CW are not maximising their service or profits. I'm sure that staff turnover is very high and I'd consider the workplace unsafe due to noise and general sensory overwhelm. No wonder staff are rude as reviews attest - just having to work in this environment tells staff they are not worth much. Numerous competing media, bright lights, plus chemical smells. These features seem part of every CW franchise. A generally inhuman and uncaring atmosphere. Yes it's cheap, but why only that? Surely it is more profitable to run a welcoming shopfront for a diverse array of customers, including ensuring enough room for mobility aids. You never lose by valuing staff. It could be so much better.

Chemist Warehouse Newmarket Road Brisbane, continues to offer less and less service. Customers are regularly abused, shouted at and told the product they seek isn’t and never was stocked for years. The helpful pharmacist Michael who inspired the staff has long gone - and the polite helpfulness he encouraged in staff has gone with him. The staff now band together with almost unbelievable behaviour and point blank refusing to contact another store for stock for example. The franchise owner is aware of the problems but seems unable to fix them. A sorry tale indeed.

I will tell u what went wrong this time your staff thinks they own the company with the way they treat customers and they carry on like their Doctors, and they won't refund you if u purchase something from there, and when another person comes in to get a subscription for your husband they think it was for yourself because I had to explain 3 times that my husband has had reconstructive knee surgery, because the subscription was for Oxycodone and penadine fort, and the waiting time is ridiculous. And it's not the first time your staff either.

I purchased an eyebrow pencil costing $8.47 via click and collect from the Lilydale, Vic store. Took it back as it seemed dry, only made a faint line and the tip kept breaking off. The staff refused a refund saying there was nothing wrong with it and told me to take it up with the manufacturer (Rimmel). I spend in excess of $200 each month in Chemist Warehouse, Lilydale on medications and products and I can not believe that the biggest Pharmacy in Australia quibbled over a $8.47 refund. Fobbing the customer off by referring them to the manufacturer happens all too frequently with retailers and is contrary to consumer law. This is a pity as I have had excellent service from the staff at this store until now, but shame on you Chemist Warehouse you thoroughly deserve this feedback!

29/12/2023 Chemist Warehouse Lilydale phoned me to say they now agree to a refund. Could this be due to my feedback? Would have been much better to give me the refund when I took the item back!

Poor customer service at Brentford Square, Vermont, Melbourne. Avoid shopping there, it’s not the first bad experience there. Michelle, store manager, did not honour a refund today when I was advised by her staff member that I could seek a refund after Christmas (approx $40). Michelle asked me to call head office to confirm. Head office advised they would need to seek Michelle’s approval for a refund from the store, Michelle agreed to an exchange but not a refund as promised by her staff member. I had no other choice but to exchange. I would not have bought the product a few weeks ago if I could not seek a refund after Christmas. Michelle would not even refund 50c (remaining amount left from the exchange) and made me purchase more items to make up the total, unbelievable! If you’re looking for perfume or aftershave, go elsewhere. Or if get it in writing if the staff member says they will grant a refund!

Ordered an electric toothbrush online in an advertised sale. The company took the order, our local store had heaps of stock.
A week later the order was cancelled despite high stock volume at our local shop.
Honour your sales.

A family member was at the Robertson Rd Aspley Qld and the treatment from the pregnant lady behind the scripts collection was rude and aggressive the lady would have known with the medication in question was for such person yet again rude and aggressive never again avoid this store after many years in customer service I never treated a customer in this way

I went into the shop at 5.40 on the 6th on December

I was going to buy a lipstick.
I used tester to try the colours.
One of your workers, a young lady proceeded to yell at me in front of my husband and other shoppers
Accused me of opening up a lipstick and saying I can't use them.
I Politely told her it is a tester and it was already opened, I tried to show her it was a tester. She wouldn't look at it and called me lier, she said no it isn't and walked off.
Well it most certainly was.
I have never been treated so badly in any store and have live in Altona all my life.
To be treated like this in a store I use regularly is soo upsetting
I was absolutely humiliated in front of everyone and demand an apology from your store.
I will be taking this further.

Shame on your staff for treating customers in this way.
She had no right to yell and accuse me without the proper facts.

My wife bought some stuff from Chemist Warehouse Westgate, and after a couple of days, we changed our minds and asked for a price match or refund of the product (lotion x 3 not open), which was denied by William without any reason and against the refund policy.
Then I went in politely and asked the cashier why these couldn't be refunded. May I know the reason? She said William already told me, and again, no reason was provided. Then I asked to see him. On his arrival, he started returning the stuff without any argument, and the same girl started offering, You can get 1 refund, 1 price match, and 1 full price! Seriously, are you running a business on the street? Why is there a double standard regarding your return policy? poor customer service

Avoid buying electronic product from Chemist Warehouse. They have a rubbish return policy for faulty products.

I bought a waterpik water flosser at St. Marys Chemist Warehouse. Their staff is not even friendly & helpful.

The cashier at Chemist Warehouse Church Street Parramatta (not Westfield branch) was very rude and unprofessional. I was asking for a small paper bag (which she provided for free to the customer in front of me) and she said it was 10cents. when i told her that she didnt charge the customer in front of me she became very rude. I asked for her name and and without giving me her name asked me to leave. she was on old lady and time of experience is 4:10PM of 27/10/2023

We sometimes shop at Chemist Warehouse Clovelly Park if we are travelling past and find the pharmacy staff helpful, but not the other staff, if you can find one. Yesterday, I tried to exchange a large Suisse Calcium and Vitamin D (with docket for items totalling $79.00) for Magnesium to no avail. My husband purchased the wrong vitamins. The woman at the checkout was extremely rude and said they can't put the unopened container back on the shelves and they had a no return policy. l couldn't see any policy regarding that, which I may add, should be prominently displayed as you walk in. I spent $67.95 on Magnesium and makeup yesterday at the store as I was there. Back to a Pharmacy which is closer from now on.

I received package minus pills once I question received email basically accusing me of lyinging goodbye 40.00

I received the wrong colour in my order and the customer service has been appalling. Told me they are too busy to read my email, can’t swap in store, can’t send the right colour until someone reads the email. What a trash online service. Not too busy to take my money.

Just visited Woodville garden’s chemist wHouse.
Tried return, with the receipt, a tube of in-opened face moisturiser. I had bought it from another store 10 days prior but picked out the wrong one. Was told to wait for ‘Karen’ the manager , so waited. So the manager arrives at the registers with stern face only to tell me , sorry but you bought this over a week ago and therefore we can’t give you a refund ! Unbelievable.

Tried to buy 2 products online. One was click collect only and one was online purchase only. The second product required me to talk to a pharmacist. No good reason I couldn't do this in store when collecting my items. Not customer friendly at all. Then I tried to contact them about the issue. My contact attempt has been ignored. They really do not care

I have been going to the same chemisit whare house Bondi beach as I live on North bondi beach four three years I've had great service until the pharmacist changed since this change I have had nothing but problems and attuide from a young unexpericance Asian gentlemen clearly should not have the position and I will be contacting his suppriors!
He said I'm not aloud to have my generic puffer Ventilate as I needed a doctor referral even tho I have asthma,
I said to him it coast me $150 to do tell health with bondi doctors my go the Ventilate is under $20
Keep in mind most of us have already gone to see a Dr or Phycoligst or phsycatrist or all of the above to do pre screening sessions which coast alots of money in this day and age, then you go to chemist whare house to save penny's to be greated with a inexperienced child that shouldn't hold the pistion! trust me once im finished I will have my pleasant phyarmisy back to normal where all spending too much to be treated like inhuman!

Every time I go to either of the 2 x Chemist warehouse stores in Tamworth I am horrified at just how utterly filthy the shops are. They never clean the place - the windows are grimy, the floor filthy, the EFTPOS machine is encrusted in goodness-knows-what. The staff are hopeless, civil but not helpful, it’s as if the customers are an inconvenience to them. Today I was there and I actually pondered the only way this shop will become a reasonably nice place to visit will be in the future when robots take over the jobs of the human retail staff. At least the robots might show some manners and be programmed to clean the place with regularity… 😂

My blood pressure pills had run out and duly waited to hand in my scrip at their window at Strathield. After 5 mins one the several pharmacists in the adjacent area came and protested that I only had the yellow repeat form - issued by THIS shop 2 months ago - but had forgotten to bring the original blue authorisation. I asked if needed to return home far that too? He replied "of course!" - If barbiturates fair enough, but for bpp and later submission ruled out?. It will be the friendly Croydon pharmacy that I will take these to henceforth. Sick of chains.

Went into Chemist Warehouse at Redcliffe today to pick up a CTG Script for my wife Script was taken and when I went to pick it up was advised that 'Your Wife's Business In Not Welcome' this has apparently been put on her file by the Pharmacist.
