Founded in 1987, Chalkys.com has spent nearly four decades at the heart of British music and film retail. We're based in Banbury, Oxfordshire, where our team handles every order with the kind of care you won't find at the big automated warehouses. We sell vinyl records, CDs, DVDs and music merch online — a trusted, human alternative in a world of nameless giants. Chalkys.com blends modern efficiency with the personal touch of a local shop, giving you service you can actually talk to. This is our promise: the scale of a major retailer with the soul of an independent. Big enough to deliver, small enough to care. From the music that soundtracks your life to the films that bring the family together, every order is handled by a team that cares as much about your passions as you do. We offer free shipping across the UK, with competitive rates for orders further afield, so wherever you are, getting your next favourite record or film to your door is easy.

Hi Lee,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We sincerely apologise for the confusion and frustration regarding your order for the "Lost in Space" TV series and the subsequent refund due to a pricing error. We understand how disappointing this must be, especially if the price appears unchanged on our website. We would like to investigate this matter thoroughly for you. Please could you contact us directly at help@chalkys.com with your order number? This will allow us to look into the specific details of your purchase and the pricing discrepancy you've observed. We appreciate your patience and look forward to resolving this for you.
Kind regards

Fair prices, good communications, decent delivery times
Chalkys has become my go-to for physical media since it has become next to impossible to source DVDs - and many CDs - in Aus/NZ. Their prices are fair and seem to always include free postage, which is huge for NZers battling rising international delivery charges. Their communications are excellent and delivery timeframes often better than expected from the other side of the world. Packaging is protective and appropriate. They do a great job; I am grateful!

Superb service from Chalkys recently. Ordered a vinyl LP for a present- dispatch was quick and delivery was also very rapid. The LP was packed very securely in specialist cardboard protective packaging and arrived in perfect condition. It was very competitively priced too. I will not hesitate to use Chalkys again.
