All is well until you have an issue.
I made an order with Amazon and cancelled within minutes as I need to adjust the items.
Order was cancelled on Amazon’s end, but Clearpay wouldn’t release the authorisation so I couldn’t get my money back.
I opened a dispute and said they would contact Amazon.
After 7 days, still haven’t been refunded. Amazon has said Clearpay haven’t released the authorisation on the payment yet,so it still says pending in my transactions.
They have provided me with a authorisation code and email to show Clearpay in order for them to release the funds, and has confirmed that Clearpay has in fact not contacted them once in regard to my order. Not once.
I feel they are waiting it out and making interest of the money, while blaming the Merchant in the process.
They are liars, and I’d tell them that personally if there was a way to call them, which there isn’t. I wonder why that would be.
There is no buyers protection. No real customer service. Not purchasing a single item using this platform again. Once I get my money back, which I will by the way…because until I get my money back, they won’t be seeing anymore payments….i will be closing my account.

Also, if you reply back to me with the same AI written response you’ve posted under every other negative review, all you’re doing is proving our point about how absurdly bad your customer service is. I think it’s fair to assume we’ve all contacted you via the help/chat option in the app, as that’s the only way to contact you!

Easy to use never any issues . Credit goes up over time . Helps build your credit score which is good if yours is low .

This company customer service can’t get a low enough score rating for me which is a shame.
I purchased items from sports direct who for some reason cancelled the order before it was ever sent , I informed ClearPay who then told me I should chase them down for the refund? or maybe they have refunded my account how is that even possible when they never had my account details to start with as I bought the cancelled items through ClearPay with their card details. They refused at first to seek the refund? now apparently they are .
They also need to refund my initial deposit . In the meantime they expect me to pay for items I have not received and they are also bombarding me with messages to remind me to pay for the items I have not received and that is also in dispute at the moment. I find this utterly ridiculous. The Customer Service is absolutely horrible. This is warning to the public if your items are cancelled from the store without even receiving the goods ClearPay will expect you to pay for them , they don’t give two hoots about the customer. I warned them I would write this review if they didn’t get it sorted and stop harassing me for payment for items I never received. My bet is they will reply it’s their policy, WELL CHANGE IT!!!!!!.

Writing another review because after a week, and repeatedly sending evidence clear pay have ignored every single piece of written evidence and they have fraudently taken money out of my bank account and refuse to give it back. They are fully aware I didn't receive an order, they have ignored my complaint, and they attempt to gaslight their customers, and they repeatedly lie, but attempt to convince themselves that they have actually done something with customers complaints. I've had my account for quite some time, and an advisor helped me last year when raising a payment dispute with a company. This time around after not receiving an order they are quite happy to keep your money and they actually don't care! The people I had the misfortune of dealing with were Pretchy, Chi, Marvin, Joyce and Limuel who claims to be a senior manager but judging from their emails I'd say they are no such thing.

Ive been using the app for over a year, never missed a payment and I always pay early.

Whenever I make a purchase they change the features on the app and remove certain services. Its terribly frustrating trying to plan purchases. If they didnt do this and mess about id actually spend more.

It seems like they dont trust me to pay, yet they give me a decent amount i can potentially use. Again, its terribly frustrating and if you ever have a direct competitor that dosent remove features as I spend. I will leave and never return.

Edit - in response to the comment below there is no 'help' tab in the my clear pay section. Do better!
Infact I know its an AI response that is hallucinating and believes there is actually a help tab.
