, clearly knows what he's talking about!

Daniel clearly had his finger on the pulse of business trends and is able to enlighten and encourage me at the same time.

He is truly a great teacher... on the cutting edge.

Excellent, highly relevant and thought-provoking content which has given me a great deal to mull over.

I really appreciated that Daniel kept the workshop on task, was engaging, and the insights he shared were immediately actionable for any business. The audience is encouraged to apply what he offers in a way that aligns with their business or industry. Refreshing not to have the hard sell found in so many of these.

Daniel has a way to get his audience to listen and understand his message without any hard sell tactics which is so awful when offered a free workshop. I gained a lot of useful insights.

I have attended several of his sessions and I consider them my entrepreneurship refresher school. I feel like I owe him some money as I have consistently received commercial insight from him.

I joined Dent Global after attending a Key Person of Influence (KPI) masterclass, completing their KPI scorecard, and going through KPI-branded sales calls and materials. Everything pointed to a structured 12-month KPI program with live masterclasses, live sprints, expert mentoring, and feedback.

That is not what I received.

After enrolling, I was placed into a different program (CAOS/Startup Accelerator), without that being clearly explained at the point of sale. The distinction between KPI and CAOS was not made transparent, and there were no clear criteria shared upfront about how or when you move between them.

Even more concerning, the delivery changed significantly. What was sold as a live, expert-led accelerator became mostly self-directed, with pre-recorded videos and AI tools, and very limited personalised support. The live cycles, sprints, and structured feedback that were key to my decision were no longer there.

When I raised this, the issue was reframed as a problem with my “engagement” or “assets,” rather than addressing the mismatch between what was marketed and what was delivered. A refund was refused.

What went wrong:
The sales process uses KPI branding heavily, but you may not actually be enrolling in KPI. The difference is not made clear, and the delivery model can change significantly after you join.

How Dent could improve:
Be transparent about which program clients are buying, clearly separate KPI from CAOS in all sales materials, and communicate any delivery changes upfront with options for clients.

Advice to others:
Before signing anything, get written confirmation of:

The exact program you are buying
What is delivered live vs pre-recorded today
The criteria to access KPI (not just “later”)
Refund options if the delivery model changes

This is a high-ticket investment. Make sure what you’re buying is actually what you will receive.
