⭐ 1 Star – Dandara 2 Year Care Plan is pointless

I’ve had an extremely disappointing experience with Dandara’s 2 Year Care Plan, and I honestly don’t see what the point of it is.

I’ve made numerous complaints about the brickwork on my driveway, which has been left in an unacceptable condition. The driveway bricks are clearly two completely different colours, making it look patchy, mismatched, and poorly finished. It’s obvious this wasn’t done properly, and it has seriously ruined the overall appearance of the property.

Despite repeatedly raising this issue, all I get is we have been advised by the Contractor the bricks will change Colour no they won’t it’s been a Year already .. Communication has been poor, responses are slow , and I feel like I’m being brushed off rather than supported. For something that is meant to be covered under a care plan, the lack of action is shocking.

If you’re considering relying on Dandara’s 2 Year Care Plan for any aftercare issues — don’t. Based on my experience, it’s been a complete waste of time and I’m still left with a driveway that looks wrong and hasn’t been put right.

Very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend.

I recently visited The Orchard at Dandara and was genuinely impressed with what I saw. The development has a great feel to it, and the show homes really stood out – stylish, spacious and finished to a very high standard. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into the design and build quality.
The team on site were welcoming and knowledgeable, taking the time to answer all of my questions without any pressure. It made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, it left me with a very positive view of Dandara and the homes they’re building at The Orchard.

Went to Birch Park Dandara site at the weekend and was pleasantly surprised with my whole experience! The sales office and show homes were beautiful and the staff could not do enough to help me even offering a varied options of drinks!

As prospective buyers, the great customer service left a really good impression. Rebecca at the Birch Park development in Braintree was great. We just popped by, as we were in the area. Even though she was with other buyers, she was accommodating and made us feel valued. After we viewed the homes her other clients had gone - she answered all our questions and explained everything we wanted to know. Left a really good impression of Dandara with us, and it's now top of our list for our new home.

Fabian was very good. Highly knowledgable, professional and friendly.

Unfortunately for us all the development was a big too big for our needs although they are landscaping it very well.

Brendan was a pleasure to deal with whilst helping me to secure a new place to live. Very organised in his approach and made this process so easy for me. He responded quickly when I had an queries. He clearly has a wealth of experience which is hopefully appreciated by his employers.
Service was second to none. Thank you Brendan!

Sara,Rebecca and Damien @Dandara homes have always been very helpful from the start when I first viewed my home that was being built right up to completion, always giving me updates on how the build was progressing and even after completion they are always willing to help if you have any problems.overall very satisfied with the service I received

Buying was a good and easy experience. Salespersons were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The site manager, Ollie also was very helpful to put things right after we moved in.
The build quality is generally good only a few smaller defects, but nothing that can’t be sorted...
My 5-star review is thanks for Laura Watkins, Customer Care Manager, for her extreme personal kindness and helpfulness. She always went above and beyond in order to sort our issues, and certainly everything were always sorted. So, I hope Dandara appreciates very much for what she does for the company. Thank you
The only negative thing is that Trinity was appointed to be the Management company on the estate which is unfortunately a useless company.

I have been in touch with Dandara since this accommodation has been advertised months ago. I have had a chat on line and was dismayed to have not been contacted but learnt about the recent further development in the Courier!

I visited your Showroom today and was greeted by Sally who was very informative, friendly and took the time to show me around the "show apartments(2)" I was escorted around and no questions were too much trouble for her to answer for me.

A good ambassador for your Company and if I require anything further will have no hesitation in making contact with her directly as I feel confident she will reply to a genuine enquiry........

Generally Very Good. Buying was a good and fairly easy experience. Elliot (salesperson) was helpful friendly and knowledgeable. Always ready to go the extra mile. The build quality is not as good as I expected. Many defects, but nothing that can’t be sorted. The best bit is the site manager. Ollie. This man has done everything in his power to put things right and has been extremely helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for him and his team. He has always kept me informed when the works will be done and by whom. He’s a great asset to Dandara.

Very informative , knowledgeable and enjoyable experience.

Meeting face to face enables a proper discussion to take place. We have been exchanging messages for some time, but just getting increasingly frustrated that we only got answers to the questions we asked.
After a chat with Joanne we now have the certainty we needed, and can’t wait to get the reservation done.

I would like to say that we are very happy with the service that Dandara gives us, and would definitely recommend them.

We purchased our home with Dandara at the saint Sillian development and overall the house itself is very good quality. The build finish internally has been solid, and I want to specifically mention that the site managers and contractors have always been helpful, welcoming and professional whenever we’ve needed anything. Day-to-day interactions on site have generally been positive.

However, there have also been some frustrations.

Like many developers working to tight deadlines, some elements of the groundworks and landscaping feel rushed, and we’ve had to raise snagging and external finish issues that shouldn’t really be present on a new-build.

We were also disappointed with the lack of transparency during the sales process, particularly around the number of council/housing association properties on the estate, which were described simply as “for rent” when in reality they are more affordable housing .Clearer information upfront would have helped set expectations it is not good in my opinion they continue mislead potential buyers with this.

In addition, the estate is managed by Remus, and our experience with the management company has been poor in terms of communication and responsiveness. This has significantly affected the overall ownership experience. Majority of owners on the estate have negative experience of Remus for this reason alone you shouldn’t buy a house with Dandara on this development

So while the house itself is good and the on-site team have been great, the aftercare, estate management, and transparency around certain aspects of the development have taken away from what should have been a straightforward purchase.

If I had the benefit of hindsight, I’m not sure I would choose the same developer again. Please ensure anything the sales team advise you get it in writing to avoid being shocked down the line.

Dandara Jersey and the team have been absolutely impeccable from start to finish.

I would wholeheartedly use their services again to find a new home/flat in Jersey or beyond.

If you’re an owner and you’d like to engage them, they are also absolutely brilliant. I can see how fair they were to me as a tenant and how the flat was properly managed on several occasions regarding communication among me, Dandara, and the owner.

I have had dealings with all of the team but a sincere thank you to Terri, Liisa, and Brendan for a year of nothing but helpfulness and kindness.
