Upside: Competitive price, selection of items/titles I was looking for, acceptable packaging (I was really afraid of possible damage, but the shipment has survived very well), tracking now available. Downside: A little bit slow shipping, but nothing dramatic.

I can't get a lot of CDs at my local…
I can't get a lot of CDs at my local indie store and want to give Amazon less business since they're participants in the genocide of Palestinians and ICE oppression in the USA, so Chalkys has been a great source when they have things in stock. The prices are often reasonable.
Recently, I was upset that Canadian customs charged me tax and a handling fee when they've never done that before. I told the Chalkys customer service and they said, as long as I provide a photo of my customs receipt, they'll refund that cost, and they did. Very happy.

You might not get your order due to an 'error in pricing'
I ordered the new Harry Styles album on vinyl from Chalkys via Amazon, and it was listed at £18.87. I received a notification later that day saying the item had been dispatched and I received a tracking number. Later the same day, I received an email telling me that the order had been refunded as there was an 'error' with the price. I contacted them and there was no attempt to make up for their error at all, just replies with the same copy-and-paste wording about not being able to offer the item at the price they advertised. I can see this has happened to many customers across many different items they are selling through Amazon. As someone who has shopped from Chalkys for years, this is a very disappointing experience and I will no longer be giving them my business.

Due to the volume of orders processed at the incorrect price, fulfilling these orders would have led to significant financial losses. As a small business, we operate with very narrow margins, and selling the item at the inaccurate price would have resulted in a loss that we simply cannot absorb. Our terms and conditions allow us to cancel orders in instances of clear and genuine pricing errors.
We have already initiated a full refund for this order. We understand that this outcome is disappointing, and we are genuinely sorry for any inconvenience this situation may have caused.
