Scam company paid ticket at Travellodge parking lot . No receipt confirmation given . A ticket appears for me to prove otherwise fortunately I have my bank statement . So off to court we go .

Hospital parking changed to ANPR and signage not adequate to inform customers

Be careful when you have called them out and faulted them for making an error they will offer a reduced rate! Check they have the notice sent out by post within 14 days of the alleged offence

Their shoddy Autopay system failed, then my appeal was answered with a generic response not an investigation - Money grabbing company that does not review appeals properly BEWARE!
My experience with GroupNexus / CP Plus has been extremely frustrating.
At Northampton General Hospital, I followed the parking signs and downloaded the designated Trust parking app. I spent more than ten minutes in a very hot car entering my details twice because the first attempt did not complete as their app is terrible. I registered the correct vehicle, added a valid payment method and enabled Autopay.
The app clearly displayed “Autopay is On”, which I sent them and it instructed me to “Drive out to pay” and stated that it would charge me automatically for amounts up to £30. My parking tariff was only £3, so I reasonably followed those instructions and drove out.
The automatic payment was apparently not collected and I later received an £80 parking charge.
I appealed with screenshots and evidence of me creating the account and adding my details. However, the rejection discussed the visibility of the signs (something I had never disputed and did not explain whether the Autopay records, payment-system logs or exit-camera request had been investigated.)
Based on my experience, motorists should screenshot every stage of this app, including the Autopay setting and payment method. A system advertised as automatic should not leave customers facing a substantial charge when they have followed its instructions. Please note that despite their threats of payment being the only option you can go to POPLA, Northampton General Hospital, the app provider and the British Parking Association. If you didn't pay purposefully than fair cop, but if you followed the instructions and did as instructed but they failed, don't be bullied by these cowboys. Absolute joke.

Got a £60 parking charge that was expected. Went to pay, online system not recognising number. Sent a £60 cheque. Somebody replied and said here's a link to send the £40 payment. So cancelled the cheque, the new link didn't work and said I had paid. Sent numerous emails stating I hadn't paid and to resend a link, heard nothing, sent another cheque for the £40, it was never banked, conviently. Then got a letter saying it's now £115 charge, tried to pay link doesn't allow, suprise, suprise. So gone to send a cheque and the letter doesn't state who to write it too. Sent well over 10-15 emails and had no response and no help. No telephone number to talk to anybody. It has really affected me, I have never had a charge before. Have brilliant credit rating and I just want somebody to talk to me to resolve the confusion but nobody is helping I am just getting demands to pay more and more and more, with nowhere to successfully pay. It's all fraudulent and has a bullying nature.

Received a parking fine for a car that was parked at home address some 70 miles away from allegedly been in York . Received the 1st fine so tried to phone,email no good nothing connects to person so sent recorded delivery letter explaining all this. And then today we received the same fine again. I was ill and laid up in bed at the time of fine and the alleged car was up for sale on our drive. Have only ever been to York once and that was in December 2025. So how they’ve got our registration number I don’t know definitely wasn’t us. Trying to rob old age pensioners.

Absolutely disgraceful company, robbing old age pensioners and disabled people with mobility problems. With ludicrous parking charges. The appeal process is a joke. This company should have their licence removed. Just avoid any car park they manage. No receipt after online payment. Scum of the earth.

CP PLUS TRADING AS. GROUP NEXUS, wow cheating scammers I’m disabled and they have sent me a fine after taking my son to hospital with a broken leg, my disabled badge was shown on there machine and excepted as free parking. Then a fine was produced. You are scamming people and you need taking to court. Please be aware everyone this company threaten both in writing and via email with no answers we need to stick together and fight these scammers. They play on your conscious and people pay. Please don’t pay these bullies

Parking charge notice sent to me, when there was no method to make payment. Machine showed fee had been paid. It's their machine. Evidence sent and still they reject the appeal. Shame to have a business making not just a bit of money, but a lot of money, stressing out patients at the hospital.

What a load of incompetent imbeciles! On behalf of GroupNexus at Cannon Lane Retail Park in Tonbridge. Another parking ticket claiming I parked there for 17 hours. They are not checking their cameras properly to see that they are two separate journeys. Who parks there for 17 hours!!! This is getting ridiculous. Have appealed obviously. Please check your cameras !’

Had a fine come through about parking at Walsall aldi that we didn’t pay the parking and we was there for 31 mins and get one hour free parking so got a ticket for aldi and used that and said on machine thanks and see you next time but today got a fine for £170
Said can’t Appel and was a nasty cow on the phone and said was sent to old address on October 2025 but then we had letter at my new address so didn’t do there sums just Fcuk me over for £170 with no evidence so said get it payed for we coming take ya car away just sham company but had pay it but feel so down about this

Forcing a disabled person to pay when having their disabled parking badge all because your numpties dont pickup on the help button! Scammers!

A deeply frustrating and exploitative experience

1. Their PCN payment system is misleading. Even if you've already paid, the link remains active and allows further payments—without confirming whether your initial payment was successful.

2. The appeals process is a sham. You can email them, but it feels like shouting into the void. Responses are generic, templated, and always circle back to signage. POPLA isn't any better—don’t waste your time appealing there either.

3. They appear to deliberately mismanage hospital car parks to maximise revenue from PCNs, targeting vulnerable staff and patients who are often under immense stress.

Taken together, these practices feel borderline FRAUDULENT. So why do hospitals continue to contract them? I genuinely can't understand it.

I parked at RSH (in Hummingbird car park) at 11am on Sun 12 Oct to pick up my wife from the Treatment Centre, who was to be discharged after her major op.
I went to collect my car at 12.10 to drive to the pick up point in front of the Treatment Centre, stopping on the way to pay the parking fee. The machine stated "No fee to pay" - I assumed it was not working properly so tried another machine in the Treatment Centre but got the same response. I helped my wife into the car and left for home.
Last week I received a Penalty parking notice from CP Plus-Nexus. I replied, stating the above, but they rejected the appeal, with no explanation of why the Parking machines would have responded that way.
I'm really disappointed (but not surprised) at this company's response.
