I have ordered a knives set . After just one week they have start getting rusty!! Then I get intouch with customer service and been told because of the water and harsh cleaners they can be easily damaged and been told to wipe them with vinegar and put some oil over and see is that gonna work and help stop the rust ?! I ask for return and apparently I have to pay 5£ myself to send them back ? What a company?!

Purchased the small 28l oven with 2 hot plates combination ,the manual is very scant in how to operate the hobbs.But it states you can not control the temperature ,how are allowed to market this.
Hence I have not used it ,alas it's for the bin.

Ordered a new digital hot water dispenser. Easy to use and saves energy. Very happy with the purchase.

Bad quality, I haven’t ever seen black dots on stainless steel pot like this before. Not safe to use for cooking.

I initially found the product very impressive—it’s well-designed and has great potential. When it works, it works really well. However, over time, I started experiencing the same recurring issue: the speed settings become unreliable. For example, setting the speed to 10 doesn’t actually maintain that level—it drops significantly during operation, making it frustrating to use.

Even more concerning is the lack of accessible customer support. I’ve sent several emails without getting a response. The chatbot on their website doesn’t function, the contact form appears broken, and there’s no listed phone number or any direct way to speak with someone. It’s incredibly difficult to get help if something goes wrong.

It’s unfortunate because some aspects of the product are genuinely excellent, but the experience is overshadowed by the lack of support and recurring technical issues. I hope the company improves their service infrastructure—this product could be amazing with the right customer care.

I cannot praise my Cooks Professional hot water dispenser highly enough. It is a neat and tidy piece of kit- doesn't take up too much room on the counter top and looks great. But, more to the point, it delivers just exactly the amount of hot water you selected at exactly the temperature you required - perfect for single cups of tea or coffee, especially if you take them black. No need to boil more than you need in the kettle, just to have what's left go cold. Better for the environment and your pocket.

I bought an espresso coffee machine and it's a great kitchen gadget for the price! Not only does my dad get his morning coffee, but I also get to enjoy using the steamer for hot chocolate. 🙌🏻 I would recommend!

Absolutely to avoid. Items on the website are not actually available so you pay for them and then have to chase the order when nothing turns up. Their so-called Express delivery hardly works if they don’t have the stock. Absolutely no communication or response to emails, Let alone an apology, and then just a email saying that you’re going to be refunded.

Service via the helpline is definitely 5*. I had ordered the wrong colour of an item in my initial order but, after a quick email to the helpline, it was rectified. The order was received promptly but, as the items were Christmas gifts for me from my husband, they weren't fully inspected until Christmas Day. Having found some damage on one of the items, I emailed the helpline with photos. Replies were prompt and dealt with favourably, and the damaged item has now been replaced. Thank you once again Cooks Professional - you have staff to be proud of.

Cooks work absolute pure rubbish I brought a kettle and microwave 3 months ago the kettle started to leak and started blowing my fuse box and the microwave after 12 months the paint inside was peeling of and landing in food hang you heads in shame Argos theses products are dangrous to health PEOPLE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESES PRODUCTS ABSOLUTE PURE RUBBISH!!!!!!!

Will never use cooks professional again,

Ordered their sensor recycling bin only to have a divider missing.

No way of contacting them over the phone so emailed. First agent apologised and said they will send the divider. Two days later still not even a tracking number so contacted again and another agent emails back telling me I have everything I should in my order and that the top compartment doesn’t have a divider even though it is clearly stated on the description that there should be one.

Replied with evidence from their site and the same advisor come back saying sorry and the description is correct but then tells me her manager has advised the food bin is the divider. I what world would that make sense let alone work!!!

I have as of today returned the bin and I’m awaiting a refund but don’t have a single bit of confidence in a company that is happy to back track and lie

I ordered the pancake maker. It arrived in good time, but unfortunately it was faulty, the element didn't heat up. I emailed cooks professional around 8pm Friday evening to let them know and ask how to return it for a replacement. I received a response from them at 10.30 Monday morning - so in terms of working hours, they responded within an hour of receiving it - letting me know how to return it, and having already ordered my replacement. I received a working replacement the following day, having not yet returned the faulty item. This is such impressive customer service, I wouldn't hesitate to order direct from them in the future and highly recommend them.

Ordered an Ice Maker from their UK website, and it arrived defective. I got it out of the box an instantly noticed that the machine wobbles when placed on a flat surface, and there were sticky marks over the stainless steel front of the unit that could not be removed by wiping.

I contacted customer support and their first response was to ask for photographs of the base and front of the unit. When I sent those, I was then asked for a photograph of the “ratings label”.

After sending that, their response was to offer to repair the unit. They said I would only be given a replacement if the item could not be repaired by their engineers! They didn’t even mention a refund.

I find this astonishing… this wasn’t an item that developed a fault after a period of use. It was defective out of the box… the normal customer support response is usually replacement or refund!

What’s more, their email was full of covert-aggressive language trying to waive their liability if the item was damaged on return to them, via their couriers.

I emailed back for a refund, which they did agree to, but persisted in telling me they would issue it after inspecting the machine.

It’s almost as if Distance Selling Regulations or even The Sale of Good Act have passed them by.

Contrast this with Amazon, who typically ask for the reason of return (which can include the equivalent of “changed my mind”) and will credit your Amazon account the moment you’ve dropped it off at the Post Office (long before they get to receive the item).

I only ordered this Ice Maker on the strength of their hot water dispenser which was the first product I bought from them (only a few months ago).

While boxing the item back up to be collected, I found a tiny sliver of blue transparent protective wrap on the machine, clearly the full protective wrap had been removed before they sent it out. I strongly suspect what they sent me was some other customer’s defective return.

Unfortunately, you only really get to see what a company really thinks of its customers when you end up dealing with their customer support team. As such, I’ll be avoiding this brand in future.

Worst company I ever dealt with. Ice cream machine handle was broke on delivery. Emailed them loads of times and kept getting we will sort it. They eventually sent an handle after 2 weeks. But disgusting customer service. I would never buying anything from these again. Avoid at all cost buy from a company that respects their customers without keep fobbing them off.

My product stopped working well within the warranty period and despite it being a heavy and awkward item I didn’t have any option other than to package it myself and take all the risk of it being damaged by their courier to send it for a repair.

They quoted a policy that cannot be found anywhere and when I’ve asked to see the policy three times I’ve been ignored.

Do not purchase any of their equipment. I am reading so many bad reviews. Please spend your money elsewhere. They do not deserve customers as they don’t know what customer service is
