Coffee#1 Arvostelua 

This is a copy of an email I sent to coffee#1 I feel I must complain at the poor management of Coffee# 1 located at The Vale, Evesham . My wife and I have visited this cafe on 5 occasions. On our first visit we had a lovely toasted teacake. On our 2nd visit, looking forward towards another lovely toasted teacake, but only to be disappointed at being told run out of them. We decided to have a cake and coffee. On our 3rd, forth and fifth visit we were informed on all three occasions that they had run out. Instead of choosing something else we left as there are 3 other cafes within a hundred yards. I might also add on one of those occasions the customer infront of me did the same. All of our visits were between 1pm and 2pm. Common sense and good management tells me to order more teacakes. I will be adding a review on trustpilot and joining the 49% of reviews grading 1 star. That standard I would have thought to be totally unacceptable. Get your act together. Firstly I would suggest you get in touch with the branch at The Vale and explain the simplicity of working out that we need to order more teacakes as not all potential clients will just choose something else. They will, like us, go else where. I would welcome a response to this email.

Went to Coffee 1 in Nailsea Bristol.
Approx 6 th visit over a few months and have never sat on a clean table.
Coffee has always been great and the staff friendly but when we visit the tables have never been cleaned when the table is cleared.
This is not a one off it is always the same.
Please wipe the tables clean.

Horrendous experience when I visited with my dear friend on their first trip to Cirencester, the staff in this coffeeshop have given the worst impression possible of locals. Immediately made to feel unwelcome, waiting several minutes for wet floor signs and furniture on the other side of the shop to be moved, despite the fact we could have just sat down at the table I requested without crossing any of the blocked off area. I was told "it's health and safety" but clearly we weren't going into or near the area where the member of staff was, it was strange. We were then verbally attacked by people at the next table, who it later turned out were another member of staff and the first employees mother. I told them I wasn't visiting for a conversation with them and hasn't asked for their opinion, I sat and tried to enjoy having coffees with my friend and talked about other happier visits to Coffee#1 branches, as well as other disappointing Coffee#1 visits I had in Cirencester, but until today this was still my favourite coffeeshop.
Throughout the visit we were being whispered about and shot dirty looks by the staff and their friends, at which point when I was being stared at I asked if everything was alright and was told by shouting across the coffeeshop in full earshot of all other customers that I was banned from the premises, apparently for loudly complaining, within earshot of the staff. I was nothing but polite to the people on duty and did not expect to be rounded on by an aggressive gang of their off duty friends and family. Frankly, they need to hear my feedback, the coffeeshop is not a friendly atmosphere, the staff are overwhelmed and unpleasant, but we were actually having a private conversation between ourselves in a loud coffeeshop. I spent another few minutes attempting to reason with them imploring them to think more about their customer service skills before leaving the shop, this is the worst experience I have ever had in a hospitality setting, having worked in one myself for many years. I felt embarrassed and did nothing wrong, talking about my bad experiences is not grounds for a banning from any premises, it's a customer complaint and requires attention from the management to ensure the level of service improves. Such a shame as I had always made a beeline for Coffee#1 in the past, but I will definitely avoid it if I see the younger blonde barista with glasses, or the taller one with long brown hair working in there again.

Coffee#1 need to employ more staff, its obvious from the queues and no sight of an opening times sign, that they need to hire more staff, shame on you Coffee#1 :(

Honiton. There are no opening times visible when the door is open. They allowed me to order hot drinks and food (to have in) when they shut in less than 5 minutes. I only knew they were shutting because I overheard a member of staff mention it. Apparently, it’s bad for business to tell customers that they are shutting! Luckily for them, they’ve lost me anyway. I asked for the drinks to be made as takeaways and got a refund for the food.
I don’t know why the Manager thinks this is good for business.
I have to say though that the lady serving me was lovely and the drinks were nice.

if trust pilot had a minus on here I definitely give coffee 1 less than minus one .as a mechanic I have had the unfortunate task of tasting oil,brake fluid, screen wash etc at some point in my 37 year career, but this company has the honour of being the worst thing I have ever tasted. how they can say coffee and 1 in their name is beyond me. and now they don't take cash . well then, up this I'm going elsewhere.

I don't understand the poor reviews. They provide very good fresh coffee. Service can be slow, but they tend to be busy most of the time and are well organised. Good selection of pastries. Tables are usually cleared regularly and I like the decor it's very comfortable.

Awful customer service, understaffed, unhelpful and overall very poor experience. Such a shame as the food was tasty!

Yeovil - terrible rude Manager, uninterested staff. Store was dirty, tables not cleared. A terrible experience I will not return.

Myself and my friend planned a much needed catch up in the lovely town of Pershore. We decided to have a coffee in Coffee 1. We patiently waited for the lady to make our drinks and food. Once we eventually sat down we had realised that parts of our order were missing and not to a satisfactory standard.

The staff was on the ball. Fast service friendly and helpful. The premises clean and well kept.
Coffee always great. Can not comment on food as didn't have anything today

Macclesfield branch ,long queues and not enough staff waiting 15-20 mins for a coffee in not acceptable, all vacant tables still had plates and cups from previous customers that were not cleaned,when someone did evenually clean tables crumbs and left over bit of food were swept onto floor ! won't be going again ,shocking!

When visiting Coffee #1 be sure to check your bank account before entering. For £4.25 you can purchase a small glass of oat milk with a tiny drizzle of caramel syrup (ice and blending not included).
If you’re feeling tired and need coffee in your frappes, as is normally included at other places, you can purchase this at Coffee #1 for an additional £2.40. I hope you don’t have a taste for whipped cream as this may dip into your overdraft as this is also at an additional cost. Forgot to mention this is for a regular. If you have a weak heart - don’t ask for the large!
Staff were lovely, but couldn’t afford a tip. Hopefully these absurd profit margins are being passed on so at least they can afford a coffee at the end of their day. I recommend Brecon theatres coffee shop where you can purchase lovely coffee and cake at the prices you expect to pay in a nice coffee shop.

If the three different coffees we had had been any colder we could have called them iced coffees.

Disgusting. Coffee 1 in Dorchester, Dorset. Dead flies and wasps everywhere. Staff were miserable. It wasn't busy and I am not surprised as it obviously has a reputation now for its lack of hygiene. Very sad that this is how little respect companies have for their customers now.

Never enough staff on Saturday before 9am and long queues. Refusing to provide the breakfast menu of porridge or yoghurt and granola because they don't have sufficient time to do that when they are working alone. This is not a staff member issue, this is a management issue and should be resolved.

What went wrong? Collect the loyalty card points on the app and discover that the voucher has been used. Actually, no; the voucher hasn't been used but, hey, no problem with raising this as there's no interest behind the counter other than to sell more coffee.

Coffee#1 Stratford - on Avon
Went in for a coffee and cake, staff being rude to other customers before me in queue,cakes were missed of order manager said he was to busy to get them,no spoon's had to ask for one, also all customers that came in had to empty tables of dirty cups and trays to make space, staff seemed to be arguing, Not a happy place !!!!!

Complained. Rude Staff! Sutton Coldfield branch.
“My friend and I was embarrassed by the waitress in the shop. We thought it looks accommodating coffee shop but instead the waitress was rude and discriminated us. Asked us to leave because my friend is holding a bag of KFC. No matter how I explained that we come in to enjoy a cup of coffee and cakes but insisted to leave. How rude! We are paying customers for goodness sake! Sutton Coldfield branch, you sucks! Failed to customer satisfaction.” In my eyes, you obviously don't have good moral customer service. All I get is embarrassment, offensive and unworthy treatment. Never in my 20 years in Britain that I am treated this kind of a behaviour in coffeeshop or anywhere else.

Visited Coffee#1 at The Valley Evesham today.
Customers already at the counter seemed hesitant about what to order. I was unsure whether to proceed past them.
Approached the counter past them to the main counter, to come across a young lady performing what appeared to be a “native dance” along with associated sounds. Told the lady who dealt with my order that I did not appreciate this and asked her to pass this on to the young lady concerned. I asked them to make sure my comment was passed to the person concerned.
I received no form of apology whatsoever.
This Coffee #1 seem to have contempt for their older customers.
There are plenty of other coffee/tea houses on this site (shared with Evesham Country Park) for any level of service better than this.
There were more members of staff behind the counter than customers, perhaps I am not the only one not happy with their level of service.
