Coffee#1 Arvostelua 

I enjoy the coffee at our Coffee#1 in Buxton and it's convenient. The reasons why I visit this coffee shop most times when I'm in town. But I wish the service and atmosphere were better. Sadly I am never served with a smile or any warmth or welcome. With the exception of just one time when a lady served me today. The man who is nearly always here clearly has his favoured customers with whom he chats warmly but the rest of us he pulls a sour face at as if serving us is the last thing he should be doing. Such a shame.

Crockery and cutlery not very clean, please check your dishwasher

Visited today, no complaints about coffee & food. The floor of the table next to me had food scattered on it underneath the table. A member of staff brushed the food up with a dust pan & brush from the floor & then brushed the top of the table that was to be eaten off with the brush she had used on the floor.When she had finished she did not return to clean the table with any . spray of any kind. Health & Hygiene training (if any ) was not performed in any way . I suggest management advise staff of hygiene rules but I would have thought it was common sense to wipe tables after use.

You need to stop saying you employ people without experience because clearly you dont and that is false advertising

I visited the Taunton coffee#1 and was served by Millie and Emily, consider it was coming to the end of the day, they were both friendly and helpful. Coffee and service was excellent, highly recommend.

This is a review of 'Coffee#1 Sidmouth'.

Following a brisk half hour walk along the seafront, Sidmouth, with the ozone rich fresh air giving me a fancy for a hot drink I popped into Coffee#1 Sidmouth with my wife. It was mid-afternoon.

This establishment is well patronized by the locals; always a good sign. Interestingly the front door entrance step still displays the name of the creator of a business here. TRUMP. Was he a distant relation of American, Donald J, by any chance or perhaps the father of a popular Snooker player? Who knows?

Coffee#1 hit the mark when they took over the site. They cleverly decided to leave an interesting length of period shelving in place down the left hand wall as you come in. On display are old bottles and jars, 'Typhoo Tea' and of course 'Horlicks, the ideal food drink for all ages.' Also on sale then were Wines and Spirits, Ales and Stout. The place has a luxury 'Emporium' feel to it, and my wife remembers a delicatessen counter with fine cheeses and breaded ham on display for the discerning shopper.

Full marks to the polite, helpful and cheerful staff. Izzy served us our latte and a large, fruity mince pie. Did you know that it is bad luck at Christmas time to refuse a mince pie? So we happily munched away. Izzy… 'Izzy whizzy let's get busy' was nipping around, wiping tables, clearing the trays away and helping her two smiling colleagues to take, and serve, orders. The place was humming… 'good king Wenceslas'. Our coffee latte tasted fine but we are not really fussy and certainly not connoisseurs

On the practical side there is an easy access disabled toilet and another unisex loo up a few steps, clearly marked with the good old 'black and yellow tape'. The whole place was spotless and we sat on padded, comfortable chairs. What is there not to like?

Although there is a largeish Public Car Park nearby Sidmouth Town is mean with disabled parking. As a Blue Badge holder I know a few places but the best place to easily park with a Blue Badge is Seaton, nine miles East. Seaton Town is very helpful to Blue Badge holders. Catch the 9A bus if you want to travel by bus to and from.

Anyway all this adds up to an easy 5* review for me. I can assure you that you will be welcomed into 'Coffee#1 Sidmouth' by barista, Izzy and her charming colleagues.

Americano tasted watered down and bitter. Not for me.

I went to coffee#1 in Shirley and it was very nice. Great costumer service and delicious tea and cakes. Also dog friendly which is nice. Would definitely recommend,

Shame as i once loved this shop in sutton coldfield but its gone down hill , service is poor and tables are messy , wait times without a que was 15 mins due to forgetting my order . dean was the best they had and they let move elsewhere !! i wont be coming back here again 😕

Good service, genuine and friendly staff that always go the extra mile for customers and genuinely take an interest in there customers lives and very dog friendly at the ringwood coffee 1 branch.

Was not happy with customer service, I felt I had cleaned up what I could ( there was barely any mess at all ) all that remained was one small piece of food on floor and a receipt which I would happily picked up if was asked as I was not aware it had fell instead the member of staff huffed and procedures to mutter negatively at my baby

My parents were very excited to visit this new coffee shop. What a terrible experience the service was extremely slow. Ordered two slices of Victoria sponge cake what a mistake!!!. The cake was dry and hard tasted stale. I took the cake back and was given another two slices by a member of staff that couldn't really be bothered to serve me. The second two slices were also stale. Such a shame as the coffee shop is in a prime position but service and food leave a lot to be desired. Will not be back.

Coffee 1 Leamington Spa, 4.10.25 - shamefully bad customer service. To queue fir 29 minutes just to be served is utterly unacceptable. These premises are not fit for purpose. Avoid on a Saturday at all costs. Will not return

Shame I have to give a star . Tried using referral for a free coffee twice in Warwick central . First time accepted it may have been my wife’s fault ( sorry wife ) not getting it scanned correctly . 2nd time barista helped her scan everything correctly . Still no free coffees . Now spent £27 trying to get a free coffee .first time spent £17 on two coffees and a half price sandwich which obviously wasn’t scanned at half price but didn’t realise till we got home but thought hey at least we will get out free coffees . WRONG !!!
Emailed helpline on both occasions to be told we hadn’t scanned referral correctly . WRONG !!!
Total scam and the coffee ain’t that great either . Will stick to Costa in future .
Coffee#1 scammers and cheats .

Visited the new branch in The Crescent Hinckley quite early 09.15, so not so busy (just as well), the service was so slow for 2 coffee's, I thought each bean was individually hand crushed, not cheap either @ £4.15 & you have to ask for sugar (you think people make off with handfuls if you put sachets out on the tables?), not offered a tray either, a smile wouldn't go amiss either!.

Prices up yet again. Simply not worth it.

After telling the server 4 times counting in clarification as I was asked again and original order, my matcha was still served with dairy milk instead of oat milk I was so lucky to doubt their competence and confirm again twice before taking a sip (they seemed disorganised or I never would have asked). The server did apologise but blamed her colleague saying ‘she didn’t tell me oat milk’ even though I told them both separately myself during this havoc. Then comes the food which tasted lovely. However, we sat the closest table to the counter and displayed our table number only for the more mature shorter haired lady (who is usually impolite but not this much) TOUCHED my husband on the back and snapped ‘I’ve been shouting for your food for about 3 minutes I’ve been outside and everything’ we said nothing and she said again ‘I’ve been walking up and down with it’. We hadn’t heard her ‘shout’ once until she was telling us off. Won’t be returning unfortunately and I agree with some of these reviews about the staff letting this place down massively as it has great potential.
