My name is Barbara Wade, today I had my AC serviced so I must start with customer service: When I called to set up my appointment for AC service Reception answered right away in a very cheerful manner, very respectful and I truly felt like I have know her all my life. I requested for Mr. Kevin Cooper better known as ( K.C ) to perform the AC service if possible and on the 31st of Jan. 2025 I received a call to let me know that the technician was on his way and un be-known to me it was Mr. K.C he arrived on time, and answered all my question and even gave me suggestions that I can do on my own to keep my system clean. he checked my unit from top to bottom did not cut any corners and I felt very comfortable in his knowledge and workmanship is beyond reproach. K.C did an exceptional job and I felt very comfortable with him being in my home. A very personable, well spoken in a way that you can understand, very helpful. I would have him in my home anytime I need service done. I am very grateful that Del-Air has Mr. K.C working for them Great people are hard to find. and I will not hesitate to call again for any needs that I have that Del-Air offer. Del Air gave me for an appointment between 10 and 12. At 12 I called the company and asked where the service person was? They told me they had re-scheduled my appointment from 12 to 2. I said that was not acceptable, that they should have called to let me know what had taken place as I had things to do. At one, I called again to see where the technician was and was told he'd be there in 10 minutes. This was after speaking with whomever answered the phone, a manager and then a dispatcher. At 2:00 I called again. Same routine of having the various people blow smoke up my butt. At 2:30, I called and told them to cancel the appointment and said they were unprofessional and terrible at the service business. The technician finally showed up at after 3 but I turned him away as I was helping my 98 year old mother. I wasted the entire day. This company is awful. I have a service contract and am due one more service call that I've paid for. After they take care of my system, I will kick them to the curb and find a reputable company that actually believes in service.

From the beginning a nightmare. They ran wrong electrical wire that was too small (from the outside electric box to the HVAC); they had put in gauge10 and it should have been a gauge 8 wire according to their electrician (Chris). When they left a breaker inside house flipped and left a one whole room and 1/2 of another with no electricity for days. Del Air sent out an electrician (Chris) who found the wrong electric wire was
run from outside electric box to air handler). He had repair people come out and replace a piece inside by the air handler to make up for the wire that was too small. That fixed this problem of the whole room outage. Then they left, I had another breaker flip.
They sent a different electrician out and just LOOKED at the light switch and said it was a short (NOT!) in the light switch or outlet in living room (which was ALSO involved in the first breaker problem). I told him it was not (and if it was, they caused it). I have never had breakers flip!

The first electrician called and said he'd come back out (that's been approximately 4 weeks ago) with something to show me it was a short (my problem to pay to have fixed; tearing wall out). They have yet to return and do anything about this breaker flipped. I reached out to the first electrician about coming back out, by text several times and no reply. I called in 2-3 "escalations" that I've been told that each goes to 4 managers. Still, no one has reached me. I still have a breaker flipped.

Also, they left my insider electric box with 'blanks' in the place of where 2 breaker switches used to be. One blank is lose and falling out. My inside electric box was left without what breakers service what now.

I know they are going to try to tell you it's a short which I know it is not. This 'so called short' was caused by the original wrong wire being installed. Realize that this outlet/switch is the SAME outlet that was involved in the FIRST breaker flip. A big coincidence that is now a short and is my problem (as Chris, the first electrician, basically said).

Dante did an excellent job for us as our unit was working but we were not getting much air downstairs. He found that our by pass was open and we were losing a lot of our air. He closed it and now we are getting more air downstairs. He was very patient in explaining the situation so we understood it.

The new HVAC system they installed works great but the electrostatic air cleaner I purchased from them as an add on requires in order the filter through them I have called for weeks and weeks maybe 6 weeks now and no one can get me the filters I need no one from ‘Parts department’ ever calls me back I would say buyer be ware

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Within one year Del Air went from a 5 star review to a one star review.

I had an appointment scheduled for Saturday Aug 12 as AC was not cooling. (83 degrees in my home) - Tech came out - worked on issue, but did NOT solve the problem.

I contacted Del Air at 8:30 pm on Aug 12 to ask for a tech to come back out on Monday Aug 14. An afternoon appointment was scheduled. Del Air was a NO show.

I contacted Del Air the evening of Aug 14th to see what had happened. An email was sent to management (Scott). Scott called me Aug 15 to apologize and assure me someone would be out on Tuesday.

Tuesday was a NO show. No phone call No technician…. I called back on Aug 15 at 8:30 and cancelled any appointment they might have had scheduled.

I have contacted a different AC company and will keep you posted.

Air Conditioning system for the home was not cooling. Home 5 years old. Called for service. They did not show for the first 2 appointments. Then did leak detector test and charged 330 saying parts would be in touch for repairs. We are now 5 calls in over the last 7 days for parts to call back to finish a repair on an AC unit with no resolution. Cannot recommend them for any service.
