their .cert files are garbage. Their service is zero. And their online help text is full of unwarranted humor. Let me tell you one thing about humor: Humor needs good timing. Without timing it is annoying and insulting to the users who have a deadline to meet and are under pressure to deliver. Don't need to read your humor paragraphs before I get to your other garbage help.

These scammers are the only one scanner that flagged our American company website blazingtools . com and they have no feedback to get rid of this ban.

Dodgy products; impossible to uninstall when no longer required, just sit there eating significant CPU resources. Customer services doesn't want to know and just get the run around.

Truly one of the worst experiences in customer service I have ever had, They have a money back guarantee and have stolen my money!!! no refund i tried to get a refund and was referred to 5 separate customer service reps operating from 3 separate companies affiliated with Comodo. Please please DO NOT USE THIS TERRIBLE BUSINESS THAT SIMPLY STEALS YOUR MONEY. tHERE ARE PLENTY OF TRUST WORTHY BUSINESSES OUT THERE. They are crooks!

They scammed me and they don't want my money back!
I bought a code signing certificate on February 1st.
I paid for it in full, but they did not release it and did not return the money to me!
I was deceived, I have not been able to receive a refund on my order for 2 months already !!!

Ich bin mit der Freeware Comodo Internet Security sehr zufrieden, das Virenprog nutze ich seit Jahren; was mit runter geladen wird kann man ohne Weiteres löschen; z.B. Dragon oder Geek Body; Comodo lernt mit dem User, man muß sich halt mit diesem Prog gut auseinander setzen können

Das ist der letzte Dreck. Ständig nerverei, daß die den Pleiteladen Yahoo in meinem Browser einstellen wollen.

Purchased 3 PC software.
Link to download software, in confirmation email, doesn't work.
Messaged through Geek Buddy and had no response after 3 hours.
Phones 24/7 helpline and there was no answer. Was first in queue for 10 minutes before being cut off.
Have requested full refund. Hopefully I'll get it...

Been chasing for 6 days to get a refund. Sent numerous emails and tried phoning too.They will not respond at all.
Please don't use this company.

I have a code signing security certificate that needs to be installed. I cannot get anyone to return my calls and I cannot get anyone on the help chat.

My client cannot resume business where they have multi-million dollar orders trying to get out the door and they are now waiting for COMODO to provide the security certificate that I need to re-start the application that they need to communicate with. I will be purchasing my certificates elsewhere from now on....I cannot emphasize how frustrating this is.

the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with for SSL certificates, ovoid them at all costs.

I had an awful experience. Ordered a code signing certificate for a private person in Thailand. After ordering it took 6 days to just get an order confirmation. Uploaded the address certificate of the immigration bureau with the document number and phone number on it, and wrote that they can speak english there. Was rejected. They insisted on a gov issued document, but as an expat living in Th. this is hard to get and if you get it, it is in Thai letters. Even that I showed how to make OCR and use Google Translate they wouldn't accept it. Why the hell is the address so important, when anybody can move to another apartment at any time? And they wanted also proof of a phone number of a land line!! Who is still using land lines in the year 2021? And first the photo was pretended not to be clear enough, oh my. Had to go to a lawyer which cost me a lot of money. Then they pretended they couldn't verify the lawyer. Made about 10 phone calls to their support (which suddenly was called Sectigo), they said they will call back, but never got an answer. Asked them whether they accept an address confirmation phone or letter from the German embassy near my place. They were unsure but more likely no. They have to ask and call me back. Never heard back from them. Who in the entire world wouldn't accept embassy testimonies??? Crazy. The whole thing sounded exactly like an Indian Scam Center. After 3 months gave up and bought the certificate at another company, nearly without any problems. At least I got my money back because I paid by PayPal, which give you 6 months money back guarantee. But there is no compensation for the anger and time without certificate you go through! By the way, also the Comodo time server was unreliable. The one from the new company works flawlessly. ===>> Just don't buy at Comodo/Sectigo or you will regret it. I mean it.

Absolutely terrible experience with Comodo. Customer service is absolutely the worst - and that is when they even deem to get back to you!!

I purchased an S/MIME certificate from them but their certificate generation link does nothing at all. I tried with a few different browsers but none work, and the settings their help pages say to change in Chrome didn't exist for 5 years.
I contacted validation support about the problem but they told me my order has been rejected - even though they have taken my money - and I need to contact sales.
I tried to message sales but the website form doesn't work, it just seems to submit and then nothing.
So I tried to get a refund, since there is a 30 day money back guarentee, but the only way to get a refund is to do a web chat with them. No one answers these chat messages, I have been trying for 3 days now.
It looks like the only way to get a refund is to open a PayPal dispute.

Updated to 2 stars because once I finally got through to their support they did start the refund process without too many questions. I did have to try for 3 days to actually get through to someone on the online chat though.

Do not buy from this company. I enrolled, the software is really bad, never worked, poor support. Tried to cancel but they still will bill your credit card every year. You will have to get a new card to cancel. stay away.

For almost a month, I have unsuccessfuly tried to renew my certificate with this company. Beware, they also operate under the name Sectigo, and presumably they'll soon get a third name, as comodo and sectigo are already tarnished beyond repair. They don't communicate back, they don't tell you what problems or next steps are, so you have to keep calling their support for any hope on progress.
For the money paid for a certificate, this is a horrible scam.

I purchased the security suite for my two desktop computers... biggest mistake I ever made.. both my computers started to have problems, freezing, boot up issues, constant pop ups.. I immediately uninstalled them and requested a refund through paypal..

Comodo has failed to respond, and NO ONE answers the phone at their location... absolutely the worst customer service ever..
